Obesity is currently considered a biological and socialpathology that predisposes humans to several chronicdiseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease,type II diabetes, joint problems among others. Obesityhas increased alarmingly and is affecting women duringthe reproductive stage, carrying the maternal risksassociated with excess weight, fetal morbidity and mortality.Body mass is use to assess the weight increase.
