This article provides a concise summary on embryonic stem cell banking processes from cell line characterization, storage, quality assurance, safety testing, distribution, and post-distribution monitoring. It also states the importance of an international network and collaboration for technology and knowledge transfer Moreover, the Bank should play a substantial role as a national reference and a training center for stem cell research.
