Protein-protein interaction technologies and methods for drug target identification / 国际药学研究杂志

ABSTRACT

Protein-protein interactions (PPI)play an indispensable role in cell growth,metabolism,aging and apoptosis. Abnormal PPI will lead to cell dysfunction and diseases. Thus,it is necessary to build new technologies for target identification. PPI technologies can reveal the function of proteins and the interaction of proteins with the other molecules at molecular level,so they are widely used in identification of drug target. In this review,applications of PPI technologies in drug target identification are introduced.
