Selection to become a Navy nurse begins with meeting certain qualifications and requirements, which include a degree from a 4-year university, age between 18 and 41, currently licensed, willing to serve 3 years Active Duty, and in good physical condition (Navy Recruiting Command, n.d.). [...]I reported to my current duty station, US Naval Hospital Naples, where I serve on the Board of Directors as the Director for Healthcare Business. In this role, I serve as a specialty subject matter expert and provide expert advice to Chief of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery and Nurse Corps Chief.
