ABSTRACT
Study Objective:
D-dimer utility in diagnosing pulmonary embolism (PE) in the setting of COVID-19 has not been clearly established. Patients presenting with COVID-19 are screened for disease severity with d-dimer. The primary outcome of this study was to evaluate the test characteristics of d-dimer assay for the exclusion of PE in patients with COVID-19 in both the academic and community setting.
