RESUMO

According to the technology requirements of the fourth national survey of Chinese Materia Medica resources (pilot), suitable investigation method of exploration and suggestions for investigating Chinese Materia Medica resources was proposed based on the type of wetland and artificial water of Hongze Lake region. Environment of Hongze Lake and overview of wetland, present situation of ecology and vegetation and vegetation distribution were analyzed. Establishment of survey plan, selection of sample area and sample square and confirmation of representative water area survey plan were all suggested. The present study provide references for improving Chinese materia medica resources survey around Hongze Lake, and improving the technical specifications. It also provide references for investigating Chinese Materia Medica resources survey on similar ecological environment under the condition of artificial intervention.

RESUMO

The objects of research on the resources chemistry of Chinese medicinal materials (RCCMM) are promotion of efficient production, rational utilization and improving quality of CMM and natural products. The development of TCM cause depends on the efficient utilization and sustainable development of CMM, hinges on the technologies and methods for using and discovering medicinal biological resources, stand or fall on the extension of industy chains, detailed utilizaion of resource chemical components by multi-way, multi-level. All of these may help to the recycling utilization and sound development of RCMM. In this article, five respects were discussed to the RCCMM researches and resources recycling utilization ways and goals and tasks. First, based on the principle of resource scarcity, discovering or replacing CMM resources, protecting the rare or endangered species or resources. Second, based on the multifunctionality of CMM, realizing the value-added and value compensation, and promoting the utilization efficiency through systermatic and detailed exploitation and utilization. Third, based on the resource conservation and environment-friendly, reducing raw material consumption, lowering cost, promoting recycling utilization and elevating utilization efficiency. Fourth, based on the stratege of turning harm into good, using the invasive alien biological resources by multi-ways and enriching the medicial resources. Fifth, based on the method of structure modification of chemical components, exploring and enhancing the utility value of resouces chemical substances. These data should provide references and attention for improving the utilization efficiency, promoting the development of recycling economy, and changing the mode of economic growth of agriculture and industry of CMM fundamentally.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Study the toxicity effect of different rate of Sargassum and Radix Glycyrrhizae on rats. METHOD: 32 Wistar rats [body weight (123 +/- 15.3) g] were random divided into 4 groups of 8: normal group (A) and compatibility medicine group (B, C, D). The normal group was oral administrated with the distilled water, B, C, D group were oral given the Sargassum and Radix Glycyrrhizae (1:1), Sargassum and Radix Glycyrrhizae (1:2), Sargassum and Radix Glycyrrhizae (1:3) for 35 days, the dose was 20 mg x g(-1) weight, in the meantime, general state of health was observed, then rats were slaughtered, and the body weight, internal organs coefficient, blood routine, serum biochemistry and liver drug enzyme were assaied. RESULT: The rats' general state of health, body weight, internal organs coefficient has not been affected, the hemoglobin, the red blood cell, the kidney function and liver function have been affected, and has some toxic effect on the rats' white blood cell and cardic muscle, the toxic effect on cardic muscle was increase along with the rate of Sargassum and Radix Glycyrrhizae; liver drug enzyme activity has been improved. CONCLUSION: The different rates of Sargassum and Radix Glycyrrhizae have some selective toxic effect on internal organs of rats.
