Influence of homeopathy on the quality of quail eggs stored for different periods of time

The purpose of this trial was to assess the influence of homeopathy products on the diet of quails based on egg quality when submitted to different storage periods. Methodology: Two hundred, 45 day old Japanese quails and 80% of production were used, in a completely randomized design comprised of a 4x3 factorial, and 4 diets (basal feed, inert vehicle and 2 homeopathic products: Fertsigo® (Sulphur10 CH, Sepia 15CH ) and Ovosigo® (Belladonna 12CH,Silicea 12 CH, Natrum mur. 30CH, Calcarea phos. 30CH, Sulphur 12CH) and 3 storage periods (0 days, 7 days and 14 days) with ten repetitions of three eggs per treatment. The weight, percentages of yoke, albumen and shell, albumen height and yolk color, specific gravity, Haugh unit, yolk index and shell thickness were evaluated. The data were submitted to variance analysis to verify whether there was a interaction effect between homeopathy factors and storage time, and when absent, the isolated effects. Results: An interaction between the homeopathic products and time was found for the parameters of albumen height and yolk, Haugh unit and yolk index, which reduced over time. For egg weight, yolk, albumen and shell, a significant effect (p<0.05) was found only in the case of homeopathy for the percentages of albumen and shell. For egg and albumen weights, yolk and albumen percentages, specific gravity and colorimetry there was an effect for time, however these parameters reduced over the storage time in days. The addition of the homeopathic based products Ovosigo® and FertSigo® are indicated for the diets of Japanese quail during the laying phase since it resulted in better weights for the egg and its components. Conclusion: The different homeopathic products did not have an influence on conserving the quality of the Japanese quail eggs during the periods evaluated.

The use of homeopathy and flower therapy as an aid in the treatment of climacteric symptoms: an integrative review

Climacteric is characterized as the set of symptoms that usually start in the period of transition from the reproductive phase to female senility, and directly impacts woman's quality of life. Currently, the treatments approved by the FDA for this pathology mainly involve the use of antidepressants and hormone replacement, both having side effects. Clinical studies carried out in 2002, showed an increased risk of breast cancer, and other pathologies related to the prolonged use of these drugs. The impact ofthe studies resulted in a greater interest in complementary and alternative medicines (CAMs), such as the use of homeopathy and flower remedies for the treatment of climacteric symptoms. This abstract aims to present an integrative review on the use of homeopathy and flower remedies in the treatment of climacteric symptoms, in order to identify it main scientific evidence. For this, metodology consisted of research in the databases Web of Science, Google Scholar, HomeoIndex, LILACS and SciELO. The inclusion criteria were original human studies, totally available, and published in the last 10 years in Portuguese, English and Spanish, presenting the use of floral remedies or homeopathic treatment. The main homeopathic medicines used were Lachesis mutus, Belladona, Sepia officinalis, Sanguinaria canadensis and Sulfur. The main flower remedies were Cherry plum, Agrimony, Gentian, Walnut, Olive and Larch. The findings in this review demonstrate a positive outcome trend in favor of the effectiveness of these practices through the studies evaluated, encouraging the expansion of new designs and research that fully contemplate the principles of these practices. Thus, this work contributes to the advancement in the understanding of each one of these rationalities, making this work a source of consultation for health professionals and for future research, resulting in a strengthening of CAMs in the field of health.

Outcomes and effects of homeopathic treatment of malaria in Kenya, a multi-centre study

Background InKenya malaria is the leading cause for illness and death; homeopathy is used for many years to treat this disease. A previous study in Ghana in 1996, showed comparable effects of homeopathy and chloroquine. MethodsIn three studies we documented homeopathic treatment in a retrospective qualitative study, a prospective single arm study, and a comparison between one cohort receiving homeopathic treatment and the other artemether.ResultsIn the qualitative retrospective study (2014) (n=54), we related typicalmalaria and individual symptoms, with remedy prescriptions and affected organs. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) showed, that specific remedies were prescribed for patterns of affected organs.In the prospective study (2014) (n=70),the primary outcome was the parasitological status at the first follow up (median 8 days), secondary outcome was the quality of life measure with Outcome Related to Impact on Daily Life. In the third study, of the group (n=79) (b) exposed to homeopathy, n=6 (a) were still parasite-positive after one week, in the control (co-artem) group of n=35 (c) no patient was positive (d). The odds ratio was 5.8068 (95% CI 0.3183 ­105.8794), with z = 1.187 and P = 0.2352. The difference was not statistically significant; homeopathic remedies and coartem tablets had similar effect for uncomplicated malaria in that region.Co-morbidity was treated with different remedies.ConclusionHomeopathic treatment can be used as a valuable option, also when other treatments are ineffective by microbial resistance, not indicated (as in pregnancy) and financially not affordable.(AU)

Homeopatia: uma forma de tratamento e prevenção da COVID-19. Revisão da literatura / Homeopathy: a form of treatment and prevention of COVID-19. Review

A COVID-19 é uma doença multifatorial infecciosa causada pela SARS-COV-2, cepa advinda de uma ampla família de vírus, que podem causar desde um resfriado comum até doenças mais graves, como síndrome respiratória aguda grave (SRAG). Reportada primariamente em Wuang, na China, no ano de 2019, esta doença foi declarada pandemia pela Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS) no ano seguinte. A manifestação da doença pode variar de pessoas assintomáticas, a casos leves, moderados e graves. Por na época ser uma doença com alta transmissibilidade, virulência e mortalidade, as organizações de saúde se esforçaram para criar o mais rápido possível vacinas para evitar as formas mais graves desta patologia. Em contrapartida, os praticantes da homeopatia hahnemanniana focaram em pesquisar medicamentos homeopáticos para curar e prevenir, por meio do "gênio epidêmico", ou seja, conforme o conjunto de sinais e sintomas peculiares à doença coletiva. Diversos medicamentos foram considerados para prevenir e tratar a COVID-19, com resultados positivos em sua maioria. No entanto, há ainda a necessidade de realizar estudos com uma qualidade metodológica mais rigorosa para se obter evidências científicas melhores.

COVID-19 is a multifactorial infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, a strain derived from a broad family of viruses that can cause anything from the common cold to more severe diseases, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Initially reported in Wuhan, China, in 2019, this disease was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO) the following year. The manifestation of the disease can vary from asymptomatic individuals to mild, moderate, and severe cases. At the time, as it was a disease with high transmissibility, virulence, and mortality, health organisations made efforts to create vaccines as quickly as possible to prevent the more severe forms of this pathology. In contrast, practitioners of Hahnemannian homeopathy focused on researching homeopathic remedies to cure and prevent it through the "epidemic genius", which means according to the set of peculiar signs and symptoms of the collective disease. Various remedies were considered to prevent and treat COVID-19, with mostly positive results. However, there is still a need to conduct studies with more rigorous methodological quality to obtain better scientific evidence.

Análisis Mediante Espectrofotometría UV/Vis de Diferentes Productos Terminados Homeopáticos de Nux Vomica 6CH, 7CH y 30CH, Comercializados en Tres Farmacias en Bogotá, Colombia / Analysis by Spectrophotometry UV / Vis of Different Products Homeopathic Finished Nux Vomica 6CH, 7CH and 30CH, Marketed in Three Pharmacies in Bogota Colombia

El aumento de la frecuencia de uso de los medicamentos homeopáticos en la población en general implica que la calidad en la elaboración de los mismos debe indagarse para evitar situaciones adversas en la población que los consume. En Colombia existen procesos legales para obtener el permiso de producción y venta; sin embargo, en éstos no hay verificación del producto terminado contrastándolo con un control. Los medicamentos homeopáticos se elaboran mediante ultradiluciones de sustancias que actúan basados en el principio similia similibus curantur. La Nux vomica es un medicamento homeopático de uso frecuente, dado su carácter de policresto para diferentes patologías, y por lo tanto es importante tener un control de calidad de dicho medicamento. En este estudio se realizaron mediciones de la concentración de Nux vomica 6CH, 7CH y 30CH comprada en diferentes farmacias (FAR) y vendida como producto terminado, comparándolos con un medicamento elaborado por las autoras de este trabajo, utilizando para ello la espectrofotometría UV/Vis, no encontrándose diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ellos después de aplicar energía cinética. The increasing use of homeopathic medicines in the general population implies that the quality in the preparation of those should be investigated to avoid adverse situations in the people who consumes them. In Colombia, there are legal processes to obtain the production and sale license, however, there is no verification of the finished product against a control. Homeopathic medicines are made by ultradilutions of substances that act based on the Similia similibus curentur principle. The Nux vomica is a homeopathic medicine of frequent use, given its character of policresto, for different pathologies and therefore it's important to have a quality control of that medication. In this study, measurements were made of Nux vomica 6CH, 7CH and 30CH concentration purchased in different pharmacies (FAR) and sold as a finished product, comparing them with a drug elaborated by the authors using UV/Vis spectrophotometry. No statistically significant differences were found between them. after applying kinetic energy. (AU)

O uso da homeopatia para o tratamento paliativo dos sintomas em cães e gatos com câncer / The use of homeopathy for the palliative treatment of symptoms in dogs and cats with cancer

Nos últimos tempos o interesse pelos cuidados paliativos na medicina humana vem aumentando, sendo o foco principal para melhorar a qualidade de vida de doentes e suas famílias. Considerando-se o desenvolvimento dos cuidados paliativos na medicina, a proximidade dos animais com a família e o aumento da longevidade dos mesmos há a necessidade de se olhar para os cuidados paliativos nos animais com mais atenção. A homeopatia é uma modalidade terapêutica que preza pelo olhar individual e sistêmico, considerando sintomas físicos, mentais e comportamentais. Estudando a possibilidade dos medicamentos homeopáticos melhorarem a qualidade de vida dos pacientes oncológicos, este trabalho visa fazer um levantamento de medicações homeopáticas a serem utilizadas durante o tratamento paliativo de cães e gatos com neoplasias.

In recent times, the interest in palliative care in human medicine has been increasing as to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Considering the development of palliative care in medicine, the proximity of animals to their families and their increased longevity, there is a need to look more closely at palliative care in animals. Homeopathy is a therapeutic modality that treats the patient as a whole, considering physical, mental and behavioral symptoms. Homeopathic medicines improve the patient's quality of life in cancer, therefore, the aim of this work is to list and describe the use of homeopathic remedies alongside with the palliative treatment of dogs and cats with cancer.

Do homeopathic medicines induce symptoms in apparently healthyvolunteers? The Brazilian contribution to the debate on homeopathicpathogenetic trials

Os ensaios patogenéticos homeopáticos buscam descobrir sintomas específicos e característicos que se manifestam em indivíduos aparentemente sadios, expostos a medicamentos homeopáticos, para que possam ser utilizados na comparação com os sintomas dos pacientes. Ao definir as diretrizes metodológicas para sua realização, Hahnemann deixou claro que deveriam ser o produto de estudos rigorosos para evitar qualquer conjectura em seus resultados. Com o avanço nos métodos científicos, também têm sido propostas novas diretrizes para sua realização, que são incorporadas aos estudos atuais. Autores brasileiros têm oferecido valiosas contribuições científicas para o desenvolvimento dos ensaios patogenéticos homeopáticos, com realização de estudos originais ou inovações na área metodológica. A validade e a confiabilidade das informações produzidas a partir de ensaios patogenéticos homeopáticos são fundamentais para o êxito da prática clínica em homeopatia. (AU)

Abandonado: estudo comparativo dos medicamentos da materia medica homeopatica / Abandoned: comparative study of homeopathic medicines

O tema abandonado despertou o interesse pela necessidade de conhecer sua relação com rubricas constantes em compêndios homeopáticos (Matérias Médicas, Repertórios). Após a seleção dos medicamentos, realizou-se estudo das respectivas patogenesias, acompanhado de comparações entre a manifestação de sintomas semelhantes em medicamentos diversos. O presente trabalho ressalta a Homeopatia como proposta terapêutica, tornando-se importante ferramenta no tratamento de pacientes com a queixa de abandono em situações emergenciais, o que permite a retirada mais precoce de medicação psicotrópica, com consequente melhora da qualidade de suas vidas.(AU)

The abandoned theme aroused interest in the need to know its relationship with constant rubrics in homeopathic textbooks (Medical articles, Repertoires). After the selection of medicinal products, a study of the respective pathogeneses was carried out, accompanied by comparisons between the manifestation of similar symptoms in different medications. The present work emphasizes Homeopathy as a therapeutic proposal, becoming an important tool in the treatment of patients with complaints of ABANDONMENT, in emergency situations, thus allowing the earlier withdrawal of psychotropic medication, improving the quality if their lives.(AU)

Homeopathic drug standardization through biological evaluations: An untrodden avenue

Background: There is a dearth of chemico-analytical or instrumental methods for standardization and quality control of higher dilutions of homeopathic drugs. Aim: This review highlights the challenges in standardization of anti-inflammatory homeopathic drugs and suggests a battery of biological assays for their standardization. Methods: We retrieved a total 57 scientific reports from the experimental studies and scientific reviews published between January 1999 and June 2014 related to anti-inflammatory homeopathic drugs and their high dilutions. These comprised of 18 reports on preclinical evaluation, 15 on source materials, 9 on isolated constituents and 15 studies on in-vitro experiments. Few recent citations which supported the initial studies were added later during the compilation of the manuscript. Conclusion: Standardization and quality control of homeopathic mother tinctures and high dilutions warrants an urgent attention. As biological activities are observed to be attributed to the high dilutions which are practically devoid of active ingredients, their standardization may be done through the suggested battery of biological investigations. It is suggested that the current methods of standardization of homeopathic drugs need to be upgraded to include sensitive, reproducible and relevant biological assays so that the end users are assured of the quality, efficacy, and safety of homeopathic dilutions. Certificados de qualidade para matrizes homeopáticas / Certificate of quality for homeopathic matrixes

Os medicamentos homeopáticos são manipulados em farmácias, que precisam de matérias primas, tinturas-mãe ou dinamizações mais baixas, chamadas de matrizes, compradas de laboratórios de insumos farmacêuticos homeopáticos, pequenas empresas que não contam com uma legislação específica. Matérias primas para a manipulação alopática são sempre acompanhadas de Laudos de Análises. Como as matrizes dinamizadas não podem ser analisadas, um termo diferente deve ser proposto, que traga o máximo de informações sobre o produto comprado. Através da análise de documentos fornecidos por laboratórios nacionais e estrangeiros, este texto propõe um Certificado de Qualidade, que deve conter informações básicas para garantir a rastreabilidade e a qualidade das matrizes adquiridas por uma farmácia para atender às prescrições homeopáticas.(AU)

Homeopathic medicines are manipulated in pharmacies, which need raw materials, mother-tinctures or low potencies called matrixes, which are bought from homeopatic pharmaceutical laboratories, namely small companies for which there is no specific legislation. The raw materials for conventional manipulation are given Analysis Certificates. Since potentiated matrixes may not be analyzed, a different term must be developed indicating the maximum of information on the acquired product. After analyzing the document supplied by national and European laboratories, this article suggests a Certificate of Quality containing the essential information to warrant the sourcing and quality of the matrixes a pharmacy acquires to fill homeopathic prescriptions.(AU)

Homeopatia como uma alternativa para o tratamento da asma / Homeopathy as an alternative for asthma treatment

Introdução: a asma é uma doença inflamatória crônica caracterizada por uma obstrução reversível e uma hiper-reatividade das vias aérea inferiores [1]. É responsável por modificações no estilo de vida, e, considerando sua alta frequência, se tornou um problema importante no orçamento dos serviços de saúde pelo mundo. Aspectos como a falta de resultados definitivos e a presença de efeitos adversos, observados para o tratamento convencional, bem como a busca por melhor qualidade de vida têm aumentado o interesse dos pacientes por terapias alternativas e complementares, sendo a homeopatia uma das mais citadas [2]. Em 2001, a asma estava entre os 10 diagnósticos mais tratados pelos homeopatas nos Estados Unidos [3]. Objetivos: neste trabalho, uma pesquisa qualitativa foi realizada, objetivando avaliar a real contribuição que homeopatia pode representar para os pacientes com asma e o papel do farmacêutico neste tratamento. Metodologia: as bases de dados Medline, Sciencedirect e BIREME foram usadas para encontrar artigos científicos, aplicando as expressões ?asma?, ?homeopatia? e ?terapias alternativas e complementares. Resultados: pelo menos seis trabalhos demonstram aplicações de sucesso da homeopatia no tratamento de adultos ou crianças com asma. Os principais benefícios citados são a diminuição da frequência e da gravidade das crises, além de alguns casos de cura. Conclusões: Os dados ainda são escassos em relação ao tratamento homeopático da asma. Os poucos trabalhos encontrados mostraram que esse tipo de terapia é muito adequada, principalmente pelo componente emocional, mas também por ser livre de efeitos adversos, muito comuns no tratamento convencional (por exemplo, corticoides). Para assegurar que um tratamento correto está sendo feito, o farmacêutico deve estar presente e ativo na identificação e documentação dos pacientes, dando-lhes orientações corretas sobre o uso e o armazenamento dos medicamentos homeopáticos, além de estimular um relacionamento próximo e de confiança com o homeopata. Da mesma forma, a preparação dos medicamentos deve estar de acordo com as guias oficiais a fim de garantir a sua qualidade.(AU)

Background: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by a reversible obstruction and hyperactivity of inferior aerial treat [1]. It is responsible for lifestyle modification and, considering its high frequency, it became an important issue in the budget of health services around the world. Aspects like the lack of definitive results and presence of adverse effects, observed for traditional therapy, as well as the search for better quality of life have increased patients? interest for complementary and alternative medicines (CAM), being homeopathy one of the most cited [2]. In 2001, asthma was between the 10 diagnostics most treated by homeopaths in USA [3]. Aims: In this work, a qualitative research was made focusing the evaluation of the real contribution that homeopathy can represent for asthma patients and the role of pharmacist in this therapy. Methodology: databases such as Medline, Sciencedirect and Bireme were used to find scientific articles, applying the expressions ?asthma?, ?homeopathy? and ?complementary and alternative medicine?. Results: At least six works demonstrate successful applications of homeopathic treatment in children or adults with asthma. The main benefits cited are the decrease of frequency and gravity of the crises, besides of some cure cases. Conclusions: Data available are still scanty about asthma homeopathic treatment. The few works found showed this kind of therapy is very adequate, mainly because of the emotional component of the disease, but also because it represents to be away from the adverse effects commonly related to the traditional therapy (e. g. corticoids). To ensure a correct therapy is being made, the pharmacist must be present and active in the patients? identification and documentation, giving them right orientations about the use and storage of homeopathic medicines, besides of stimulating a close and confidence relationship with the homeopath. Also, the manufacturing of remedies must be according to the official guidelines in order to guarantee their quality.(AU)

In vitro growth of uropathogenic Escherichia coliisolated from a snow leopard treated withhomeopathic and isopathic remedies: a pilot study / Estudo do crescimento (in vitro) de Escherichia coli uropatogênica isolada a partir de um leopardo das neves e tratada com medicamentos homeopáticos e isopáticos: estudo piloto

This paper reports the results of incubation of a strain of uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC)isolated from a snow leopard - which had died of septicemia secondary to necro-hemorrhagiccystitis - with homeopathic and isopathic remedies. Methods: UPEC was isolated from heartblood and previously typified for virulence factors; it was incubated with homeopathic remediesCantharis vesicatoria (urinary tract infection affinity), Mercurius solubilis (from symptomsanalysis) and nosode prepared from the actual strain, all in dilution 12cH. Results: 2 patterns ofbacterial growth were observed, associated to the quality of nutrients in the culture medium; inrich-nutrient medium, nosode of E. coli 12cH had a significant inhibitory effect; in poor-nutrientmedium, Merc 12cH exerted significant inhibitory effect. Conclusion: results suggest that theprevious conditions of prokaryote systems may influence the in vitro response to homeopathic andisopathic remedies.(AU)

Este artigo relata os resultados da incubação de uma linhagem de Escherichia coli uropatogênica (UPEC) isolada a partir de um leopardo das neves, que morreu de septicemia secundária a cistite necrótica-hemorrágica. A UPEC foi tratada com preparados homeopáticos e isopáticos. Métodos: UPEC foi isolada de sangue cardíaco e previamente tipificada para fatores de virulência; foi incubada com o medicamento homeopático Cantharis vesicatoria (afinidade com infecção do trato urinário), Mercurius solubilis (a partir da análise de sintomas) e nosódio preparado a partir da mesma linhagem de bactérias, todas em 12 cH. Resultados: 2 padrões de crescimento bacteriano foram observados, associados à qualidade dos nutrientes do meio de cultura; em meios ricos em nutrientes, nosódio de E. coli 12 cH teve um significativo efeito inibitório; em meio pobre de nutrientes, Merc 12 cH exerceu efeito inibitório significativo. Conclusão: os resultados sugerem que as condições prévias do sistema procarioto estudado podem influenciar as respostas proliferativas in vitro para preparados homeopáticos e isopáticos. (AU)

Historia y utilidad de la farmacopea homeopática de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos / History and usefulness of the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States of Mexico

La Farmacopea Homeopática de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos es un instrumento normativo de la Secretaría de Salud que, a través de la Dirección General de Control de Insumos para la Salud, permite proteger los correctos procesos de producción, almacenamiento y venta de los medicamentos homeopáticos en beneficio de la población mexicana. Es una de las pocas obras en su género oficiales en el mundo, y además de ser una referencia obligada para la industria químico-farmacéutica homeopática y para la comunidad médico homeopática mexicana en general, algunos países latinoamericanos la han adoptado como su farmacopea oficial.

The Mexican Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia it's a normative instrument of lhe Ministry of Health, witch through the General Directorate for the Control of Health Products, may supervise the correct production processes, storage and distribution of homeopathic medicines for profit of the Mexican population. It is one of the few official books of its kind in the world, and besides being a must for the chemical pharmaceutical and homeopathic industry, and for the Mexican homeopathic community in general, Latin American countries have adopted it, as their official pharmacopoeia.

Casos clínicos em Homeopatia: Diretrizes para publicação / Case reports in Homeopathy: guidelines for publication

Relatos de casos clínicos se constituem num dos tipos de publicação mais tradicionais em medicina, servindo tanto como fonte de aprendizagem como de inspiração para novas pesquisas e descobertas científicas. Casos clínicos podem ser publicados para descrever ocorrências inesperadas em atos médicos, incluindo doenças desconhecidas, novos efeitos adversos ou benéficos de intervenções médicas ou relações causais não suspeitadas anteriormente, entre outras possibilidades. Os relatos de casos clínicos em homeopatia devem incluir a descrição do doente com seus problemas de saúde, dentro de uma abordagem integral do ser humano. A proposta de estrutura para redação de casos clínicos é complementada pela sugestão de diretrizes e critérios normativos para aprimorar a qualidade dos relatos de casos. Case report is a traditional type of publication in Medicine, being a source of learning as well as an inspiration for new research and scientific discoveries. Case reports are published to describe unexpected events that happen in medical care, including unkwn diseases, new adverse or beneficial effects of medical interventions or previously unsuspected causal associations, among other uses. Case report in Homepathy should approach the patient as a whole and include the description of the patient together with his or her health problems. The proposal of an editorial structure for the publication of case reports is followed in the paper by some guidelines and criteria to improve the quality of clinical case reporting in Homeopathy. Experience, together with Ethics and Evidence, are the three pillars of medical compentence. It is, thus, fundamental to publish an accurate, reflexive and clear report of clinical experiences acquired by medical doctors in their daily care of real patients.

A pesar de que la terapeutica homeopatica tiene mas de un siglo de haber sido introducida por el Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, su desarrollo no ha sido el deseado por todos los que en alguna forma estamos conectados con ella. Los factores que propician este precario desenvolvimiento son muy diversos: uno de ellos, y quizas el que guarda mas importancia, es el limitar los conocimientos adquiridos solamente a la Materia Medica. Sin duda Hahnemann se encontro con otras condiciones politicas, sociales, culturales, ambientales y filosoficas, que inciden directamente en las experimentaciones po el descritas. Actualmente existe la necesidad de adecuar todo lo hecho por el a nuestro mundo contemporaneo; aislarse de los cambios constantes a nuestro alrededor es incongruente. Por tal motivo se ha realizado el presente trabajo recapitulativo, el cual marca el inicio de algo que pretende ser sustento fundamental para la terapeutica homeopatica, como es la investigacion, la cual deseamos se continue pues pretende ser tambien prospectiva y por tanto indispensable que sea enriquecida continuamente. Este estudio trata de manera general, el empleo que se ha dado a la fluorometria y los aportes que esta ha brindado a las diferentes areas donde ha sido utilizada. Se presenta la descripcion de las curvas de excitacion y emision que guardan las diferentes substancias homeopaticas utilizadas, todo acondicionado con graficas de las mismas; al final se incluye un glosario de terminos utilizados en fluorometria y algunas recomendaciones necesarias para el adecuado manejo del aparato fluorometrico.
