This paper presents a literature review on the study of acne, describing many important points about the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and conventional treatments, as well as describe the local care and interference of diet on acne, and emphasizes the possibility homeopathic treatment from the look of acne semiotics to the pursuit of constitutional medicines of patients, whereas homeopathic therapy is based on symptomatic totality of each individual.
