The authors, during Summer 1985, at Calca (Cusco-Perú), observing the stems of an introduced palm, as ornamental (Phoennix dactylefera), registered 14 species of epiphytic plants, and two species of trees reported as "pseudoepiphytic" because they grew as epiphytic but without producing flowers.The trees are Eucalyptus globulus (exotic9 and Schinus molle (native).
