ABSTRACT

This research firstly establishes the oxidative damage model of H9c2 induced by H2O2 and screens the concentration range of intestines absorption liquid of Qi benefiting and blood circulation activating formula which possess external myocardium protection function. Then, the thesis chooses 4 dosages to conduct experiments:examining the protection function of intestines absorption liquid of Qi benefiting and blood circulation activating formula on H9c2 to provide reference for clinical prevention and curing of relative heart diseases of oxidative stress injury; as well as examining the H9c2 cardiac muscle cell vigour, cellular morphology, SOD, MDA and other indexes to primarily evaluate and discuss the functional mechanism of intestines absorption liquid of Qi benefiting and blood circulation activating formula. The results show that the intestines absorption liquid of Qi benefiting and blood circulation activating formula has relatively better protection function toward the H9c2 cardiac muscle cell damage induced by H2O2 and presents concentration dependency to some extent. The intestines absorption liquid of Qi benefiting and blood circulation activating formula can increase SOD vigour, and decrease MDA emission, thus decreasing the formation of abnormal cell and strengthening the oxidation resistance of cardiac muscle cell. The intestines absorption liquid of Qi benefiting and blood circulation activating formula has protection function to some extent.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To observe the regulative effect of opuntia powder on blood lipids in wistar rats and to explore its mechanism. METHOD: Forty normal rats were divided into four groups:control group (fed with basal feed), opuntia high, middle and low dosage groups (fed with basal feed and opuntia powder of high, middle and low dosage. The influence of opuntia powder on serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), arteriosclerosis index (AI), serum malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) were observed. (2) All of the hyperlipemia wistar rats for experiments were divided into four groups: model control group and other three groups (high, middle, low dosage groups respectively). Three weeks later, samples of blood were taken for survey of levels of TC, TG HDL-C, LDL-C, AI, MDA, SOD. RESULT: After opuntia powder treatment, the level of TC in nomal wistar rats was decreased. However, there was no significant difference comparing with control group (P > 0.05). The serum MAD level in the low, middle and high dosage groups were all obviously decreased, which were significantly lower than that in the control group. The SOD activities were all higher than that in the control group. The level of TC, LDL-C, AI (P < 0.01), TG (P < 0.05) were lower significantly in hyperlipemia wistar rats after treated by opuntia powder of high, middle and low dosage. The down-regulation of blood lipids was related with the dosage of opuntia powder. CONCLUSION: The opuntia powder may regulate the level of blood lipids in normal and hyperlipemia wistar rats. The effect is more obviously in hyperlipemia rats than that in normal rats.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To understand the status quo adverse drug reactions(ADR) occurred in our hospital and to promote clinical use of drugs.METHODS:By retrospective analysis, study 73 ADR cases collected from our hospital in 2009 were analyzed in respect of gender and age of patient, route of administration, category of drugs, organs and systems involved in ADR and its clinical manifestation.RESULTS:Of total 73 ADR cases,35.6% of cases were induced by anti-infective agents and 9.6% traditional Chinese medicines. Most of cases were caused by intravenous administration.Main clinical manifestations were lesion of skin and its appendents.CONCLUSION:Rational use of anti-infective agents and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) should be strengthened.Quality control and standard application of TCM injection should be enhanced to reduced or avoid the incidence of ADR.
