ABSTRACT

PURPOSE: To develop a new 4/6 infarct nephrectomy (INx) model rat mimicking moderate chronic kidney disease (CKD) and to evaluate its application. METHODS: We modified the conventional 5/6 INx rat model to create the 4/6 INx model by ligating the renal artery branch to induce infarction of one-third of the left kidney after right kidney removal and compared biochemically and histologically both models. To demonstrate the application of the 4/6 INx model, the effects of a supplementary compound containing calcium carbonate, chitosan, palm shell activated charcoal etc., that is effective for both CKD and its complications, were compared between both models. RESULTS: Impairment of renal function in the 4/6 INx group was significantly more moderate than in the 5/6 INx group (P < 0.05). The 4/6 INx group showed less histological damage in kidney than in the 5/6 INx group. The supplementary compound did not improve CKD in the 5/6 INx group, but ameliorated elevation of blood urea nitrogen in the 4/6 INx group. CONCLUSIONS: We developed the 4/6 INx model, which is more moderate than the conventional 5/6 INx model. This model could potentially demonstrate the effectiveness of drugs and supplements intended to prevent CKD and its progression.

BACKGROUND: Blood transfusions are risk factors for alloimmunization and unfavorable outcomes in solid organ transplant recipients. PURPOSE: We propose the adoption of autologous blood transfusion (ABT) in transplant candidates and recipients referred to elective surgery. METHODS: We present a case of a 45-year-old man with chronic kidney disease stage 5 due to polycystic kidney disease, who was qualified for a native kidney nephrectomy (NKN) before kidney transplantation. Before the scheduled surgery, the patient was referred to a blood donation center for blood collection. RESULTS: During 2 consecutive visits, autologous blood was collected uneventfully, and this allowed for the preparation of 2 units of red blood cell concentrates and a unit of plasma. Pre- and post-donation hemoglobin values were 11.9 and 10.4 g/dL, respectively. The NKN procedure was complicated by intra-abdominal bleeding from an accessory aberrant artery of the kidney. Hemoglobin dropped to 6.8 g/dL and was treated with ABT, followed by artery embolization. This allowed for an increase of hemoglobin to 8.3 mg/dL and avoidance of allotransfusion. Six weeks after NKN, the patient underwent successful kidney transplantation from a living donor. Panel reactive antibodies before transplantation were 0%, and graft function has been excellent during 20 months of observation. CONCLUSION: An autologous blood collection is a feasible option for patients with chronic kidney disease. ABT should be considered the procedure of choice when qualifying potential waiting list candidates and solid organ recipients for elective surgeries.

ABSTRACT

Kidney cancer represents the third most prevalent malignancy among all types of genitourinary cancer worldwide. Currently, there is a growing trend of employing partial nephrectomy for the management of large and complex tumors. Surgical outcomes are associated with some amendable surgical factors, including warm ischemic time, pedicle clamping, preserved volume of renal parenchyma, appropriate surgical strategy, and precise resection of the tumor. Improving surgical performance is pivotal for achieving favorable surgical outcomes. Due to advancements in imaging visualization technology and the shift of the medical paradigm toward precision medicine, an increasing number of navigation systems have been implemented in partial nephrectomy procedures. The navigation system can assist surgeons in formulating optimal surgical strategies and enhance the safety, precision, and feasibility of resecting complex renal tumors. In this review, we provide an overview of currently available navigation systems and their feasible applications, with a focus on how they contribute to the improvement of surgical performance and outcomes during robotic-assisted and laparoscopic partial nephrectomy.

OBJECTIVES: Incidental small renal masses (SRMs) now account for the majority of new diagnoses of renal cancers. Although there are established management guidelines, referral and management patterns can vary. We aimed to explore identification, practice patterns, and management of identified SRMs in an integrated health system. STUDY DESIGN: Retrospective analysis. METHODS: We identified patients with a newly diagnosed SRM measuring 3 cm or less from January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2017, at Kaiser Permanente Southern California. These patients were flagged at the time of radiographic identification to ensure adequate notification of findings. Diagnostic modality, referral, and treatment patterns were analyzed. RESULTS: Of 519 patients with SRMs, 65% were found on abdominal CT and 22% on renal/abdominal ultrasounds. Within 6 months, 70% of patients consulted with a urologist. Initial management patterns were as follows: active surveillance (60%), partial/radical nephrectomy (18%), and ablation (4%). Among 312 patients on surveillance, 14% eventually received treatment. The majority of patients (69.4%) did not receive guideline-recommended chest imaging for initial staging. Urologist visit within 6 months of SRM diagnosis was associated with increased adherence to staging (P = .003) and subsequent surveillance imaging (P < .001). CONCLUSIONS: In this contemporary analysis of an integrated health system's experience, referral to a urologist was associated with guideline-concordant staging and surveillance imaging. Frequent utilization of active surveillance with a low rate of progression to active treatment was noted in both groups. These findings shed light on care patterns upstream of urologic evaluation and support the need for clinical pathways to be implemented at the time of radiologic diagnosis.

Introduction: With the rise in the detection of incidental small renal masses (SRM), the management paradigm for these patients has become an issue of increasing concern. We aim to identify areas of consensus, controversy, and opportunities for improvement among recently published guidelines and assess the strength of evidence for the management of SRMs. Methods: We reviewed practice guidelines for SRMs promulgated by the American Urological Association, European Association of Urology, National Comprehensive Cancer Network, American Society of Clinical Oncology, European Society for Medical Oncology, and the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology. Levels of evidence and strength of recommendations for evaluation, management and follow-up were analyzed with regard to consensus, conflict, and neglect. Results: There is consensus among guidelines for the initial evaluation and treatment of SRMs; however, discrepancies exist with regard to indications for active surveillance, thermal ablation, and timing/method of follow-up after treatment. Routine renal mass biopsy is not recommended by any guideline. Overwhelmingly, guideline statements are based on low to moderate levels of evidence; only 23% of the reviewed guidelines were based on high-level evidence, 38% based on moderate-level, and 39% on low-level evidence or expert opinion. Conclusions: Despite all six guidelines sharing a consensus on most management topics regarding SRMs, the ongoing lack of high-level evidence precludes gold standard recommendations in the areas of diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. More high-quality studies are needed to develop a stronger, data-supported universal guideline for the management of SRMs.

ABSTRACT

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) can cause gut microbiota dysbiosis and thus impair intestinal barrier function. Disruption of intestinal homeostasis facilitates the production of enterogenic toxins, which exacerbate CKD-induced uremic toxicity and inflammation. Dietary fiber, by targeting the gut-kidney axis, could be used for CKD treatment. Psyllium seed husk (PSH) extracted from the seeds of Plantago ovata contains highly branched, gel-forming arabinoxylan. Positive effects of PSH on host physiology have been demonstrated but whether it also acts on the microbial ecosystem in CKD patients is unknown. In this study, the effects of dietary PSH on the gut microbiota, intestinal barrier function, systemic inflammation, uremic toxins, and renal injury were investigated in 5/6 nephrectomy (5/6Nx) CKD rats. Blood, feces, and kidney and colon tissues were collected from PSH-treated and control rats and subjected to biochemical and histological analyses, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, and 16SrRNA sequencing. PSH supplementation reduced serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen levels, and attenuated renal tubular interstitial injury, in 5/6Nx rats. 16SrRNA sequencing showed that PSH improved the gut microbiota and intestinal barrier function in addition to down-regulating serum interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6, and indoxyl sulfate levels. Together, these results demonstrate the potential of PSH supplementation for treating CKD, including by improving intestinal microecology, reducing uremic toxin levels and systemic inflammation, and delaying disease progression.

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE: To evaluate whether significant loss in ipsilateral renal parenchymal volume (IRPV) and renal function occurs during active surveillance (AS) of renal oncocytoma (RO) patients. METHODS: Renal function (estimated glomerular filtration rate, eGFR) dynamics were retrospectively analyzed in 32 consecutive biopsy-diagnosed RO patients managed with AS at a National Comprehensive Cancer Network institute. Three-dimensional kidney and tumor reconstructions were generated and IRPV was calculated using volumetry software (Myrian®) for all patients with manually estimated RO growth >+10 cm3. GFR and IRPV were compared at AS initiation vs. the last follow-up using 2-sided paired t-tests. The correlation between change in IRPV and change in RO size or GFR was tested using a Spearman coefficient. RESULTS: With median follow-up of 37 months, there was no significant change between initial vs. last eGFR (median 71.0 vs. 70.5 ml/min/1.73 m2, P = 0.50; median change -3.0 ml/min/1.73 m2). Among patients (n = 17) with RO growth >+10 cm3 during AS (median growth +28.6 cm3, IQR +16.9- + 46.5 cm3), IRPV generally remained stable (median change +0.5%, IQR -1.2%- + 1.2%), with only 2 cases surpassing 5% loss. No IRPV loss was detected among any patient within the top tertile of RO growth magnitude. RO growth magnitude did not correlate with loss of either IRPV (ρ = -0.30, P = 0.24) or eGFR (ρ = -0.16, P = 0.40), including among patient subsets with lower initial eGFR. Study limitations include a lack of long-term follow-up. CONCLUSIONS: Volumetry is a promising novel tool to measure kidney and tumor tissue changes during AS. Our study using volumetry indicates that clinically significant loss of IRPV or eGFR is uncommon and unrelated to tumor growth among untreated RO patients with intermediate follow-up. These findings support that AS is in general functionally safe for RO patients, however longer study is needed to determine safety durability, particularly among uncommon ≥cT2 RO variants.

ABSTRACT

Purpose: Our study aims to investigate the long-term survival and prognostic factors of patients after laparoscopic radical nephrectomy. Methods: Totally, 245 patients with renal cell carcinoma in our hospital from January 2015 to February 2017 were analyzed retrospectively. The 5-year survival status of patients with renal cell carcinoma was under analysis and further based on univariate analysis, and its influencing factors were analyzed by Cox regression. Results: The average 5-year follow-up time of 245 patients with renal cell carcinoma was (4.88 ± 0.52) years. The mortality of 1 year, 3 years and 5 years were 2.45% (5/245), 6.35% (16/245) and 9.80% (24/245), respectively. The survival rates were 97.55% (239/245), 93.06% (228/245) and 90.61% (222/245). Univariate analysis showed that age, tumor diameter, hematuria, TNM stage and postoperative recurrence may be the influencing factors of 5-year survival of patients with renal cell carcinoma (P < .05). However, the following parameters, including gender, course of disease, and other clinical complications were not related to the 5-year survival of patients with renal cell carcinoma (P > .05). the influencing factors of 5-year survival status of patients with renal cell carcinoma were age, tumor diameter, hematuria, TNM stage, and postoperative recurrence. Conclusion: The study revealed the long-term survival of patients with renal cell carcinoma may be associated with age, tumor diameter, hematuria, TNM stage and postoperative recurrence.

NEW FINDINGS: What is the central question of this study? Are renal changes occurring post-nephrectomy accompanied by cognitive changes, and does early administration of zinc supplements such as ZnSO4 to uninephrectomized rats ameliorate the renal and cognitive changes if present? What is the main finding and its importance? Uninephrectomy-induced renal changes were accompanied by species-atypical behaviour in rats in both Morris water maze and T maze tests, together with hypozincaemia and hippocampal inflammatory and oxidative changes. Early zinc administration to uninephrectomized rats ameliorated the renal, behavioural, hippocampal and serum zinc changes. ABSTRACT: Cognitive impairment is increasingly recognized as an important consequence of kidney disease in humans. Kidney donation is a safe procedure but is known to increase the long-term risk of cardiovascular and kidney disease. Whether kidney donation impairs cognitive function is not known. In the present study, we examined whether the renal changes occurring post-nephrectomy were accompanied by cognitive changes as well, and whether early administration of zinc supplements such as ZnSO4 to uninephrectomized (UNX) rats could ameliorate the renal and cognitive changes if present. The present study included 30 adult male Wistar rats that were randomly assigned to three groups (n = 10 per group): sham-operated rats, UNX and UNX treated with ZnSO4 for 20 weeks. Before termination, rats were subjected to 24-h urine collection and behavioural testing with the Morris water maze and T maze tests. UNX induced significant proteinuria, renal functional, fibrotic and oxidative changes, as well as increased renal desmin expression. UNX rats also showed significant behavioural changes indicating spatial learning and memory affection, together with decreased hippocampal brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and antioxidant capacity, and increased glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), nitric oxide and malondialdehyde. In addition, UNX induced significant hyperglycaemia and dyslipidaemia, as well as significant reduction in serum zinc, copper and selenium. Early administration of ZnSO4 starting 1 week post-nephrectomy significantly ameliorated renal and behavioural changes, as well as hippocampal oxidative, BDNF and GFAP changes. Additionally, Zn recovered serum changes of triglycerides, cholesterol, zinc and copper. Therefore, early administration of zinc to humans undergoing nephrectomy may be of benefit and should be considered in human trials.

BACKGROUND: Surgeons may hesitate to perform nephrectomy (NE) during cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) due to a potential increase in morbidity. However, no data are available regarding the impact of NE on outcomes, so the authors decided to assess its safety during CRS/HIPEC. METHODS: A single-center propensity score-matched study was conducted using a prospective database (1994-2021). The study included patients who underwent NE during CRS/HIPEC with completeness of cytoreduction (CC) of 0, 1, or 2. Control subjects (no-NE) were selected in a 1:3 ratio using propensity score-matching weighted by age, histology, peritoneal cancer index (PCI), CC-0 or CC-1 rate, and length of surgery. RESULTS: Among 828 patients, 13 NE and 39 no-NE control subjects were identified. The indications for NE included tumor involvement of the ureter, hilum, and/or kidney with preserved (n = 8), decreased (n = 2), or absent (n = 3) function. NE patients received more intraoperative intravenous (IV) fluids (16,000 vs 11,500 mL; p = 0.045) and had a greater urine output (3200 vs 1913 mL; p = 0.008). NE patients received mitomycin C (40 mg for 90 min) or melphalan (50 mg/m2 for 90 min) without reduction of dose or time. Major morbidity (p = 0.435) and mortality (p = 1.000) were comparable between the two groups. No postoperative acute kidney injury was seen in either group. Adjuvant chemotherapy was administered to 46.2% of the NE and 35.9% of the no-NE patients (p = 0.553), with similar starting times (p = 0.903) between the groups. CONCLUSIONS: Nephrectomy performed during CRS/HIPEC does not seem to increase postoperative morbidity or to delay adjuvant chemotherapy, and NE can be performed if required for complete cytoreduction. The NE patients in our cohort did not have a reduction of mitomycin C or melphalan dose or perfusion time.

Renal injury is an important factor in the development of chronic kidney diseases that pathologically manifested as renal fibrosis and podocyte damage. In the disease state, renal fibroblasts lead to high expression levels of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), while podocytes undergo epithelial-mesenchymal transition, leading to proteinuria. Celastrol, a bioactive compound in the medicinal plant Tripterygium wilfordii, was found to delay the progression of early diabetic nephropathy and attenuate renal fibrosis in mice with unilateral ureteral obstruction. However, its effect on the renal system in 5/6 nephrectomized (Nx) rats remains unknown. The aim of this study was to explore the protective effects of celastrol and its underlying mechanisms in 5/6 Nx rats. We found that 24 h proteinuria and levels of blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, triglycerides, serum P, renal index and cholesterol significantly increased (P < 0.05), while that of serum albumin decreased significantly in 5/6 Nx rats. After intervention with celastrol, 24 h proteinuria and levels of blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, triglycerides, serum P, renal index, and cholesterol significantly decreased, while that of serum albumin significantly increased. Renal tissue pathological staining and transmission electron microscopy showed that celastrol ameliorated kidney injury and glomerular podocyte foot injury and induced significant anti-inflammatory effects. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and western blotting results revealed that nephrin and NEPH1 expression levels were upregulated, whereas α-SMA and Col4a1 expression levels were downregulated in the celastrol group. Celastrol inhibited the expression of transforming growth factor (TGF)-ß1/Smad3 signaling pathway-related molecules such as TGF-ß1 and P-Smad3. In summary, celastrol contributes to renal protection by inhibiting the epithelial-mesenchymal transdifferentiation and TGF-ß1/Smad3 pathways.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Huangqi decoction on renal interstitial fibrosis and its association with the transforming growth factor-ß1 (TGF-ß1) / mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway. METHODS: 120 C57/BL mice were randomly divided into six groups: sham group, Enalapril (20 mg/kg) group, 5/6 nephrectomy model group, and 5/6 nephrectomy model plus Huangqicoction (0.12, 0.36 and 1.08 g/kg respectively) groups. Detecting 24hours urinary protein, blood pressure, serum creatinine, urea nitrogen content changes. Periodic Acid-Schiff stain (PAS) and Masson's trichrome staining was used to observe the renal tissue pathological changes. Protein expression of TGF-ß1, Phosphorylated P38 mitogen activated protein kinases (P-P38), Phosphorylated c-jun N-terminal kinase (P-JNK), Phosphorylated extracellular regulated proteinhnase (P-ERK), Fibroblast-specific protein-1 (FSP-1), Alpha smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), Type III collagen (Collagen III), Connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), Bcl-2 Assaciated X protein (Bax) and B cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) were measured with western blot and immunohistochemical. RESULTS: Both Huangqi decoction and Enalapril improved the kidney function, 24 h urinary protein and the fibrosis in 5/6 nephrectomy mice, Huangqi decoction downregulated the expressions of TGF-ß1, FSP-1, α-SMA, Collagen III and CTGF in a dose-dependent manner, and it has a significant difference ( 0.01) compared with model group.Huangqi decoction downregulated the expressions of P-P38, P-JNK, P-ERK and Bcl-2 in a dose-dependent manner, while upregulated the expression of Bax. CONCLUSIONS: The protective effect of Huangqi decoction for renal interstitial fibrosis in 5/6 nep-hrectomized mice the inhibition of Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transitions and downregulating the TGF-ß1/ MAPK signaling pathway.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: The number of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients continues to increase worldwide. CKD patients need to take phosphate binders to manage serum phosphorus concentrations. Currently, several types of phosphate binder, including lanthanum carbonate, are used. However, they each have disadvantages. METHODS: In this study, we evaluated cerium oxide as a new phosphate binder in vitro and in vivo. First, cerium oxide was mixed with phosphoric acid at pH 2.5 or 7.0, and residual phosphoric acid was measured by absorption photometry using colorimetric reagent. Second, cerium oxide was fed to 5/6 nephrectomy model rats (5/6Nx), a well-known renal damage model. All rats were measured food intake, water intake, feces volume, and urine volume, and collected serum and urine were analyzed for biochemical markers. RESULTS: Cerium oxide can adsorb phosphate at acidic and neutral pH, while lanthanum carbonate, which is a one of popular phosphate binder, does not dissolve at neutral pH. Cerium oxide-treatment reduced serum phosphate concentrations of 5/6Nx rats without an increase in serum alanine transaminase levels that would indicate hepatotoxicity, and cerium oxide-treatment maintained serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen levels, while those of normal 5/6Nx rats increased slightly. CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that cerium oxide can be a potential phosphate binder. Decreased body weight gain and increased water intake and urine volume in 5/6Nx rats were thought to be an effect of nephrectomy because these changes did not occur in sham operation rats. Additional investigations are needed to evaluate the longer-term safety and possible accumulation of cerium oxide in the body.

ABSTRACT

AIMS: Several studies have linked gut microbes to human diseases. Most of the mechanisms by which lactic acid bacteria have beneficial effects on the human body are related to immune modulation. Controlled studies of the ability of lactic acid bacteria to absorb phosphorus directly from the intestine and thereby control serum phosphorus level in in vivo uremic animal models are limited. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We screened lactic acid bacteria living in Korean fermented foods to identify those that absorb the most phosphorus and noted Lactiplantibacillus paraplantarum KCCM 11826P. The mechanism through which better intracellular absorption of phosphorus occurs in this strain was studied using genomic DNA sequencing. After the strain was administered to 5/6 nephrectomized rats for 6 weeks, it was observed whether hyperphosphatemia had improved. KEY FINDINGS: The L. paraplantarum KCCM 11826P strain has a polyP gene cluster; thus, it absorbs phosphorus better than other bacteria and can suppress strains that produce indole. Supplementing the diets of 5/6 nephrectomized rats with this L. paraplantarum strain significantly decreased serum phosphate level (by 22 %) and reduced blood indoxyl sulphate concentration (by 40 %) compared with vehicle treatment. SIGNIFICANCE: These results suggest that Lactiplantibacillus preparations can be used for multiple purposes, such as the removal of phosphorus and uremic toxins from patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). This study also demonstrates the novel concept of a probiotic phosphate binder.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To assess the clinical utility of renal mass biopsy (RMB) in our multistate system. RMB is useful in the management of masses ≤4 cm (T1a), but evaluation of RMB in the uniquely vulnerable Veteran population is lacking. METHODS: About 136 RMB in 130 patients performed between 06/2015 and 11/2020 were identified in this Quality Improvement analysis. Demographics, size, pathology, treatment, and biopsy complications were analyzed. Of 101 T1a masses, 89 were either diagnostic or not decompressed cysts and 77 met inclusion criteria for follow-up imaging compliance analysis. RESULTS: The median age was 66 years. The diagnostic rate was 94.1% (128/136) for all masses and 94.1% (95/101) for T1a renal masses, with a complication rate of 2.2%. Among solid T1a masses, unexpectedly aggressive lesions (Fuhrman Grade 4, Type 2 papillary or sarcomatoid features) were identified in 8/89 (9.0%). Fifty-seven (64%) patients were treated with cryoablation or surgery and 32 (36%) patients elected active surveillance (AS). A neoplastic finding (oncocytoma or renal cell carcinoma (RCC)) was present in 16 patients choosing AS (50%) compared to 52 patients choosing treatment (91%). Compliance with National Comprehensive Cancer Network-recommended imaging was 50% and 47% for AS and treatment groups, respectively. CONCLUSION: In this VA cohort, we found a significant incidence of high-risk lesions and poor compliance with follow-up imaging. Aggressive biopsy protocols with high consideration of treatment may be appropriate to limit risk in those lost to follow-up. Given that 9% of our small renal masses were highly aggressive, biopsy may be critical in the selection of AS candidates.

ABSTRACT

Wilms tumor is a frequent malignant neoplasia in pediatric population. Extension to the inferior vena cava is a complication that occurs in approximately 4%-15% of cases. Surgical techniques derived from the field of adult transplant surgery allow the resection of the tumor with its thrombus extension. In the case of a 6-year-old male patient with a stage III Wilms tumor that originated from the left renal vein, thrombectomy and left radical nephroureterectomy were accomplished without extracorporeal circulation. Surgical technique applied in adult transplant surgery for removal of advanced renal tumors, could be a safe and feasible technique in pediatric population.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the effect of Danggui Beimu Kushen Pills on renal cell carcinoma patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection and their effects on renal function and immune function. Methods: 106 patients with renal cell carcinoma who underwent retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical surgery in our hospital from March 2015 to February 2017 were selected, and they were divided into control group and treatment group. The control group was treated with interferon and the treatment group was treated with Danggui Beimu Kushen pills on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, survival rate, and the relationship with clinical stages were detected in the two groups. The renal function index levels, immune function index levels, and quality of life levels were measured in the two groups after treatment. Results: Compared with the control group, the total clinical effective rate was increased, the abnormal renal function, abnormal liver function, and platelet decline were decreased, and the survival rate was significantly elevated in the treatment group. The patients with clinical stage I∼II' survival rate was increased, relative to patients with clinical stage III. After treatment, the levels of ß2-MG, SCr, BUN, and CD8+ in the two groups were decreased, while the levels of CD3+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+ were increased. Moreover, the scores of physical function, social function, emotional function, role function, cognitive function, and total score of the two groups were improved. Compared with the control group, the treatment group changes were more obvious. Conclusion: The Danggui Beimu Kushen Pill has significant clinical effects on the treatment of renal cancer, which can improve the clinical symptoms, enhance the immune function, restore the health renal function, improve the quality of life, prolong the survival time of patients, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and provide high safety.
