RESUMEN
A study was made of the distribution of 125I (a chloramine method of labeling) monoclonal antibodies to the surface antigen Ly 2.1 of T-lymphocytes during action of immunomodulators (tactivin, hydrocortisone, tactivin administered after hydrocortisone) on ACR mice. These antibodies were shown to retain antigen binding capacity, permitting monitoring of the redistribution of the antigen in the body exposed to immunomodulators.

On 25 rats with DMBA induced mammary gland adenocarcinoma, there was shown the capacity of a tumoritropic labelled preparation sodium selenium-75-selenite be be absorbed by tumors in the amounts exceeding those in the adjacent muscle days after the administration. A coefficient of the differential accumulation characterizing the level of the isotope uptake by a tumor during the whole period of observation was 3--4. First, there was shown the possibility to use the model of mammary gland tumors induced by DMBA to test labelled tumoritropic compounds.

In experiments on 75 female mice of line SJL/J with lymphograulomatosis, 75 female mice of the same line without lymphogranulomatosis and intact non-lineal mice, the authors have studied the labelled tumorigenic compounds: indium-111, gallium-67-citrates and sodium selenium-75-selenite. It was found that only sodium selenium-75-selenite possesses an enhanced ability to be accumulated in lymphogranulomatosis involved lymph nodes in mice. Whereas indium-111 and gallium-67-citrates contrary to the literature data available showed no enhanced tropism to lymph nodes of mice with lymphogranulomatosis.

Based on the clinico-morphological estimation of scannograms, performed by means of sodium selenite--selenium-75, chloromercury-197 and gallium citrate-67 in 231 patients with tumor (185) and nontumor (46) lung diseases, it was found that the best results were obtained in scannographic visualization of primary tumors of the lung (87%). Positive scintigraphy was found to be of high diagnostic value in recognition of lung cancer proceeding against the background of atelectasis, inflammatory processes and other "disguises" hampering the clinico-roentgenological diagnosis. Positive scintigraphy may be employed in establishing the differential diagnosis between malignant and benign lung tumors.
