[The effect of serotonin on the healing of an experimental stomach ulcer following vagotomy]. / Vplyv serotoninu na zahoiuvannia eksperymental'noï vyrazky shlunka za umov vahotomiï.

On the model of gastric ulcer induced by stress with subsequent trunk vagotomy in rats it is shown that exogenic serotonin induces increased concentrations of serotonin in the gastric tissues, among them in the region of ulcer's defect, decreased amounts of histamine and increased serotonin-histamine indexes, and also promotes calming down of inflammatory phenomena and optimization of reparative processes in the region of ulcer.

[The comparative characteristics of the anti-inflammatory action of chorionic and placental extracts]. / Porivnial'na kharakterystyka protyzapal'noï diï ekstraktiv khoriona ta platsenty.

On the model of the caragenan-induced acute aseptic peritonitis in rats it was shown that in comparison with the extract of placenta the use of the chorion cryoextract leads to the faster completion of neutrophilic and higher stimulation of macrophagal and fibroblastic reaction in the inflammatory focus. Therefore, a new drug of the chorion cryoextract possesses stronger anti-inflammatory actions than the pharmacological preparation of placenta extract used in the same dose.

On the model of carrageenan-induced acute aseptic peritonitis in rats it is shown that in inflammation on the background of administration of chorion's cryoextract a marked inhibition of neutrophilic reaction and stimulation of macrophagic fibroblastic one, and earlier ending of inflammation is observed, i.e. cryoextract of chorion has an expressive anti-inflammatory action which is mainly realized by inhibition of pathologic reactions and stimulation of protective ones in the blood.
