RESUMEN

The integration of the habitat processing and the processing of Chinese herbal medicine is an effective way to ensure the quality of Chinese medicine decoction pieces. This paper analyzes the historical origins, generation and practice, and modern research results of “integration”. It is believed that “integration” is a historical inevitable trend of industry development, and it can effectively solve the problems of the confusion in habitat processing and the difficulty in ensuring the quality of the pieces. It has the positive meaning of being able to clarify product attributes and regulate the management of pieces, abandon the repeated links and simultaneously improve the quality of the pieces and the benefits of the enterprise, and change the status of scattered processing of Chinese herbal medicines in the field, ensure the cleanliness of the production environment and comprehensively improve mechanized production. From the current research results, “integration” can simplify the processing technology, retain more active ingredients and improve the efficacy of drugs, but some Chinese herbal medicines are not suitable for integration. It is suggested to further strengthen the basic research of the integrated decoction pieces in the future, further improve the standardization system of integrated decoction pieces, carry out top-level design of “integration” and cooperate with each other to ensure the healthy and orderly development of “integration”.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To determine the pyrolysis characteristics of calcined and processed calamine, qualitatively and quantitatively compare the contents of related elements, morphology and functional groups of the pyrolysis products dried at different heating temperatures and explore the critical temperature and the optimal drying temperature for the process of calamine with Huanglian Decoction (HLD, ) and San Huang Decoction (SHD, ). METHODS: Pyrolysis products were prepared by programmable and constantly heating the calcined and processed calamine to or at different heating temperatures. Thermogravimetry (TG) was used to test their pyrolysis characteristics. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopeenergy dispersive spectrometer were used to determine their morphology, functional groups and element contents. Page model was used to investigate the constant drying kinetics of processed calamine. RESULTS: The adding of HLD or SHD to calcined calamine (CC) can slow its weight loss in drying pyrolysis process. The temperature ranges where HLD and SHD can affect its weight loss were 65-150 °C and 74-180 °C, respectively. The drying temperature was optimized as 90 °C. The drying kinetic for the processed calamine fits Page model shows good linearity. CONCLUSIONS: Conclusions: The critical temperature and the optimal drying temperature where HLD and SHD can affect the weight loss rate in the process of calamine were explored using the theories and methods of both biophysical chemistry and processing of Chinese materia medica. This work provides a good example for the study of the process of other Chinese medicines using modern analytical techniques.

RESUMEN

The first material recorded about hair charcoal is seen in Nei jing (Inner Canon). It has a history of over 2 000 years for the carbonization of Chinese materia medica. There were controversies on this matter and its clinical application was seldom seen and underdeveloped. After the Yuan Dynasty, the main theory of carbonic herbs for hemostasis, and keeping the nature of the medicines after carbonization was gradually formed, and physicians of generations began to conduct in-depth research. Through repeated practice and verification, people summed up the suitable species of Chinese materia medica and its principle for carbonization. The methods and degree of carbonization of Chinese materia medica are reasonably discussed, with its principle and basis for application primarily interpreted.

RESUMEN

The pollution and destruction of water environment has become one of the main environmental problems in today’s world, and the resource recycling of wastewater from pharmaceutical process of Chinese materia medica (CMM) is the important content in the research of water environment comprehensive prevention and control of water pollution purification. Furthermore, it is the inevitable choice on the green development and industrial upgrading of CMM industry. The wastewater produced in the pharmaceutical process of CMM has the characteristics of unstable composition, many kinds of organic pollutants and varied from different factories, and all belongs to one of the high concentration organic wastewater which is difficult to handle. In this article, the basic thought of “primary treatment-secondary treatment based on resource of effective compositions-third treatment” is been put up according to the characteristic compositions and source of wastewater. In view of the application of a large number of industrial water treatment new technology and new method, the method of using membrane to deal with wastewater is proposed, because of the technology advantages and the rapid growth of market share in water-making and wastewater treatment. Meanwhile, membrane is able to establish effective way of energy saving and environmental friendly integrated technology group. This study provides a new way for the reduction and resource utilization of CMM wastewater.

RESUMEN

The habitat processing and the processing of Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) are the two closely linked to the link in Chinese traditional medicine industrial chain. This paper analyzes the internal relationship among the three aspects in the historical evolution from the historical origin, the professional differentiation, and the development; The research status of the five aspects, such as the integration from their industry definition background, proposal, significance, and current progress of the integration of the habitat processing and the processing of CHM. It is believed that the integration accords with the development trend of history, which is a good way to solve the problem of the quality of Chinese materia medica. Suggestion is given that we should pay more attention to the basic research, in-depth the industry research, the promotion of the industry legislation, and through the supervision of the industry, to the ensurence of the healthy and orderly development of the integration.

RESUMEN

The best harvest period and the best collected part are determined by the research on accumulating process of secondary metabolism for objective component in herbal plants; The pre-processing method of fresh herbs is obtained by the research on microorganisms and enzymes which have the impact and degradation for secondary metabolite, and processing technology of Chinese materia medica is exploratively proposed by using metabolism theory based on fresh herbs.
