RESUMO

Complexes of low-molecular heparin with acetylsalicilic acid was formed in vitro when the weight ratio of components was 1:1, 1:5 and 5:1, respectively. All the complexes possessed fibrinolytic and anticoagulating activities. The complex possessed the highest activity when the ratio of heparin to acetylsalicilic acid was 5:1. This complex at a dose 1 mg/200 g of rat weight had the largest thrombolytic effect on the experimental fresh thrombus.

RESUMO

In the present work, the nature of an anticoagulant from Philipendula ulmaria was studied. A method for purification of this anticoagulant was developed. Using diverse methods it was shown that the molecular weight, data on element (sulphur, nitrogen, and hydrogen) content, spectral characteristics in the infrared region of the spectrum, and electrophoretic properties of the product indicate its similarity to heparin of animal origin.

RESUMO

The flowers of Filipendula ulmaria were found to contain heparin bound to the plant proteins in the form of a complex. This complex enhances the anticoagulant and fibrinolytic properties of the nonenzymatic nature at its administration to animals both intramuscularly and intravenously. The neutralizing effect of protaminesulphate on the anticoagulant activity of the plant heparin was shown. The identity of the action on the hemostasis system of heparin of animal and plant origin was found.

RESUMO

It has been determined that the thromboplastic agents from the inflorescence of the birch Betula pendula Roth, blossoms of the willow Salix daphnoides Vill., seeds of the pea Pisum sativum L. provoke protective reaction of the animal's anticoagulation system, though weaker expressed than the reaction of thromboplastin from brain. The mechanisms of action of thromboplastic agents of plant origin is similar to the mechanism of action of tissue thromboplastin.

RESUMO

Hemostatic properties of extracts isolated from the birch floscules and willow blossoms have been revealed. An agent of thromboplastic nature which is identical to thromboplasin of the rat brain according to its biochemical composition and procoagulative action has been found in these extracts. In contrast to brain thromboplastin thromboplastic activity of plant extracts does not possess the species specificity. After intravenous injection of the plant extracts a reaction similar to defence reaction of the anticoagulation system in response to thromboplastin infusion of the rat brain develops in rats.

RESUMO

It is shown that the epinephrine-heparin-fibrinogen complex, as well as a number of other complex compounds of heparin accomplish the prophylaxis of thrombogenesis at the initial stages of the process, the epinephrine-heparin-fibrinogen complex lysing the thrombi in an average of 48 minutes, while the complexes of fibrinogen-heparin and epinephrine-heparin do this in 2--4 hours. The complex heparin compounds exercise a thrombolytic action only on non-stabilized fresh thrombi with less than 15 minutes from the time of their formation.
