RESUMO

As a typical kind of new pollutants, there are still some challenges in the rapid detection of antibiotics. In this work, a sensitive fluorescent probe based on boron-doped carbon dots (B-CDs) in combination with thermo-responsive magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers (T-MMIPs) was constructed for the detection of oxytetracycline (OTC) in tea drinks. T-MMIPs were designed, fabricated and employed to enrich OTC at trace level from tea drinks, and B-CDs were utilized as the fluorescent probe to detect the concentration of OTC. The proposed method exhibited good linear relationship with OTC concentration from 0.2 to 60 µg L-1 and the limit of detection was 0.1 µg L-1. The established method has been successfully validated with tea beverages. Present work was the first attempt application of T-MMIPs in combination with CDs in detection of OTC, and demonstrated that the proposed method endowed the detection of OTC with high selectivity, sensitivity, reliability and wide application prospect, meanwhile offered a new strategy for the method establishment of rapid and sensitive detection of trace antibiotics in food and other matrices.

RESUMO

Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are a new class of green "designer solvent"; its physicochemical properties can be easily tuned by adjusting DES' constituents, chemical ratio and water content. In this study, three hydrophobic DESs with low viscosity, low density, and melting points close to room temperature were designed and synthesized. Based on these DESs, an air-assisted liquid-liquid microextraction technique was developed based on the solidification of floating DESs for the simultaneous determination of bisphenols and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) via HPLC. The microextraction parameters were optimized via the Plackett-Burman design and response surface methodologies. The method shows satisfactory linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9928), a low limit of detection (0.16-0.75 µg L-1) and satisfactory precision (≤2.3%), and was successfully applied for the simultaneous determination of bisphenols and PAHs from tea infusions with satisfactory recoveries (82.0-116.6%). This method is simple, rapid, economical, environmentally compatible, dispersive solvent-frees and centrifugation-free, and has promising applications in food safety.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To study the protective effects of sacral nerve root electrostimulation on intestinal mechanical barrier in rats with spinal cord injury (SCI). METHODS: Fifty six Wistar rats were divided into normal group, SCI control group and SCI group with sacral nerve root electrostimulation (8 rats in each subgroup at 24, 48, 72 h after spinal cord injury). The following experiments were performed respectively in rats from the 3 groups: bacteria culture from intestinal mesentery lymph nodes, liver, spleen, intestinal morphology observation and detection the protein expression level of ZO-1. RESULTS: The intestinal mucosa appeared different degree of damage in SCI control group; cell-cell connections between intestinal epithelial cells were destroyed; Endotoxin levels in blood and the number of bacterial translocation increased obviously. Sacral nerve stimulation was found toimprove the intestinal mucosal, reduce the endotoxin content in the blood to normal level and the decrease the incidences of bacterial translocation of the gut origin. The expression of tight junction protein ZO-1 of rat intestinal tissue had no statistical differences among the 3 groups. On the other hand, the distribution of tight junction protein ZO-1 appeared different degrees of scattered and irregular in the control group while that in the experimental group appeared different degree of improvement as determined by the immunohistochemistry of rat intestinal tissue. CONCLUSION: sacral nerve root electrostimulation can rehabilitate the peristalsis of denervated colon, promote defeacation and decrease bacterial amount, protection of the intestinal mechanical barrier between intestinal epithelial cells and tight junction, reducing the endotoxin content in the blood and suppressing bacterial translocation from the gut.
