RESUMO

Objective: Lung cancer patients mostly had different degrees of impaired pulmonary function, and these damage also significantly affect quality of life. The concept of pulmonary rehabilitation applicable to patients with chronic respiratory diseases is also applicable to patients with lung cancer. The current application of pulmonary rehabilitation for lung cancer is inconsistent, and reliable guidelines are lacking. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of pulmonary rehabilitation exercise based on wearable device pedometer on lung cancer patients with impaired pulmonary function, and to find a suitable pulmonary rehabilitation program for patients with lung cancer. Methods: In this retrospective study, 100 lung cancer patients with impaired pulmonary function were included. Among them, 51 patients received pulmonary rehabilitation exercise based on a wearable device pedometer (Experiemental group), while 49 received routine nursing mode (Control group). The respiratory function, quality of life, and sports endurance of the two groups were observed. Results: The incidence of postoperative atelectasis, pulmonary infection, hypoxemia, postoperative oxygen therapy time, chest tube indwelling time, and postoperative hospital stay in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < .05); The FEV1, FVC and FVE1% of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group after intervention (all P < .05). Conclusion: Pulmonary rehabilitation exercise based on a wearable device pedometer can effectively improve the respiratory function and exercise endurance of lung cancer patients with impaired pulmonary function and can improve the quality of life and reduce the length of hospital stay.

RESUMO

The objective of the study was to determine the contents of three active components in Jiejia tincture by establishing HPLC method. Test articles were prepared by ultrasonic extraction. Separation was performed using a Kromasil C18 (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 µm) chromatographic column, and gradient elution was performed with acetonitrile-0.3% phosphoric acid solution as the mobile phase at a volumetric flow rate of 0.80 mL/min. The contents of catechin, baicalin and berberine in Jiejia tincture were determined at the wavelength of 276 nm and a column temperature of 30 □. The results revealed that catechin showed a good linear relationship at the range of 100∼800 µg/mL (r=0.9997); baicalin showed a good linear relationship at the range of 15∼120 µg/mL (r=0.9996), and berberine at the range of 7∼56 µg/mL (r=0.9995). Their average recovery rates were 99.67% (RSD 1.01%, n=6), 98.7% (RSD 1.93%, n=6) and 100.5% (RSD 2.88%, n=6) respectively. The study concluded that the high-performance liquid chromatography established in this study was simple, accurate and reproducible, and can also be used in the determination of catechin, baicalin and berberine contents in Jiejia tincture.

RESUMO

Pre-disease is a condition in which characteristic symptoms are not prominent. That is to say pre-disease is lack of key proof to be diagnosed as a disease, but has common symptoms as well as signs. It is said in Inner Canon of Huangdi that "prefer prevention to treatment",which needs doctors to find unusual symptoms in early stage of diseases then take positive preventive measures to help patients regain health.Diabetes mellitus(DM) is one of the life style-related diseases which associated with unhealthy habits of human beings.Pre-diabetes mellitus mainly refers to impaired glucose tolerance(IGT).With the help of modern medical technology, doctors and patients should focus on pre-diabetes by combining TCM treatment based on syndrome differentiation and health care,in order to stop DM at early stage.
