BACKGROUND: There is currently no standard medical device and method available for hyperthermic intraperitoneal therapy studies in rats. In this study, we present our designed device and algorithm that operates based on our own protocol for hyperthermic intraperitoneal treatment in rats. The aim was to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed device, algorithm, and hyperthermia protocol by showing that the device can achieve the desired temperature inside the rat's abdomen, does not cause rat loss due to complications, operates autonomously, and provides warnings to the operator in case of emergencies. METHODS: A closed method for intraperitoneal hyperthermia protocol was established for 6 female 8-week-old (280-310 g) albino Wistar rats. Fluid inlet and outlet tubes and a temperature probe were inserted through a 1 cm vertical incision between the xiphoid and bladder in the rat's abdomen, and the skin was sutured in a circular manner. A protocol for intraperitoneal hyperthermic treat-ment was established using a saline solution at a flow rate of 100 mL/min for 60 min, maintaining a temperature of 41°C±0.5 inside the rat's abdomen. RESULTS: During the study, a temperature of 41°C±0.5 was successfully achieved in the abdomen of all rats at a flow rate of 100 mL/min±5 for 60 min. Due to three rats reaching a rectal temperature above 38.5°C during the hyperthermia protocol, external cooling was applied to the rat's tail base using ice. There were no losses until the postoperative 72nd h, and the study was successfully completed. CONCLUSION: Our designed device and algorithm, which prioritize animal welfare, operate rapidly, safely, and with high accuracy sensitivity, have been successful in hyperthermic intraperitoneal treatment studies in rats. We believe that they can be used as a stan-dard method and approach in hyperthermic intraperitoneal studies in rats.

INTRODUCTION: Injuries to the liver and small bowel are common in multiple injuries. While there are currently a variety of accepted damage-control techniques to expeditiously manage such injuries, morbidity and mortality remain high. Pectin polymers have previously been shown to effectively seal visceral organ injuries ex vivo through physiochemical entanglement with the glycocalyx. We sought to compare the standard of care for the management of penetrating liver and small bowel injuries with a pectin-based bioadhesive patch in a live animal model. METHODS: Fifteen adult male swine underwent a laparotomy with standardized laceration to the liver. Animals were randomized to one of three treatment arms: packing with laparotomy pads (n = 5), suture repair (n = 5), or pectin patch repair (n = 5). Following 2 hours of observation, fluid was evacuated from the abdominal cavity and weighed. Next, a full-thickness small bowel injury was created, and animals were randomized to either a sutured repair (n = 7) or pectin patch repair (n = 8). The segment of bowel was then pressurized with saline, and the burst pressure was recorded. RESULTS: All animals survived the protocol to completion. There were no clinically significant differences between groups regarding baseline vitals or laboratory studies. On one-way analysis of variance, there was a statistically significant difference between groups regarding blood loss after liver repair (26 mL suture vs. 33 mL pectin vs. 142 mL packing, p < 0.01). On post hoc analysis, there was no statistically significant difference between suture and pectin ( p = 0.9). After repair, small bowel burst pressures were similar between pectin and suture repair (234 vs. 224 mm Hg, p = 0.7). CONCLUSION: Pectin-based bioadhesive patches performed similarly to the standard of care for the management of liver lacerations and full-thickness bowel injuries. Further testing is warranted to assess the biodurability of a pectin patch repair, as it may offer a simple option to effectively temporize traumatic intra-abdominal injuries.

BACKGROUND: Debate persists regarding the need for shaking during hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy. Studies assessing the thermal behaviors of the perfusate throughout the abdomen during hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy are limited. METHODS: A closed hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy technique was performed in an institutional International Animal Care and Use Committee approved porcine model targeting a 41°C outflow temperature. Continuous temperature monitoring was conducted. Abdominal shaking was performed for 60 second intervals and temperatures were allowed to equilibrate without shaking between intervals. Temperature distributions and changes due to shaking were evaluated. These findings were validated against human subjects' data. RESULTS: The experimental procedure was conducted in 2 different animals and with 6 total shaking intervals assessed. Without shaking, temperatures were highly variable ranging between 38.0 to 42.2°C. Shaking the abdomen reduced the mean range of temperatures across all locations observed from 3.9°C to 0.8°C (P < .01). The locations of the most divergent temperatures varied based on perfusion cannula position. The point of minimum temperature heterogeneity was achieved in 28.3 (19.1-37.5) seconds. After shaking stopped, heterogeneity equal to the baseline measurements was seen on average within 25.7 (13.3-38.0) seconds. The outflow catheter differed from the system mean temperature by 1.4°C and from the coldest-reading probe by 2.8°C and outperformed the inflow catheter for all time points. With shaking these were significantly reduced to 0.4°C (P < .01) and 0.6°C (P < .01). The patient data mirrored that of the pig data. CONCLUSION: Shaking significantly reduces temperature variability within the abdomen during hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, and significantly improves the ability of the outflow catheter to estimate internal temperatures.

The paper introduces the clinical experience of GAO Hong in treatment of tic disorder. GAO Hong believes that tic disorder results from the primary qi deficiency and mind disturbance. Acupuncture for cultivating the primary and regulating the mind is proposed specially for tic disorder. This acupuncture technique focuses on harmonizing and regulating governor vessel and conception vessel. In clinical practice, the conception vessel acupoints on the abdomen and the governor vessel acupoints on the head are selected particularly, e.g. Zhongwan (CV 12), Xiawan (CV 10), Qihai (CV 6) and Guanyuan (CV 4) on the abdomen; Baihui (GV 20), Shenting (GV 24), Benshen (GB 13) and Yintang (GV 24+) on the head. The needling sequence and the insertion depth are emphasized, which affect the curative effect and GV 20 is generally punctured first. Besides, considering to the type of disorder and the affected site, tic disorder is treated in view of both syndrome/pattern differentiation and symptom differentiation.

OBJECTIVE: To examine the bone proportional measurement standard on the chest and abdomen of modern women. METHODS: The height, weight and distances of bone proportional measurement chest and abdomen of 101 young females were measured. The height was divided by 75 to calculate the data of bone proportional measurement, and compared with the national standard published in 2006 and the ancient literature of Miraculous Pivot: Gudu. RESULTS: The bone proportional distances between two nipples and two coracoid processes of women were 8 cun and 12 cun respectively, which were in line with the 2006 national standard. The bone proportional distance from navel to superior margin of pubic symphysis (Qugu) was 6.5 cun, which was consistent with the ancient literature of Miraculous Pivot: Gudu. The bone proportional distance from suprasternal fossa to the middle point of xiphisternal synchondrosis (Qigu) was less than 9 cun, while the bone proportional distance from Qigu to navel was more than 8 cun, resulting in the ratio less than 9︰8. The bone proportional distance from suprasternal fossa to the middle point of xiphoid process was 9 cun, corresponding to the ratio of 9︰8 when comparing with the measurement from the middle point of xiphoid process to navel. CONCLUSION: The bone proportional distance measurement between two nipples and two coracoid processes of women should follow the 2006 national standard, and the bone proportional distance measurement from navel to superior margin of pubic symphysis should follow the standard of Miraculous Pivot: Gudu. The middle point of xiphisternal synchondrosis should be replaced by the middle point of xiphoid process.

PET with targeted radiotracers has become integral to mapping the location and burden of recurrent disease in patients with biochemical recurrence (BCR) of prostate cancer (PCa). PET with 11C-choline is part of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and European Association of Urology guidelines for evaluation of BCR. With advances in PET technology, increasing use of targeted radiotracers, and improved survival of patients with BCR because of novel therapeutics, atypical sites of metastases are being increasingly encountered, challenging the conventional view that prostate cancer rarely metastasizes beyond bones or lymph nodes. The purpose of this article is to describe such atypical metastases in the abdomen and pelvis on 11C-choline PET (including metastases to the liver, pancreas, genital tract, urinary tract, peritoneum, abdominal wall, and perineural spread) and to present multimodality imaging features and relevant imaging pitfalls. Given atypical metastases' inconsistent relationship with the serum PSA level and the nonspecific presenting symptoms, atypical metastases are often first detected on imaging. Awareness of their imaging features is important because their detection affects clinical management, patient counseling, prognosis, and clinical trial eligibility. Such awareness is particularly critical because the role of radiologists in the imaging and management of BCR will continue to increase given the expanding regulatory approvals of other targeted and theranostic radiotracers.

BACKGROUND: Testicular germ cell tumor (TGCT) incidence has increased in recent decades along with the use and dose of diagnostic radiation. Here we examine the association between reported exposure to diagnostic radiation and TGCT risk. METHODS: We conducted a case-control study of men with and without TGCT recruited from hospital- and population-based settings. Participants reported on exposures to 1) x-ray or CT below the waist and 2) lower GI series or barium enema, which consists of a series of x-rays of the colon. We also derived a combined measure of exposure. We used logistic regression to determine the risk of developing TGCT according to categories of exposures (0, 1-2, or ≥3 exposures) and age at first exposure, adjusting for age, year of birth, race, county, body mass index at diagnosis, family history of TGCT, and personal history of cryptorchidism. RESULTS: There were 315 men with TGCT and 931 men without TGCT in our study. Compared to no exposures, risk of TGCT was significantly elevated among those reporting at least three exposures to x-ray or CT (OR≥3 exposures, 1.78; 95% CI, 1.15-2.76; p = 0.010), lower GI series or barium enema (OR≥3 exposures, 4.58; 95% CI, 2.39-8.76; p<0.001), and the combined exposure variable (OR≥3 exposures, 1.59; 95% CI, 1.05-2.42; p = 0.029). The risk of TGCT was elevated for those exposed to diagnostic radiation at age 0-10 years, compared to those first exposed at age 18 years or later, although this association did not reach statistical significance (OR, 2.00; 95% CI, 0.91-4.42; p = 0.086). CONCLUSIONS: Exposure to diagnostic radiation below the waist may increase TGCT risk. If these results are validated, efforts to reduce diagnostic radiation doses to the testes should be prioritized.

BACKGROUND: Chylous ascites or chyloperitoneum can be caused by peroperative injury of the lymphatic pathways; the lymph is accumulated in the abdominal cavity. The incidence of chylous ascites varies according to the type of surgery and the extent of the lymphadenectomy. The first choice of treatment is a conservative procedure - total parenteral nutrition or a strict low-fat diet. If this fails, a surgical revision is indicated. However, this is often difficult due to postoperatively altered terrain and the chronic presence of pathological secretion in the abdominal cavity. The application of a fat emulsion or indocyanine green (ICG) to the lymphatic drainage area may help identify the lymph source. Nowadays, ICG is used in various clinical indications, e.g. evaluation of liver function, angiography in ophthalmology, assessment of blood supply to the tissues, search for lymph nodes in oncological surgeries. The advantage of ICG lymphography is the possibility of observing the source of the leak in real time directly during surgical revision. CASE REPORT: A polymorbid 66-year-old patient after radical oncogynaecological surgery with aortopelvic lymphadenectomy was postoperatively complicated by persistent, high-volume chylous ascites, not responding to conservative treatment. Therefore, we performed surgical revision of the abdominal cavity and successful treatment of the leak source using ICG peroperative lymphography and subsequent application of Vivostat autologous tissue glue to this area. CONCLUSION: High-volume consistent chylous ascites is not a frequent postoperative complication but it has a significant impact on the quality of life, nutritional status of the patient and further patient prognosis. The treatment is strictly individual. The first choice should be a conservative approach. Where that fails, a difficult surgical revision is indicated. Today, however, the surgeon can be helped by modern technologies such as fluorescent navigated surgery or treatment of the source with autologous tissue adhesives. Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (US) has become an important supplementary tool in many clinical applications in children. Contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography and intravenous US contrast agents have proved useful in routine clinical practice. Other applications of intracavitary contrast-enhanced US, particularly in children, have not been widely investigated but could serve as a practical and radiation-free problem-solver in several clinical settings. Intracavitary contrast-enhanced US is a real-time imaging modality similar to fluoroscopy with iodinated contrast agent. The US contrast agent solution is administered into physiological or non-physiological body cavities. There is no definitive list of established indications for intracavitary US contrast agent application. However, intracavitary contrast-enhanced US can be used for many clinical applications. It offers excellent real-time spatial resolution and allows for a more accurate delineation of the cavity anatomy, including the internal architecture of complex collections and possible communications within the cavity or with the surrounding structures through fistulous tracts. It can provide valuable information related to the insertion of catheters and tubes, and identify related complications such as confirming the position and patency of a catheter and identifying causes for drainage dysfunction or leakage. Patency of the ureter and biliary ducts can be evaluated, too. US contrast agent solution can be administered orally or a via nasogastric tube, or as an enema to evaluate the gastrointestinal tract. In this review we present potential clinical applications and procedural and dose recommendations regarding intracavitary contrast-enhanced ultrasonography.

BACKGROUND: Some patients complain that eating lettuce, gives them gas and abdominal distention. Our aim was to determine to what extent the patients' assertion is sustained by evidence. METHODS: An in vitro study measured the amount of gas produced during the process of fermentation by a preparation of human colonic microbiota (n = 3) of predigested lettuce, as compared to beans, a high gas-releasing substrate, to meat, a low gas-releasing substrate, and to a nutrient-free negative control. A clinical study in patients complaining of abdominal distention after eating lettuce (n = 12) measured the amount of intestinal gas and the morphometric configuration of the abdominal cavity in abdominal CT scans during an episode of lettuce-induced distension as compared to basal conditions. KEY RESULTS: Gas production by microbiota fermentation of lettuce in vitro was similar to that of meat (P = .44), lower than that of beans (by 78 ± 15%; P < .001) and higher than with the nutrient-free control (by 25 ± 19%; P = .05). Patients complaining of abdominal distension after eating lettuce exhibited an increase in girth (35 ± 3 mm larger than basal; P < .001) without significant increase in colonic gas content (39 ± 4 mL increase; P = .071); abdominal distension was related to a descent of the diaphragm (by 7 ± 3 mm; P = .027) with redistribution of normal abdominal contents. CONCLUSION AND INFERENCES: Lettuce is a low gas-releasing substrate for microbiota fermentation and lettuce-induced abdominal distension is produced by an uncoordinated activity of the abdominal walls. Correction of the somatic response might be more effective than the current dietary restriction strategy.

Professor GUO Yi learnt from several famous acupuncturists and develops his own manipulations based on his teachers' clinical thoughts and family manipulations. "Kongque Kaiping" is for cervical spondylosis and cerebrovascular diseases, etc, the description including Fengfu (GV 16), Fengchi (GB 20), Tianzhu (BL 10), Yifeng (TE 17) and Wangu (GB 12). "Qianlong Ruhai " is for the syndromes of hyperactivity of liver yang, upper heat and lower cold, and the acupoints are Taichong (LR 3), Xiangu (ST 43), Xiaxi (GB 43) and the point in the dorso-ventral boundary after fingerweb edge between the 3rd and 4th toes. "Shanyang Hupiao" can improve local loop and pharyngeal function with Lianquan (CV 23) and Panglianquan (Extra), 1 cun besides Lianquan (CV 23). The traditional manipulations of "Laolv Lamo" is for stomach and abdomen diseases with Zhongwan (CV 12) and Xiawan (CV 10) in abdomen, and professor GUO Yi believes that it can treat mental illness which is the same treatment for different diseases.

The role of loco-regional treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis using intraperitoneal chemotherapy is still investigated. Actually, new technologies are suitable for these procedures, especially a new hybrid system using CO2 called Peritoneal Recirculation System (PRS-1.0 Combat). A HIPEC procedure in a porcine model using the PRS system was conducted. The objective of experimentation was to assess the distribution of liquid inside the abdomen, by using methylene blue instead of chemotherapy. Moreover, we positioned six different thermal probes in different abdominal regions inside the abdomen to measure the temperature during procedure. During the procedure, all thermal probes recorded an average temperature of 41.5°. At the end of infusion, the abdomen was emptied and then opened; the tracer distribution was recorded. No technical problems were recorded during the procedure. Good distribution of tracer was recorded. More studies are needed to investigate better this new technology.

BACKGROUND: Although gastrointestinal involvement in patients with granulomatosis with polyangiitis is uncommon, it is associated with mild to severe life-threatening complications. We present a case of pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis in a patient with granulomatosis with polyangiitis that was treated successfully with hyperbaric oxygen. CASE PRESENTATION: A 70-year-old Japanese man with a 3-year history of granulomatosis with polyangiitis consulted our hospital with a complaint of severe back pain. Computed tomography showed a large amount of gas located in his bowel wall and mesentery. He underwent urgent exploratory laparotomy, which led to a diagnosis of pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis without intestinal perforation or necrosis. He consequently underwent 13 sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and was discharged from our hospital without complications. CONCLUSIONS: Several previous reports have supported the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen for treating pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis. The present case, however, is the first in which pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis in a patient with granulomatosis with polyangiitis was successfully treated with hyperbaric oxygen. We therefore suggest that hyperbaric oxygen therapy could be a candidate treatment for pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis in patients with granulomatosis with polyangiitis.

BACKGROUND: A rarely used technique for enabling closure of large ventral hernias with loss of domain is preoperative progressive pneumoperitoneum (PPP), which uses intermittent insufflation to gradually stretch the contracted abdominal wall muscles, increasing the capacity of the abdominal cavity. This allows the re-introduction of herniated viscera into the abdominal cavity and assists in closure of giant hernias which may otherwise be considered inoperable. METHODS: This was a prospective study assessing 16 patients between 2013 and 2015 with multi-recurrent ventral hernia. All patients were treated preoperatively with both Botulinum Toxin A (BTA) injections to the lateral abdominal wall muscles to confer flaccid paralysis, and short-term PPP to passively expand the abdominal cavity. All patients underwent serial abdominal CT imaging, with pre- and post-treatment circumference measurements of the peritoneal cavity and hernia sac, prior to undergoing operative mesh repair of their hernia. RESULTS: The mean hernia defect size was 236 cm2, with mean 28 % loss of domain. The mean overall duration of PPP was 6.2 days. The mean gain in abdominal circumference was 4.9 cm (5.6 %) (p 0.002) after BTA and PPP. Fascial closure and mesh hernia repair were performed in all 16 patients, with no patients suffering from postoperative abdominal hypertension, ventilatory impairment, or wound dehiscence. There are no hernia recurrences to date. Eight patients (50 %) experienced PPP-related complications, consisting of subcutaneous emphysema, pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum, pneumocardium, and metabolic acidosis. No complication required intervention. CONCLUSIONS: PPP is a useful adjunct in the repair of complex ventral hernia. It passively expands the abdominal cavity, allowing viscera to re-establish right of domain. At the same time, it helps to minimize the risks of postoperative abdominal compartment syndrome and the sequelae of fascial closure under tension. However, its benefits must be carefully weighed with the risk of serious complications, such as infection, perforation, pneumothorax, and pneumomediastinum.

The kidney is one of the most radiosensitive organs in the abdominal cavity and is the dose-limiting structure in cancer patients receiving abdominal or total body irradiation. In the present study, the effect of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) on radiation nephropathy was evaluated in rats. A total of 72 rats were equally randomized into 4 groups: Control, CoQ10, irradiation with 10 Gy (RT) + placebo, or RT + CoQ10. The 2 RT groups received single 10 Gy of abdominal irradiation. The 2 CoQ10 groups were supplemented daily with 1 mL of soybean oil containing 10 mg/kg of CoQ10. The RT + placebo and control groups received same dose of soybean oil. After 24 weeks, laboratory and histopathologic findings were compared. The 2 RT groups showed significant increases in blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine levels and significant pathologic changes such as glomerulosclerosis and tubulointerstitial fibrosis. CoQ10 supplementation resulted in significant reductions of BUN and creatinine levels compared with the RT + placebo group (P < 0.001 and P = 0.038, respectively). CoQ10 treatment significantly attenuated glomerular and tubular changes of irradiated kidney in semiquantitative analysis (P < 0.001 for both). Administration of CoQ10 can alleviate the radiation-induced nephropathy.

OBJECTIVES: Ovarian hormones have been shown to regulate body weight, intra-abdominal fat accumulation and plasma level of cytokines. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of estrogen replacement therapy on visceral adipose tissue, plasma level of apelin, lipid profiles, and glucose in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. METHODS: Thirty female Wistar rats were divided into OVX (n = 20) and sham (n = 10) groups. OVX rats were subdivided into estrogen replacement therapy (OVX+est; n = 10) receiving 17 β-estradiol valerates (30 µg/kg, s.c., 5 day/week, for eight weeks), and vehicle control group receiving sesame oil same as experiment group (OVX+ses oil; n = 10). After the treatments, all groups were sacrificed and blood samples were collected, visceral fats were taken from the abdominal cavity and weighed immediately. Apelin were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kits. Lipid profiles and glucose were measured using the enzymatic colorimetric method. Data were analyzed with one-way analysis of variance and (P < 0.05) determined as the statistical significance level. RESULTS: After eight weeks, body weight, body mass index (BMI), visceral fat, apelin and lipid profiles (P < 0.01) were increased significantly in OVX rats compared to sham group. Treatment with estrogen leads to significant reduction in body weight and BMI (P < 0.05), there was no significant change in serum apelin level in OVX+est rats compared to OVX+ses. CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that estradiol replacement therapy successfully attenuated some of the metabolic syndrome components, and apelin does not probably stand as a mediator of these physiological functions.

INTRODUCTION: Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is delivered after cytoreductive surgery (CRS) in selected patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis. The closed-abdomen technique, preferred by many centers, prevents heat loss and drug spillage, but does not warrant homogeneous distribution of the perfusion fluid (PF). The hypothesized formation of intra-abdominal adhesions during the closed-abdomen perfusion period has never been described. MATERIALS AND METHODS: From March 2014 to April 2016, 10 consecutive patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis, selected for CRS, underwent the Laparoscopy-Enhanced HIPEC technique to explore the abdominal cavity during the perfusion. The aim of the study was to investigate the incidence and the extent of intra-abdominal adhesions that are formed after CRS during the perfusion period of closed-abdomen HIPEC. RESULTS: During the perfusion, adhesions developed in 70% of the patients. Adhesions developed mainly in the period between the closure of the abdomen and the subsequent filling of the abdomen with the PF. After their first division, during the following perfusion period, adhesions between the bowel and the abdominal wall reformed in 3 patients (30%). CONCLUSIONS: Intra-abdominal adhesions are frequently formed during closed-abdomen HIPEC and can hamper the adequate circulation of the PF. The Laparoscopy-Enhanced technique enables the early detection and the division of any intra-abdominal adhesions.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the correlation between signs of living body in abdominal and pelvic cavities and syndrome typing of Chinese medicine (CM) in colorectal cancer patients. METHODS: Totally 112 colorectal cancer patients undergoing open abdominal surgery or laporoscopic surgery were syndrome typed as five types, i.e., inner-accumulation of damp and heat, blockage of stasis and toxin, Pi-Shen yang deficiency, blood-qi deficiency, Gan-Shen yin deficiency. Signs of living body in abdominal and pelvic cavities were collected. The correlation between signs of living body in abdominal and pelvic cavities and syndrome typing of CM were analyzed. RESULTS: Red colorectal canals or mass were dominated in colorectal cancer patients with inner-accumulation of damp and heat syndrome. Dark purple colorectal canals or mass were dominated in colorectal cancer patients with blockage of stasis and toxin syndrome. Reddish colorectal canals or mass were dominated in colorectal cancer patients with blood-qi deficiency syndrome. Pale colorectal canals or mass were dominated in colorectal cancer patients with Pi-Shen yang deficiency syndrome. Whitish or red-white stripes were dominated in colorectal cancer patients with Gan-Shen yin deficiency syndrome. Dropsy colorectal canal was associated with Pi-Shen yang deficiency syndrome. Intracavitary effusion was often seen in colorectal cancer patients with inner-accumulation of damp and heat syndrome. The effusion was yellowish in less amount. Intracavitary adhesion was often seen in colorectal cancer patients with blockage of stasis and toxin syndrome. There was no correlation between the maximum diameter of mass or each syndrome type of CM. CONCLUSION: There existed correlation between signs of living body in abdominal and pelvic cavities and syndrome typing of CM, which could be taken as one of references for syndrome typing of colorectal cancer patients.
