RESUMEN

The health system in today's real world is significant but difficult and overcrowded. These hurdles can be diminished using improved health record management and blockchain technology. These technologies can handle medical data to provide security by monitoring and maintaining patient records. The processing of medical data and patient records is essential to analyze the earlier prescribed medicines and to understand the severity of diseases. Blockchain technology can improve the security, performance, and transparency of sharing the medical records of the current healthcare system. This paper proposed a novel framework for personal health record (PHR) management using IBM cloud data lake and blockchain platform for an effective healthcare management process. The problem in the blockchain-based healthcare management system can be minimized with the utilization of the proposed technique. Significantly, the traditional blockchain system usually decreases the latency. Therefore, the proposed technique focuses on improving latency and throughput. The result of the proposed system is calculated based on various matrices, such as F1 Score, Recall, and Confusion matrices. Therefore, the proposed work scored high accuracy and provided better results than existing techniques.

RESUMEN

In today's digital world, information is exchanged among various sources, and it is expected that each interaction or transaction among the sources must be reliable and secure. In these circumstances, blockchain technology can be applied to ensure healthcare data security in an efficient way. Blockchain is an ordered list of records linked together through a chain of blocks in a distributed ledger. It is a decentralized and tamper-proof database system. It can be used to store the medical records of patients and play a vital role in healthcare to maintain and share medical data securely. At present, many scholars are focusing on the privacy and security in electronic health record (EHR) sharing based on blockchain technology. But still, the security of health data plays a significant challenge. A Cognitive Approach blockchain-based cryptographic curve hash signature (BC-CCHS) technique is proposed to secure patients' medical records and share their personal health data safely and conveniently. The proposed approach is carried out in the Hyperledger framework. Here, several phases like registration, authentication, uploading, and requesting are involved in enhancing the security mechanism. The proposed methodology is experimentally tested and validated with the existing techniques regarding encryption time, decryption time, throughput, delay, and overall processing time.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of long-term administration of a commonly prescribed antidepressant, fluoxetine from different group on memory and psychomotor functions in patients of various psychiatric disorders using a battery of simple tests that can be conveniently applied to the Indian population. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Memory was evaluated using the PGI memory scale and psychomotor functions were evaluated using six letter cancellation test. Statistical analysis was carried out using Wilcoxon signed-rank test. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The results of the study reveal that there was significant improvement in some cognitive function. Cognitive functions are improved at first follow-up and they improved continuously up to last follow-up that is at one month. It is observed that there was improvement in the primary disease. So, final score of the cognitive parameters is because of the resultant activity of direct drug action and improvement in the underlying disease.
