RESUMO

Cellulosic paper-based electrode materials have attracted increasing attention in the field of flexible supercapacitor. As a conductive polymer, polyaniline exhibits high theoretical pseudocapacitive capacitance and has been applied in paper-based electrode materials along with cellulose fibers. However, the stacking of polyaniline usually leads to poor performance of electrodes. In this study, metal-organic coordination polymers of zirconium-alizarin red S and zirconium-phytic acid are applied to modulate the polyaniline layer to obtain high-performance cellulosic paper-based electrode materials. Zirconium hydroxide is firstly loaded on cellulose fibers while alizarin red S and phytic acid are introduced to regulate the morphology of polyaniline through doping and coordination processes. The results show that the introduction of dual coordination polymers is effective to regulate the morphology of polyaniline on cellulose fibers. The performances of the paper-based electrode materials, including electrical conductivity and electrochemistry, are apparently improved. It provides a promising strategy for the potential development of economical and green electrode materials in the conventional paper-making process.

RESUMO

In the field of microplastics research, more accurate standardised methods and analytical techniques still need to be explored. In this study, a new method for the microplastics quantitatively and qualitatively analysis by two-phase (ethyl acetate-water) system combined with confocal Raman spectroscopy was developed. Microplastics can be separated from false-positive microplastics in beach sand and marine sediment, attributing to the hydrophobic-lipophilic interaction (HLI) of the two-phase system. Results show that the recovery rates of complex environment microplastics (polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyamide 66 (PA 66), polycarbonate (PC) and polyethylene (PE)) are higher than 92.98%. Moreover, the new technique can also be used to detect hydrophobic and lipophilic antibiotics, such as sulfamethoxazole (SMX), erythromycin (EM), madimycin (MD), and josamycin (JOS), which adsorbed on microplastics and are extracted based on the dissolving-precipitating mechanism. This innovative research strategy provides a new scope for further detection of marine environment microplastics and toxic compounds adsorbed on its surface.

RESUMO

To reduce the side effect of paclitaxel and enhance accumulation at the tumor site, a novel redox-responsive nanovector with excellent biocompatibility based on disulfide-linked amphiphilic polymer and magnetic nanoparticle was prepared. The system would realize PTX release due to breakage of the disulfide bond when being targeted to the tumor site by the external magnetic field. The nanovector significantly improved endocytosis and enhanced accumulation at the tumor site, with an effective inhibition of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo.

RESUMO

In this work, using an agricultural waste of sugarcane bagasse, new biomass of magnetic sugarcane bagasse activated carbon (MSBAC) has been successfully prepared by a simple microwave method. The composition and structure of MSBAC were characterised by SEM, XRD, BET, and FT-IR. It was found that MSBAC was a mesoporous material with a loose structure and rough surface, and it had a high specific surface area. The pHPZC was 4.1, and MSBAC presented a greater amount of acid functional groups than basic groups, making it efficient for adsorption of cationic dye. To study the adsorption ability of MSBAC, methylene blue (MB) was selected as sample pollutant. Effects of pH, MSBAC dosage, initial MB concentration, temperature, time on the adsorption of MB, and the possibility of regeneration of MSBAC were investigated. The adsorption results showed that the maximum adsorption capacity was 36.14 mg·g-1, and the pH had no significant effect on the MB adsorption in the range of 2-10. The equilibrium data fitted Langmuir isotherm, and the adsorption kinetic data obeyed pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The adsorption process involving the surface diffusion and film diffusion. The positive value of ΔH revealed the adsorption behaviour was an endothermic process. The salt concentration had a negative effect on MB removal. MSBAC had a good magnetic separation performance. The used MSBAC could be regenerated by a simple calcination method under the temperature of 300℃ for 30 min.

RESUMO

A novel dual-template molecularly imprinted polymer (DMIP) was prepared with atrazine and prometryn as the template and applied as a class-specific adsorbent for simultaneously selective solid-phase extraction of seventeen triazine herbicides and metabolites from complex matrices. For comparison, a non-imprinted polymer (NIP) and two single-template imprinted polymers (SMIPs) were also synthesized using the same procedure of DMIP, but in the absence of the template (NIP) or with one template (SMIP). Various parameters affecting the extraction performance of DMIP-SPE were investigated in detail. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment efficiency, class-selectivity and reusability of DMIP-SPE were evaluated. Only DMIP-SPE possessed high affinity and good selective recognition ability for all the seventeen targets including chloro-, thiomethyl- and methoxy- triazines. Further, a DMIP-SPE-LC-MS/MS method was developed for simultaneously determining trace triazine herbicides and metabolites in maize, wheat and cottonseed samples. The method showed good linearity (r>0.9941) in the range of 10-200 µg kg-1, high sensitivity with low limits of detection of 0.5-8.8 µg kg-1, and satisfactory recoveries of 61.3-105.9% with relative standard deviations of 2.1-10.7%. These results highlighted the good application prospect of the multi/dual-template imprinting strategy in the high-throughput analysis of various concerned contaminants in agro-products.
