ABSTRACT

Vibriosis is one of the most serious diseases that commonly occurs in aquatic animals, thus, shaping a steady inherited resistance trait in organisms has received the highest priority in aquaculture. Whereas, the mechanisms underlying the development of such a resistance trait are mostly elusive. In this study, we constructed vibriosis-resistant and susceptible families of the Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei after four generations of artificial selection. Microbiome sequencing indicated that shrimp can successfully develop a colonization resistance trait against Vibrio infections. This trait was characterized by a microbial community structure with specific enrichment of a single probiotic species (namely Shewanella algae), and notably, its formation was inheritable and might be memorized by host epigenetic remodeling. Regardless of the infection status, a group of genes was specifically activated in the resistant family through disruption of complete methylation. Specifically, hypo-methylation and hyper-expression of genes related to lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and iron homeostasis might provide rich sources of specific carbon (lactate) and ions for the colonization of S. algae, which directly results in the reduction of Vibrio load in shrimp. Lactate feeding increased the survival of shrimp, while knockdown of LDH gene decreased the survival when shrimp was infected by Vibrio pathogens. In addition, treatment of shrimp with the methyltransferase inhibitor 5-azacytidine resulted in upregulations of LDH and some protein processing genes, significant enrichment of S. algae, and simultaneous reduction of Vibrio in shrimp. Our results suggest that the colonization resistance can be memorized as epigenetic information by the host, which has played a pivotal role in vibriosis resistance. The findings of this study will aid in disease control and the selection of superior lines of shrimp with high disease resistance.

ABSTRACT

Both HIV and DENV are serious threats to human life, health and social economy today. So far, no vaccine for either HIV or DENV has been developed successfully. The research on anti-HIV or DENV drugs is still of great significance. In this study we developed a series of novel 2-Aryl-1H-pyrazole-S-DABOs with C6-strucutral optimizations as potent NNRTIs, among which, 8 compounds had low cytotoxicity and EC50 values in the range of 0.0508 âˆ¼ 0.0966 µM, and their selectivity index was SI > 1415 âˆ¼ 3940. In particular, two compounds 4a and 4b were identified to have good inhibitory effects on DENV of four serotypes. The EC50 of compound 4a and 4b against DENV-II (13.2 µM and 9.23 µM, respectively) were better than that of the positive control ribavirin (EC50 = 40.78 µM). In addition, the effect of C-6 substituents on the anti-HIV or anti-DENV activity of these compounds was also discussed.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: In the current study, we applied a combination of non-invasive neuromodulation modalities concurrently with multiple stimulating electrodes. Specifically, we used transcranial pulsed current stimulation (tPCS) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) as a novel strategy for improving lower limb spasticity in children with spastic cerebral palsy (SCP) categorized on levels III-V of the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) with minimal side effects. METHODS: Sixty-three SCP children aged 2-12 years, who were classified on levels III-V of the GMFCS were randomly assigned to one of two groups, resulting in 32 children in the experimental group and 31 children in the control group. The experimental group underwent a combination therapy of tPCS (400 Hz, 1 mA cerebello-cerebral stimulation) and TENS (400 Hz, max 10 mA) for 30 min, followed by 30 min of physiotherapy five times per week for 12 weeks. The control group underwent physiotherapy only 30 mins per day five times per week for 12 weeks. In total, all groups underwent 60 treatment sessions. The primary outcome measures were the Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) and Modified Tardieu Scale (MTS). Evaluations were performed 3 days before and after treatment. RESULTS: We found a significant improvement in MAS and MTS scores of the lower limbs in the experimental group compared to the control group in the hip adductors (Left: p = 0.002; Right: p = 0.002), hamstrings (Left: p = 0.001; Right: p < 0.001, and gastrocnemius (Left: p = 0.001; Right: p = 0.000). Moreover, MTS scores of R1, R2 and R2-R1 in left and right hip adduction, knee joint, and ankle joint all showed significant improvements (p ≤ 0.05). Analysis of MAS and MTS scores compared to baseline scores showed significant improvements in the experimental group but declines in the control group. CONCLUSION: These results are among the first to demonstrate that a combination of tPCS and TENS can significantly improve lower limb spasticity in SCP children classified on GMFCS levels III-V with minimal side effects, presenting a novel strategy for addressing spasticity challenges in children with severe SCP. ABSTRACT

This study focuses on analyzing the physicochemical properties, structural characteristics and dominant epitopes of Brucella outer membrane protein 2b (Omp2b), periplasmic binding protein (P39) and Brucella lumazine synthase (BLS) proteins by bioinformatics methods, and to provide a theoretical basis for constructing multi-epitope vaccines. The amino acid sequences of three kinds of proteins were obtained from the UniProt database. The highest frequency alleles in northern China were obtained from the AlleleFrequencies database. Analysis of the physicochemical properties of the proteins by ProtParam online software. Analysis of the secondary structure of the proteins were predicted by SOMPA online software. Using SWISS-MODEL online software constructed and analyzed the tertiary structure of the proteins. Using ABCpred, BepiPred, BCPred and SVMTrip online software analyzed linear B cell epitopes of proteins, The T cell dominant epitope of the protein was analyzed using SYFPEITHI, RANKPEP and IEDB online software. Omp2b was identified three linear B cell dominant epitopes, five CD8+ T cell dominant epitopes, and three CD4+ T cell dominant epitopes. P39 was identified three linear B cell dominant epitopes, two CD8+ T cell dominant epitopes, and two CD4+ T cell dominant epitopes. BLS was identified one linear B cell dominant epitope, one CD8+ T cell dominant epitope, and two CD4+ T cell dominant epitopes. The results indicated that epitope prediction of three Brucella vaccine candidate proteins can provide a theoretical basis for the construction of an ideal multivalent epitope vaccine against Brucella.

ABSTRACT

The enantiomeric separation of the enantiomers of three phenylpyrazole pesticides (fipronil, flufiprole, ethiprole) and two fipronil metabolites (amide-fipronil and acid-fipronil) were investigated by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with a CHIRALPAK® IB chiral column. The mobile phase was n-hexane or petroleum ether with 2-propanol or ethanol as modifier at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The influences of mobile phase composition and column temperature between 15 and 35°C on the separations were studied. All the analytes except ethiprole obtained complete enantiomeric separation after chromatographic condition optimization. Fipronil, flufiprole, amide-fipronil, and acid-fipronil obtained complete separation with the best resolution factors of 2.40, 3.40, 1.67, and 16.82, respectively, but ethiprole showed no enantioselectivity under the optimized conditions. In general, n-hexane with 2-propanol gave better separations in most cases. The results showed decreasing temperature and content of modifier in the mobile phase resulted in better separation and longer analysis time as well. The thermodynamic parameters calculated according to linear the Van't Hoff equation indicated the chiral separations in the study were enthalpy-driven. Fipronil and its two chiral hydrolyzed metabolites obtained baseline separation simultaneously under optimized conditions.

ABSTRACT

Protein kinase A (PKA)/cAMP response element-binding (CREB) protein signaling pathway, contributing to impaired neurogenesis parallel to depressive-like behaviors, has been identified as the crucial factor involved in the antidepressant response of acupuncture. However, the molecular mechanisms associated with antidepressant response of acupuncture, neurogenesis, and depressive-like behaviors ameliorating remain unexplored. The objective was to identify the mechanisms underlying the antidepressant response of acupuncture through PKA signaling pathway in depression rats by employing the PKA signaling pathway inhibitor H89 in in vivo experiments. Our results indicated that the expression of hippocampal PKA-α and p-CREB was significantly downregulated by chronic unpredicted mild stress (CUMS) procedures. Importantly, acupuncture reversed the downregulation of PKA-α and p-CREB. The expression of PKA-α was upregulated by fluoxetine, but not p-CREB. No significant difference was found between Acu and FLX groups on the expression of PKA-α and p-CREB. Interestingly, H89 inhibited the effects of acupuncture or fluoxetine on upregulating the expression of p-CREB, but not PKA-α. There was no significant difference in expression of CREB among the groups. Conclusively, our findings further support the hypothesis that acupuncture could ameliorate depressive-like behaviors by regulating PKA/CREB signaling pathway, which might be mainly mediated by regulating the phosphorylation level of CREB.

ABSTRACT

The classification and the regulatory requirement among U.S., E.U., Japan and China were summarized and compared for the immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization products. The results indicate that:the regulatory classifications of the related products are higher in Japan and China, than U.S.and E.U.; the classification and regulatory requirement are adjusted more flexibly in the centralized system. The difference was discussed and accordingly some suggestions and implications were given for the China's regulation.

ABSTRACT

Pyriproxyfen is a chiral insecticide, and over 10 metabolites have been identified in the environment. In this work the separations of the enantiomers of pyriproxyfen and its six chiral metabolites were studied by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Both normal phase and reverse phase were applied using the chiral columns Chiralpak IA, Chiralpak IB, Chiralpak IC, Chiralcel OD, Chiralcel OD-RH, Chiralpak AY-H, Chiralpak AD-H, Chiracel OJ-H, (R,R)-Whelk-O 1, and Lux Cellulose-3. The effects of the chromatographic parameters such as mobile phase composition and temperature on the separations were investigated and the enantiomers were identified with an optical rotation detector. The enantiomers of these targets could obtain complete separations (resolution factor Rs > 1.5) on Chiralpak IA, Chiralpak IB, Chiralcel OD, Chiralpak AY-H, or Chiracel OJ-H under normal conditions. Chiralcel OJ-H showed the best chiral separation results with n-hexane as mobile phase and isopropanol (IPA) as modifier. The simultaneous enantiomeric separation of pyriproxyfen and four chiral metabolites was achieved on Chiralcel OJ-H under optimized condition: n-hexane/isopropanol = 80/20, 15°C, flow rate of 0.8 ml/min, and UV detection at 230 nm. The enantiomers of pyriproxyfen and the metabolites , , and obtained complete separations on Chiralpak IA, Chiralpak IC, and Lux Cellulose-3 under reverse phase using acetonitrile/water as the mobile phase. The retention factors (k) and selectivity factors (α) decreased with increasing temperature, and the separations were better under low temperature in most cases. The work is of significance for the investigation of the environmental behaviors of pyriproxyfen on an enantiomeric level.

ABSTRACT

A sophisticated regulatory framework has been constructed for Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) diagnostics in China, which have developed over the past 30 years. China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control acts as the legal institution in this regulatory framework, launching important activities to ensure the quality of HIV diagnostics. These include the analysis of the main problems faced in developing domestic HIV diagnostics, by investigating the quality of HIV diagnostics and their development; exploring the key factors affecting the quality of HIV diagnostics, to determine the criteria for screening national reference samples; the development of new technologies and methods for preparing reference samples; and the establishment of nine types of national reference panels and nine national standards to evaluate the quality of HIV diagnostics. Based on these researches, a quality evaluation system was established, including nine types of national reference panels, nine national standards for HIV diagnostics, and five sample banks (HIV-positive sample bank, HIV-negative sample bank, common international genotype sample bank, seroconversion series sample bank, HIV virus bank) to evaluate the quality of HIV diagnostics in China. The regulatory framework and the quality evaluation system are pivotal in ensuring the quality of the HIV diagnostics licensed in China.

BACKGROUND: The extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathway is considered to be associated with the pathogenesis and treatment of depression. Acupuncture has been demonstrated to ameliorate depression-related behavior and promote neurogenesis. In this study, we explored the role of the ERK signaling pathway in the antidepressant-like effects of acupuncture in rats exposed to chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS). METHODS: Eighty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into eight groups: control group, model group, model + Acupuncture group (Acu group), model + fluoxetine group (FLX group), model + DMSO group (DMSO group), model + PD98059 group (PD group), model + Acupuncture + PD98059 group (Acu + PD group) and model + fluoxetine + PD98059 group (FLX + PD group). Except for the control group, all rats were subjected to 3 weeks of CUMS protocols to induce depression. Acupuncture was carried out for 10 min at acupoints of Baihui (GV-20) and Yintang (GV-29) each day during the experimental procedure. The ERK signaling pathway was inhibited using PD98059 through intracerebroventricular injection. The depression-like behaviors were evaluated using the sucrose intake and open-field tests. The protein levels of ERK1/2, phosphor (p)-ERK1/2, cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB), p-CREB and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the hippocampus were examined using western blot. RESULTS: Acupuncture ameliorated the depression-like behaviors and dysfunction of the ERK signaling pathway in the hippocampus of CUMS rats. PD98059 pretreatment inhibited the improvements brought about by acupuncture on the ERK signaling pathway. CONCLUSIONS: Taken together, our results indicated that acupuncture had a significant antidepressant-like effect on CUMS-induced depression model rats, and the ERK signaling pathway was implicated in this effect.

Efficient gene transfer is a critical goal in retroviral transduction. Several peptides capable of forming amyloid fibrils, such as the 39-residue semen-derived infection-enhancing peptide (SEVI), have demonstrated the ability to boost retroviral gene delivery. Here, a 13-residue peptide P13 (Ac-(671) NWFDITNWLWYIK(683)) derived from the membrane-proximal external region of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) gp41 transmembrane protein, together with its 16-residue peptide derivative (P16) were found to enhance HIV-1 infection significantly. Both peptides, P13 and P16, could form amyloid fibril structures to potently enhance HIV-1 infectivity. Further investigations showed that both aromatic Trp residues and cationic Lys residues contributed to the enhancement of HIV-1 infection by these two active peptides. P16 could more effectively augment HIV-1 YU-2 infection than SEVI, implying its potential applications as a tool in the lab to improve gene transfer rates.

ABSTRACT

Chronic infection induced by immune tolerance to hepatitis B virus (HBV) is one of the most common causes of hepatic cirrhosis and hepatoma. Fortunately, the application of therapeutic vaccine can not only reverse HBV-tolerance, but also serve a potentially effective therapeutic strategy for treating chronic hepatitis B (CHB). However, the clinical effect of the currently developed CHB therapeutic vaccine is not optimistic due to the weak immunogenicity. Given that the human leukocyte antigen CTLA-4 owns strong binding ability to the surface B7 molecules (CD80 and CD86) of antigen presenting cell (APCs), the immunoglobulin variable region of CTLA-4 (IgV_CTLA-4) was fused with the L protein of HBV to contrive a novel therapeutic vaccine (V_C4HBL) for CHB in this study. We found that the addition of IgV_CTLA-4 did not interfere with the formation of L protein T cell and B cell epitopes after analysis by means of immunoinformatics approaches. Meanwhile, we also found that the IgV_CTLA-4 had strong binding force to B7 molecules through molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Notably, our vaccine V_C4HBL showed good immunogenicity and antigenicity by in vitro and in vivo experiments. Therefore, the V_C4HBL is promising to again effectively activate the cellular and humoral immunity of CHB patients, and provides a potentially effective therapeutic strategy for the treatment of CHB in the future.Communicated by Ramaswamy H. ABSTRACT

All organisms have a biological clock system which is strongly tied to how well an organism digests food and develops. This study aimed to understand the effects of circadian rhythm and feeding modes on rumen fermentation and microorganisms in Hu sheep. Forty-five healthy Hu sheep were randomly divided into three treatment groups of 15 sheep in each group, wherein they were fed the same concentrate and roughage. Under the condition that the nutrient-feeding amount was consistent throughout the day, the concentrate-to-forage ratio was dynamically adjusted during the day and night. Rumen fluid collected after the feeding experiment was used to determine the study parameters; the results showed a connection between rumen fermentation and the circadian clock. Volatile fatty acids (VFAs), pH, and NH3-N were significantly influenced by the fermentation duration (p < 0.05). The activities of digestive enzymes also showed a relationship with nutrition and circadian rhythm, and there were differences in the digestive enzyme activities of amylase, lipase, and cellulase (p < 0.05). Dominant microorganisms, such as Saccharomycetes and Mucor, were more abundant in the daytime of the high-concentrate fed group. The correlation among the study objectives was evident from the differences in enzyme activity and microbial diversity among the treatment groups. On the basis of the circadian rhythm characteristics of Hu sheep, changes in the feeding mode of Hu sheep and only adjusting the proportion of concentrate and forage in the morning and evening showed that feeding diets with the high-concentrate ratio in the day significantly reduced rumen PH and increased NH3-N concentration (p < 0.05). Under this feeding pattern, the activities of major digestive enzymes in the rumen, such as amylase and lipase, were significantly increased (p < 0.05), and the microbial diversity was also improved.

ABSTRACT

Triclocarban (TCC), a bactericide widely used in personal care products, is frequently detected in soil and surface water, which may affect the environmental behavior of other environmental pollutants by changing the community structure of environmental microorganisms. This work evaluated the effects of TCC on the degradation and migration of seven herbicides and five fungicides in soil under co-occurrence conditions. TCC significantly increased the persistence of the pesticides in soil, and this effect increased with TCC concentration. For example, the half-life of metolachlor, atrazine, metribuzin, and metamitron increased 44%, 38%, 153%, and 33%, respectively, with 10 mg/kg TCC and increased 60%-640% with 100 mg/kg TCC. After 90 days, the residue of the pesticides in soil treated with TCC was significantly elevated relative to the control. TCC treatment could also increase the potential leaching risk of the herbicides in the soil, as indicated by an increased Groundwater Ubiquity Score (GUS) index. The reduced abundance of soil bacteria by TCC might be an essential reason for the impacts on the environmental behavior of the pesticides. This study confirmed that TCC could slow down the degradation of pesticides in soil, increase their persistence and even affect the leaching behavior, thus influencing the risks of the pesticides to the environment.

ABSTRACT

The rationally-designed lignocellulose valorization that promotes a novel "waste-treats-pollutant" standpoint is highly desired yet still challenging for the spread of biomass industry. At this point, a cascade technique with the assistance of deep eutectic solvent (DES) fractionation is tailored to dually valorize wheat straw into fluorescent lignin carbon dots (LCDs) and bimetallic Mg-Fe oxide-decorated biochar (MBC) via solvothermal engineering and co-precipitation/pyrolysis respectively. Benefitting from the abundance of ß-aryl ether and hydroxyl groups in DES-extracted lignin, the photoluminescence LCDs emit blue color in a wide excitation span, which can be adopted to selectively detect ferric ions (Fe3+) in a broad dosage scale with a highly linear correlation of 10-50 µM. Taking advantages of the MBC-aided persulfate activation, we propose the efficient arbidol removal system with a universal concentration of 20-200 ppm in the scalable pH ranging from 3 to 11. The dominate migration pathways involving with active oxygen species and surface electron transfer are comprehensively studied via electron paramagnetic resonance, radical-quenching experiments, and theoretical arithmetic. With the endeavor of biorefineries, this full-scale platform ignites the dazzling wildfire from dual lignocellulose valorization that will also seek its accurate position in the kingdoms of functional materials and wastewater restoration.

ABSTRACT

In this work, the stereoselective degradation of prothioconazole in five soils was investigated and the metabolite prothioconazole-desthio was determined. The effects of prothioconazole on soil enzymes activities and microbial community were also studied. The dissipation of prothioconazole fitted with a first-order kinetic equation with half-lives ranging from 3.45 to 9.90 days. In addition, R-prothioconazole degraded preferentially than S-prothioconazole in all soils with EF values >0.5. Prothioconazole-desthio formed rapidly with preference in R-enantiomer, and the concentration kept at a considerable level even at the end of the incubation, indicating it was relatively persistent in soil. Prothioconazole and its metabolite inhibited the activity of dehydrogenase, catalase and urease in soils, and could affect the diversity of the soil microbiota as well. Redundancy analysis (RDA) and Spearman analysis showed the abundance of Proteobacteria, Fusobacteria, Firmicutes, Thaumarchaeota, Saccharibacteria, Chloroflexi, Chlorobi, Actinobacteria and Nitrospirae might be related to the enantioselective degradation. The work was helpful for understanding the environmental behavior of the fungicide prothioconazole and its primary metabolite on an enantiomeric level.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To observe the outcomes of cataract surgery in ocular cicatricial pemphigoid (OCP) patients and explore routine perioperative medical treatments. Design: Retrospective case series. Methods: Fourteen eyes of 8 patients were included in the study. Foster's stage 1-4 OCP patients were given human intravenous immunoglobulin, whereas patients with active inflammation were treated with prednisone tablets and methotrexate. Those who were intolerant to methotrexate and had severe inflammatory symptoms were treated with cyclophosphamide. Cataract surgery was performed for all patients after three months of systemic treatment under stable conditions. The conjunctival biopsy was evaluated by immunofluorescence microscopy. Then, patients were divided into individuals with or without ankyloblepharon. Records were reviewed for OCP stage, type of surgery, best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), Schirmer I test, corneal fluorescein sodium staining, meibomian gland coloboma range, and ocular surface disease index (OSDI) scores. Follow-up was for the duration of taking topical and systemic medication. Results: Nine female (64.29%) and 4 male (35.71%) eyes were diagnosed with OCP by biopsy. The mean follow-up time was 60.64 ± 35.62 months. Thirteen eyes (92.86%) of 7 patients underwent phacoemulsification. One eye underwent phacoemulsification combined with amniotic membrane transplantation. The intracapsular extraction of cataract was applied to one eye. The BCVA improved significantly in all the patients, which remained stable until the last follow-up. The Schirmer I test was higher than that before the surgery. Corneal fluorescein sodium staining after surgery showed a decrease in score compared to the preoperative score. The BCVA of the patients after surgery increased significantly. The OSDI scores of patients with ankyloblepharon were significantly higher than for those without it. Postoperative symblepharon showed no significant difference compared to the preoperative symblepharon. Conclusions: In this series, OCP patients with cataracts were able to undergo phacoemulsification surgery, whereas routine use of immunosuppression and closed postoperative follow-up were necessary.

ABSTRACT

Background: The SPF10 LiPA-25 system for human papillomavirus (HPV) detection with high analytical performance is widely used in HPV vaccine clinical trials. To develop and evaluate more valent HPV vaccines, other comparable methods with simpler operations are needed. Methods: The performance of the LiPA-25 against that of other 7 assays, including 4 systems based on reverse hybridization (Bohui-24, Yaneng-23, Tellgen-27, and Hybribio-16) and 3 real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays (Hybribio-23, Bioperfectus-21, and Sansure-26), was evaluated in selected 1726 cervical swab and 56 biopsy samples. A total of 15 HPV genotypes (HPV 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, and 66) were considered for comparison for each HPV type. Results: Among the swab samples, compared to LiPA-25, compatible genotypes were observed in 94.1% of samples for Hybribio-23, 92.8% for Yaneng-23, 92.6% for Bioperfectus-21, 92.4% for Hybribio-16, 91.3% for Sansure-26, 89.7% for Bohui-24, and 88.0% for Tellgen-27. The highest overall agreement of the 15 HPV genotypes combined was noted for Hybribio-23 (κ = 0.879, McNemar's test: P = 0.136), followed closely by Hybribio-16 (κ = 0.877, P< 0.001), Yaneng-23 (κ = 0.871, P < 0.001), Bioperfectus-21 (κ = 0.848, P < 0.001), Bohui-24 (κ = 0.847, P < 0.001), Tellgen-27 (κ = 0.831, P < 0.001), and Sansure-26 (κ = 0.826, P < 0.001). Additionally, these systems were also highly consistent with LiPA-25 for biopsy specimens (all, κ > 0.897). Conclusions: The levels of agreement for the detection of 15 HPV types between other 7 assays and LiPA-25 were all good, and Hybribio-23 was most comparable to LiPA-25. The testing operation of HPV genotyping should also be considered for vaccine and epidemiological studies.

ABSTRACT

Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are considered to be critical for the induction of transplant tolerance. Tregs counts were measured in blood, biopsy and urine sample after transplantation in many studies. Although not unanimous, some studies have suggested that Tregs is associated with better outcome and can also serve as an immune marker to predict the individual risk of rejection and identify tolerant patients. In this study, we systematically reviewed the correlation between Tregs and transplant outcomes, identifying if Tregs can predict transplant rejection and tolerance. A total of 22 articles were included and assessed, the results showed that Tregs in recipients are helpful to maintain a stable graft function, reduce acute/chronic rejection rate. And the Tregs in graft and urine, rather than in PBL, may have a better diagnostic value for transplant outcomes. However, since the low quality of included studies, results may be influenced by bias. More high quality studies with bigger sample size are still needed in future.
