ABSTRACT
The Regional Seismic Surveillance Center (C.R.S.S.) is a division of Regione Campania Scientific Research Department, whose main aim is to study and monitor the seismic and volcanic activity, and the related risks, within the regional territory. The C.R.S.S. works since October 1992 and, at present, is installing two main real-time monitoring networks the Seismic Surveillance Network and the Geochemical and Geodetic Surveillance Network. Another fundamental point of its program is the realization of a Telematic Data-Bank, in order to achieve the widest spreading of the research results and two diffuse a self-protection culture against seismic and volcanic risks.(AU)
