RESUMEN

Effects were studied of extremely high-frequency electromagnetic radiation (EHF EMR) on indices for the immune and endocrine systems in a series of 48 patients presenting with hyperplastic processes in endometrium. EHF EMR-related normalization of values for the above systems was found out to take place together with a return of correlations back to normal, which fact makes it possible to use this modality as an immunocorrective factor.

RESUMEN

Based on the findings obtained a conclusion was reached that cryosurgery is a worth-while exercise in patients of child-bearing age as a method enabling the menstrual function to be preserved. Electrodestruction of endometrium is to be targeted to patients of perimenopausal age to achieve amenorrhea. The aim of the above policy of managing patients is to enhance efficacy of treatment of hyperplastic processes in endometrium.

RESUMEN

The combined hyperplastical endometrial processes are very common pathology. In spite of noticeable achievements in hormonotherapy to treat the above trouble the recurrence rate comes up to as high as 45%. The recurrent combined hyperplastical endometrial processes prophylaxis with making use of the intrauterine system with levonorgestrel "Mirena" has been shown to be effective, with the above-mentioned system having been inserted on completion of the 6-month course of treatment with orgametryl.

RESUMEN

A total of 16 women with endometriosis 25 to 36 years old were examined. Of these, 6 presented with primary infertility, 10--with secondary intertility, 7 female patients had endometriosis concurrent with other localizations. The treatment was with duphaston (dydrogesteron), 10 mg (5 mg twice a day) beginning from day 5 till 25 of the menstrual cycle for 6 months. The control echography and hysteroscopy permitted ascertaining regression of endometrioid foci in 13 female patients. According to the histological findings in 15 women the endometrium corresponded to the proliferative phase of the menstrual cycle, with its focal hyperplasia having been noted in 1 woman. Efficacy of treatment aimed to return the reproductive function back to normal was assessed in 14 female patients. The pregnancy incidence after the treatment came up to 56.7% (9 women). Thus, duphaston is an effective drug that can be recommended for treating endometriosis in those women at reproductive age presenting with infertility.

RESUMEN

Immunological aspects are highlighted of origination and course of chronic inflammatory process. The presented data show that a chronic inflammatory process originates and is maintained at the expense of disturbances in one or several components of the immune system realizing defence of the body against infections, and if these failures are not detected this can be due to inadequate methodological approaches or because of impossibility of identifying the existing inadequacy at the present stage of development of science. The existing congenital failures of immunity compensated by activation of synergic components of the system, with time and under exposure to adverse environmental factors, can bring about a cumulative effect leading to a phenotypical manifestation of the primary defect and to an increased infection case rate, including organs of the female reproductive system.

RESUMEN

Our objective in this work was to study efficiency of cryohormonal treatment in patients with internal endometriosis. As many as 27 female patients were treated, in whom the diagnosis of internal endometriosis had been confirmed with the aid of ultrasound investigation, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. All above patients underwent intrauterine cryodestruction of endometrioidal loci by a contact technique over 3 minutes with subsequent administration of dipherelin, 3.75 mg every 28 days, a total of 4 to 6 injections for the course. The study made has shown high efficacy of the employed treatment option.
