RESUMEN
Through comprehensive and systematic collection of existing evidence, systematic review adopts clinical epidemiological methods, strictly evaluates the quality of evidence, qualitatively or quantitatively combines research results, and finally provides a reliable basis for solving a focused clinical problem. The number of systematic reviews has increased rapidly. With references to the Checklist, this review discussed the typical issues with current systematic reviews in nursing, and highlighted the crucial components for reporting systematic reviews at every essential step.
RESUMEN
Objective To produce a plastic ampoule with an opening that fits syringe adapters to allow solutions to be drawn up without needles (to avoid needle stick and sharps injuries) and to test the effectiveness of the new design in terms of residual fluid volume and risk of microorganism contamination. Methods Evaluation study based on laboratory research was adopted. For the experimental group, 30 ampoules based on the new design were produced by 3D printing. The ampoules were sterilized and filled with 2 ml sterile water. The sterile water was drawn up without the use of needles, and the wastage fluid (i.e., 2 ml minus the quantity drawn up) was calculated. A 1 ml aliquot of sterile water from each ampoule was dropped onto a nutrient agar plate, and the number of colony-forming units was assessed after 48 h. For each ampoule, the experiment was performed twice. Sixty 2 ml glass-packaged sterile water injections constituted the control group. The fluid was drawn up with a needle, and the superfluous fluid and number of colony-forming units were assessed, as in the experimental group. Results The mean wastage fluid was 0.06 ml, 95% CI was 0.05-0.07 ml in the experimental group and the superfluous fluid was 0.06 ml, 95% CI was 0.06-0.07 ml in the control group, there was no significant difference between the two groups (Z=-1.194, P=0.233). The number of colony-forming units was 8 in the experimental group and 4 in the control group, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P=0.224). Conclusions The newly designed plastic ampoule opening could help health workers to avoid needle stick and sharps injuries when drawing up solution. The wastage fluid and microorganism contamination levels met the required standards, indicating that the new design is suitable for clinical application.
RESUMEN
Objective To compare the differences between college students and undergraduate students in terms of the evaluation of demonstration experimental teaching and analyze the influencing factors. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 272 college students and 344 undergraduate students doing experimental study. Both stratified sampling and convenience sampling methods were used. Results The results showed that compared to the undergraduate students, the total score level of the evaluation, the teaching way,the teaching effect and the comprehensive evaluation of the college students was much lower. However, there were no significant differences between them in the evaluation of curriculum. Conclusions A few corresponding measures should be adopted by nursing schools and teachers to improve the quality of nursing experimental teaching.
RESUMEN
Objective To analyze the professional psychological pressure and coping style of male nursing students during different learning stage, and discuss effective ways to solve these problems in order to promote physical and mental health development of male nursing students. Methods Using coping style questionnaire and the professional psychological pressure of nursing students questionnaire to survey 102 undergraduate male nursing students from grade 2005 to 2008 of a nursing college of certain province. Results The professional psychological pressure of undergraduate male nursing students was moderate.Male nursing students of different grades had different professional pressure,in which male nursing students of secondyear had lower professional psychological pressure than other students.Manners they adopted to cope with pressure were mature, that is,the "problem-solving-help" approach,in which ways taken by second-year students were more than others. Conclusions Social bias to male nurses should be corrected.Professional psychological education should be carried out to relieve their mental pressure according to characteristics of students in different stage and direct them to realize role change.
