@# Objective To review the effects of mindfulness-based therapy on depression for stroke patients. Methods The researches about the effects of mindfulness-based therapy on depression for stroke patients were recalled from Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, CNKI, WanFang Data and VIP, and analyzed with RevMan 5.3 software. Results Five researches were included, which contained three randomized controlled trials and two clinical controlled trials. Meta-analysis showed that mindfulness-based therapy could decrease the depression score in stroke patients (SMD = -1.05, Z = 3.52, P < 0.001). Conclusion The mindfulness-based therapy could reduce the depression for stroke patients; however, the means of mindfulness need further research.

Objective To study the effect of low intensity laser irradiation on wound healing and the expression of transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1) and interleukin beta-1 (IL-1β) in wounded tissue. Methods Steam was used to scald 60 BALB/c mice. They were then randomly divided into a laser group and a control group with 30 in each group. The wounds in the laser group were irradiated with a low-intensity He-Ne laser, while the control group was given the same treatment except that the instrument was turned off.The wound healing rate was calculated, and the full wound thickness was measured and a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expression of TGF-β1 and IL-1β right after the scalding and 1,3,7 and 14 days later. Results Seven and 14 days later, the wound healing rates in the laser group were (51.48 ± 5.89) % and (73.96 ± 7.25) %,respectively.Compared with the control group at the same time points, the difference was statistically significant. In the laser group the expression of TGF-β1 had increased significantly at days 1 and 3,then increased to a maximum at day 7.It was significantly greater than in the control group at all three of those time points. At day 14 the expression of TGF-β1 in the laser group was significantly lower than in the control group. The expression of IL-1 β in the laser group had decreased significantly at days 1 and 3,and gradually reduced to a minimum at day 7.It was significantly lower than in the control group at all three of those time points. Conclusion Low intensity He-Ne laser irradiation can accelerate wound healing after scalding,at least in mice. Its effect may be related to its regulation of the expression of IL-1 β and TGF-β1.

@#Objective To explore the efficacy of process management on bladder function among traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients admitted to intensive rehabilitation and care unit (IRCU). Methods 33 cases were collected to control group who were cared with routing nursing during February, 2011 to December, 2012. Other 39 cases were recruited to trial group cared with process management of bladder function during January, 2013 to December, 2014. Process management of bladder function contained the establishment of process manage-ment guide, evaluation of removing catheter, nursing of bladder based on residue of urine volume and keeping a diary of urination, etc. Re-sults There were more cases with residue of urine volume less than 100 ml and less with catheter associated urinary tract infection in the tri-al group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Process management of bladder function can improve the recovery of bladder func-tion of TBI patients, shorten rehabilitation time and decrease the risk of catheter associated urinary tract infection.

Objective To observe the effects of intensive lower extremity motor control training on the motor function of lower extremi-ty, balance and walking capability of stroke patients. Methods 40 stroke patients were randomized into the intervention group (n=20) and control group (n=20). Both groups received the routine rehabilitation, while the intervention group accepted the lower extremity motor con-trol training in addition for 6 weeks. Before and after 6 weeks of treatments, they were assessed with Fugl-Meyer Assessment of lower ex-tremity (FMA-L), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Holden Functional Ambulation Category (FAC);their gaits were analysesd with footprint. Re-sults Both groups improved significantly in scores of FMA-L, BBS, FAC and average step length, stride width, walking velocity (P<0.01) after treatment, and improved more in the intervention group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Intensive motor control train-ing of lower extremity may promote the recovery of motor function of lower extremities, balance and walking ability of stroke patients.

@#Objective To investigate the effects of rehabilitation stroke unit on patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke. Methods 90 stroke patients with shoulder-hand syndrome were divided into two groups: control group (45 cases) was treated with conventional treatment and experimental group (45 cases) was incorporated into the rehabilitation stroke unit. The therapeutic course was 6 weeks.Brunnstrom stage, Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) and modified Barthel index (MBI) were used to assess the degree of the motor function of upper limb and hand, and activities of daily living (ADL), and the total clinical efficacy were evaluated. Results The motor function of upper limb and hand and ADL improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.05), while the experimental group was significantly superior to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Rehabilitation stroke unit has preferable effect on shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke.

@# Objective To develop a scale of social adaptation degrees of special service personnel (referred to as scale) applying Traditional Chinese Medicine and psychological theory and to assess its reliability and validity. Methods By literature review, job analysis, inventory survey, topics interview, this scale was determined in dimensions, items and items pool based on theoretical model. Results After specialist important analysis and combining the different results of statistical analysis, including Cronbach's α coefficient, resolution factor, correlation analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, 6 dimensions, 14 factors and 40 items were finally kept in the scale. The dimensions were psychological characteristics, physical condition, intelligence level, interpersonal relationships, environmental factors and moral character. The factors were self-control, self-esteem character bias, self-confidence, physiological function, learning intelligence, creating intelligence, leadership intelligence, gregariousness, cooperative, confidence feeling, natural environment, social environment and moral character. Conclusion This scale was made on the basis of general international principle, it had good reliability and validity meeting measurement standard of traditional Chinese medicine and psychological theory, and it is an effective and practical evaluation tool of social adaptation degrees of special service personnel.
