RESUMEN

MAIN CONCLUSION: The rice SnRK2 members SAPK4, SAPK5, SAPK7 and SAPK10 are positive regulators involved in the regulation of rice flowering, while other single mutants exhibited no effect on rice flowering. The rice SnRK2 family, comprising 10 members known as SAPK (SnRK2-Associated Protein Kinase), is pivotal in the abscisic acid (ABA) pathway and crucial for various biological processes, such as drought resistance and salt tolerance. Additionally, these members have been implicated in the regulation of rice heading date, a key trait influencing planting area and yield. In this study, we utilized gene editing technology to create mutants in the Songjing 2 (SJ2) background, enabling a comprehensive analyze the role of each SAPK member in rice flowering. We found that SAPK1, SAPK2, and SAPK3 may not directly participate in the regulatory network of rice heading date, while SAPK4, SAPK5, and SAPK7 play positive roles in rice flowering regulation. Notably, polygene deletion resulted in an additive effect on delaying flowering. Our findings corroborate the previous studies indicating the positive regulatory role of SAPK10 in rice flowering, as evidenced by delayed flowering observed in sapk9/10 double mutants. Moving forward, our future research will focus on analyzing the molecular mechanisms underlying SAPKs involvement in rice flowering regulation, aiming to enhance our understanding of the rice heading date relationship network and lay a theoretical foundation for breeding efforts to alter rice ripening dates.

RESUMEN

The roles of brain regions activities and gene expressions in the development of Alzheimer's disease (AD) remain unclear. Existing imaging genetic studies usually has the problem of inefficiency and inadequate fusion of data. This study proposes a novel deep learning method to efficiently capture the development pattern of AD. First, we model the interaction between brain regions and genes as node-to-node feature aggregation in a brain region-gene network. Second, we propose a feature aggregation graph convolutional network (FAGCN) to transmit and update the node feature. Compared with the trivial graph convolutional procedure, we replace the input from the adjacency matrix with a weight matrix based on correlation analysis and consider common neighbor similarity to discover broader associations of nodes. Finally, we use a full-gradient saliency graph mechanism to score and extract the pathogenetic brain regions and risk genes. According to the results, FAGCN achieved the best performance among both traditional and cutting-edge methods and extracted AD-related brain regions and genes, providing theoretical and methodological support for the research of related diseases.

A novel one-pot pseudo-three-component reaction of 2-amino-4H-chromen-4-ones with 4-benzylidene-5-alkyl-2-aryl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-ones was investigated for the synthesis of the spiro[chromeno[2,3-b]pyridine-3,4'-pyrazole] derivatives. This procedure involved Michael addition, elimination, and hetero-Diels-Alder sequences, affording a series of spiropyrazolone-chromeno[2,3-b]pyridines in good yields that possessed cis relationships between two aryl groups and the carbonyl of the pyrazolone unit.

This innovative reaction involved the [3+3] annulation of 2-amino-4H-chromen-4-ones and 4-benzylideneoxazol-5(4H)-ones. The process provided quick and easy access to a broad range of structurally diverse and highly functionalized 1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2H-chromeno[2,3-b]pyridines in moderate to good yields, which possess trans-form C3 and C4 substituents.

Rice flowering time determines its geographical distribution and yield traits. As a short-day plant, rice can grow in the northern long-day conditions due to the functional mutations of many photosensitive genes. In this study, to identify novel genes or alleles that regulate flowering time in high latitude region, two cultivar, Dongnong 413 (DN413) and Yukimochi (XN) showing extreme early flowering were used for investigation. DN413 is around 4.0 days earlier than XN, and both cultivars can be grown in II (2500 â„ƒ-2700 â„ƒ) to III (2300 â„ƒ-2500 â„ƒ) accumulated temperature zones. We found that the two cultivars shared the same genotype of heading date genes, including Hd1/2/4/5/6/16/17/18, Ehd2, DTH2, SE5, Hd3a. Importantly, a novel Ehd3 allele characterized by a A1146C substitution was identified, which results in the E382D substitution, hereafter the 382 position E is defined as Hap_E and the 382 position D is defined as Hap_D. Association analysis showed that Hap_E is earlier flowering than Hap_D. Subsequently, we construct DN413 Hap_D line by three times back-crossing DN413 with XN, and found the heading date of DN413 Hap_D was 1.7-3.5 days later than DN413. Moreover, Hap_E and Hap_D of Ehd3 were transformed into ehd3 mutant, respectively, and the Ehd3pro:Ehd3D/ehd3 flowered later than that Ehd3pro:Ehd3E/ehd3 by around 4.3 days. Furthermore, we showed Ehd3 functions as a transcriptional suppressor and the substitution of Asp-382 lost the inhibition activity in protoplasts. Finally, a CAPS marker was developed and used for genotyping and marker assistant breeding. Collectively, we discovered a novel functional allele of Ehd3, which can used as a valuable breeding target. Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a critical clinical condition that causes kidney fibrosis, and it currently lacks specific treatment options. In this research, we investigate the role of the SENP1-Sirt3 signaling pathway and its correlation with mitochondrial dysfunction in proximal tubular epithelial cells (PTECs) using folic acid (FA) and ischemia-reperfusion-induced (IRI) AKI models. Our findings reveal that Sirt3 SUMOylation site mutation (Sirt3 KR) or pharmacological stimulation (metformin) protected mice against AKI and subsequent kidney inflammation and fibrosis by decreasing the acetylation level of mitochondrial SOD2, reducing mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (mtROS), and subsequently restoring mitochondrial ATP level, reversing mitochondrial morphology and alleviating cell apoptosis. In addition, AKI in mice was similarly alleviated by reducing mtROS levels using N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) or MitoQ. Metabolomics analysis further demonstrated an increase in antioxidants and metabolic shifts in Sirt3 KR mice during AKI, compared with Sirt3 wild-type (WT) mice. Activation of the AMPK pathway using metformin promoted the SENP1-Sirt3 axis and protected PTECs from apoptosis. Hence, the augmented deSUMOylation of Sirt3 in mitochondria, activated through the metabolism-related AMPK pathway, protects against AKI and subsequently mitigated renal inflammation and fibrosis through Sirt3-SOD2-mtROS, which represents a potential therapeutic target for AKI.

Dapagliflozin (DAPA) are clinically effective in improving diabetic nephropathy (DN). However, whether and how chromatin accessibility changed by DN responds to DAPA treatment is unclear. Therefore, we performed ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, and weighted gene correlation network analysis to identify the chromatin accessibility, the messenger RNA (mRNA) expression, and the correlation between clinical phenotypes and mRNA expression using kidney from three mouse groups: db/m mice (Controls), db/db mice (case group), and those treated with DAPA (treatment group). RNA-Seq and ATAC-seq conjoint analysis revealed many overlapping pathways and networks suggesting that the transcriptional changes of DN and DAPA intervention largely occured dependently on chromatin remodeling. Specifically, the results showed that some key signal transduction pathways, such as immune dysfunction, glucolipid metabolism, oxidative stress and xenobiotic and endobiotic metabolism, were repeatedly enriched in the analysis of the RNA-seq data alone, as well as combined analysis with ATAC-seq data. Furthermore, we identified some candidate genes (UDP glucuronosyltransferase 1 family, Dock2, Tbc1d10c, etc.) and transcriptional regulators (KLF6 and GFI1) that might be associated with DN and DAPA restoration. These reversed genes and regulators confirmed that pathways related to immune response and metabolism pathways were critically involved in DN progression.

BACKGROUND: This study investigated the relaxation effect of PGE2 on the ureter and its role in promoting calculi expulsion following calculi development. METHODS: By using immunofluorescence and Western blot, we were able to locate EP receptors in the ureter. In vitro experiments assessed the impact of PGE2, receptor antagonists, and agonists on ureteral relaxation rate. We constructed a model of ureteral calculi with flowable resin and collected ureteral tissue from postoperative side of the ureter after obstruction surgery. Western blot analysis was used to determine the protein expression levels of EP receptors and the PGE2 terminal synthase mPGES-1. Additionally, PGE2 was added to smooth muscle cells to observe downstream cAMP and PKA changes. RESULTS: The expression of EP2 and EP4 proteins in ureteral smooth muscle was verified by Western blot analysis. According to immunofluorescence, EP2 was primarily found on the cell membrane, while EP4 was found in the nucleus. In vitro, PGE2 induced concentration-dependent ureteral relaxation. Maximum diastolic rate was 70.94 ± 4.57% at a concentration of 30µM. EP2 antagonists hindered this effect, while EP4 antagonists did not. Obstructed ureters exhibited elevated mPGES-1 and EP2 protein expression (P < 0.01). Smooth muscle cells treated with PGE2 displayed increased cAMP and phosphorylated PKA. CONCLUSIONS: PGE2 binding to EP2 induces ureteral relaxation through the cAMP-PKA pathway. This will provide a new theoretical basis for the development of new therapeutic approaches for the use of PGE2 in the treatment of ureteral stones.

BACKGROUND: Nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has emerged as one of the dreadful lung cancers globally due to its increased mortality rates. Concerning chemotherapy, gefitinib has been employed as an effective first-line treatment drug for NSCLC. Nonetheless, the acquired resistance to gefitinib has remained one of the treatment obstacles of NSCLC, requiring improvement in the therapeutic effect of gefitinib. METHODS: Initially, reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), and Western blotting (WB) analyses were conducted to measure micro-ribose nucleic acid (miRNA, specifically miR-578) and suppressor of cytokine signaling 2 (SOCS2) levels in the clinical samples. Further, NSCLC cell lines resistance to gefitinib, established in vitro, were transfected by miR-578 inhibitor, miR-578 mimic, and si-SOCS2. Similarly, the xenograft mouse model in vivo was constructed to validate the reversing effect of miR-578. RESULTS: Our findings indicated the increased miR-578 expression levels in the gefitinib resistance group. Further, inhibiting the miR-578 expression substantially reversed the gefitinib resistance. In addition, the miR-578 effect was modulated via the SOCS2 expression level. The decreased gefitinib resistance effect of miR-578 was weakened by inhibiting the SOCS2 expression. CONCLUSION: These findings demonstrated that miR-578 effectively abolished gefitinib resistance by regulating the SOCS2 expression within NSCLC cells in vitro and in vivo. Together, these results will undoubtedly support a reference to provide potential molecular therapeutic targets and clinical treatments for treating NSCLC patients.

BACKGROUND: Renal interstitial fibrosis is one of the most common pathways in the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Noninvasive evaluation of interstitial fibrosis would help monitoring CKD progression and prognosis prediction. PURPOSE: To evaluate the severity of renal interstitial fibrosis by diffusion-relaxation correlation spectrum imaging (DR-CSI). STUDY TYPE: Prospective. SUBJECTS: Forty patients with CKD and 10 healthy controls (average age 49.2 ± 14.8 years, 18 females). FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCE: 3-T, DR-CSI with 36 axial spin-echo echo-planar diffusion-weighted images (6 b-values, 6 echo times). ASSESSMENT: Interstitial fibrosis level (IFL) was assessed from biopsy results (IFL = 1, fibrosis percentage <25%, defined as mild; IFL = 2, 25%-50%, moderate; IFL = 3, >50%, severe). Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was calculated using serum creatinine. The regions of interest included cortex for both kidneys. The diffusivity-T2 spectrum was assessed considering three compartments (threshold: T2 30-40 msec, diffusivity 5-9 µm2 /msec, according to visible peaks): A (low diffusivity, short T2), B (low diffusivity, long T2), and C (high diffusivity). Volume fractions Vi (i = A, B, C) were calculated. STATISTICAL TESTS: Intra-class coefficient (ICC, >0.6 as good) to assess inter-reader agreement of DR-CSI Vi . Spearman's correlation to assess relationship of Vi to IFL and eGFR. Receiver operating characteristic analyses with the area under the curve (AUC) to discriminate patients with moderate-severe fibrosis from mild ones. Statistical significance criteria: P-value <0.05. RESULTS: ICCs were good for all Vi . Correlations were found between IFL and VB (r = 0.424, significant) and VC (r = -0.400, significant), and between eGFR and VB (r = -0.303, P = 0.058) and VC (r = 0.487, significant). Regarding VB and VC , the AUCs were 0.903 and 0.824. DATA CONCLUSION: DR-CSI help distinguish patients with moderate or severe renal interstitial fibrosis from mild ones. Rice is a chilling-sensitive plant, and extremely low temperatures seriously decrease rice production. Several genes involved in chilling stress have been reported in rice; however, the chilling signaling in rice remains largely unknown. Here, we investigated the chilling tolerance phenotype of overexpression of constitutive active OsMAPK6 (CAMAPK6-OE) and OsMAPK6 mutant dsg1, and demonstrated that OsMAPK6 positively regulated rice chilling tolerance. It was shown that, under cold stress, the survival rate of dsg1 was significantly lower than that of WT, whereas CAMAPK6-OE display higher survival rate than WT. Physiological assays indicate that ion leakage and dead cell in dsg1 was much more severe than those in WT and CAMAPK6-OE. Consistently, expression of chilling responsive genes in dsg1, including OsCBFs and OsTPP1, was significantly lower than that of in WT and CAMAPK6-OE. Biochemical analyses revealed that chilling stress promotes phosphorylation of OsMAPK6. Besides, we found that OsMAPK6 interacts with and phosphorylates two key regulators in rice cold signaling, OsIPA1 and OsICE1, and then enhance their protein stability. Overall, our results revealed a cold-induced OsMAPK6-OsICE1/OsIPA1 signaling cascade by which OsMAPK6 was involved in rice chilling tolerance, which provides novel insights to understand rice cold response at seedling stage.

A three-component reaction of 2-amino-4H-chromen-4-ones, aromatic aldehydes, and 4,4-dialkoxycyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ones for the concise synthesis of chromeno[2,3-c]dihydroisoquinoline derivatives has been investigated. This reaction involved consecutive ZnCl2-promoted Micheal addition and intramolecular Friedel-Crafts alkylation. This synthetic protocol offered several advantages, including the readily accessible starting materials, good functional group tolerance, and simplicity of operation. Additionally, the structures of products obtained were determined based on X-ray diffraction studies.

BACKGROUND: Extraglomerular immune complex deposition is rare and only a few membranous nephropathy cases with tubular basement membrane deposits have been reported following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. CASE PRESENTATION: We reported a 56-year-old man with increased serum creatinine after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation who underwent a renal biopsy. Tubular interstitial nephritis was identified on light microscope. The unique histologic features were diffuse tubular basement membrane immune complex deposition detected by both immunofluorescence and electron microscopy, while the glomerular involvement was inconspicuous. The differential diagnosis from other forms of tubular basement membrane deposition is discussed. CONCLUSION: Diffuse granular tubular basement membrane immune complex deposition with minimal glomerular involvement is also a manifestation of renal complication in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation recipient. However, the exact mechanism and target antigen remains unknown.

BACKGROUND: Impaired renal function was not a recognized indication for renal biopsy. The effects of receiving renal biopsy on the renal functional prognosis for chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients with impaired renal function need to be explored. METHODS: This study retrospectively enrolled 300 renal function impaired CKD patients in Renji Hospital from January 2015 to December 2017, 150 of them received percutaneous renal biopsy while the others did not. The endpoint was ≥ 50% estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) decline from baseline or development of end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Kaplan-Meier analysis with log-rank test was performed to compare the renal survival probability between patients receiving renal biopsy or not. Univariate and multivariate analysis with Cox regression were conducted with predictors of poor renal outcomes in the study cohort. RESULTS: The median follow-up period was 37.6 months. During the follow-up period, the eGFR of the biopsy group increased from 52.2 ± 14.4 to 67.4 ± 37.8 ml/min/1.73 m², but decreased from 55.3 ± 17.1 to 29.8 ± 19.1 ml/min/1.73 m² in the non-biopsy group. Patients who received renal biopsy had significantly higher renal survival probability (P < 0.001). Cox regression analysis revealed that 24-hour urine protein excretion (24 h UPE) more than 1 g/d was an independent predictor for poor renal outcomes in the non-biopsy group but not in the renal biopsy group (HR = 1.719, P = 0.040). CONCLUSION: CKD patients with impaired renal function are recommended to receive renal biopsy to make pathological diagnoses, especially for those with the 24-hour urine protein excretion more than 1 g/d.

OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of shear wave elastography (SWE) with that of shear wave dispersion (SWD) in evaluation of hepatic parenchyma in patients with liver tumors before resection. METHODS: A total of 174 patients with liver tumors were prospectively enrolled. SWE and SWD examinations were performed. Fibrosis stage and necroinflammatory activity were determined histopathologically according to the Scheuer standard. We compared the diagnostic accuracy of SWE and SWD. RESULTS: Both SWE and SWD values of the liver were highly correlated with liver fibrosis stage (P < .05, respectively). Both SWE and SWD values of the liver were moderately correlated with necroinflammatory activity (P < .05, respectively). Both SWE and SWD values of the liver were not correlated with steatosis (P > .05, respectively). Both SWE and SWD values were significantly different among the patients with different stages of liver fibrosis (P < .001, respectively). The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of SWE value was 0.982, 0.977, 0.969, and 0.984 for predicting S ≥ 1, S ≥ 2, S ≥ 3, and S = 4, respectively. The optimal cutoff SWE values were 6.9, 7.9, 8.7, and 10.6 kPa for S ≥ 1, S ≥ 2, S ≥ 3, and S = 4, respectively. The area under the ROC curve of SWD value was 0.967, 0.960, 0.925, and 0.954 for predicting S ≥ 1, S ≥ 2, S ≥ 3, and S = 4, respectively. The optimal cutoff SWD values were 11.2, 12.0, 13.2, and 16.0 m/s/kHz for S ≥ 1, S ≥ 2, S ≥ 3, and S = 4, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: SWE and SWD could be noninvasive and accurate for predicting the stage of liver fibrosis in patients with liver tumors before surgery. SWE was more accurate than SWD in predicting severe fibrosis (S ≥ 3) and cirrhosis (S = 4).

BACKGROUND: Voice training has been proposed as an intervention to improve swallowing function in patients with dysphagia. However, little is known about the effects of voice training on swallowing physiology. OBJECTIVES: This systematic review investigates the effect of voice training on the swallowing function of patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia and provides the theoretical basis for improving the swallowing function and life quality of patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia. DATA SOURCES: A systematic review using a narrative synthesis approach of all published studies was sought with no date restrictions. Five electronic databases (EMBASE, PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science, and The Cochrane Library) were searched from inception to April 2022. STUDY SELECTION: Eight studies were included. Two researchers screened the literature according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracted data, and carried out quality control according to the Cochrane handbook5.1.0. Data were analyzed narratively and descriptively. CONCLUSIONS: In general, statistically significant positive therapy effects were found. Voice training improves the oral and pharyngeal stages of swallowing in patients with neurological causes of dysphagia, such as stroke, and in patients with non-neurological causes of dysphagia, such as head and neck cancer. However, the current literature is limited and further primary research is required to provide more evidence to support voice training intervention in dysphagia.  Future studies could  further refine the content of voice training interventions, increase the number of patients enrolled, assess the long-term effects of voice training interventions and add associated assessments of the quality of life after treatment.

BACKGROUND: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a common complication after liver transplantation and is traditionally considered to be secondary to calcineurin inhibitors (CNIs). However, several studies have reported that the etiology of CKD after liver transplantation is broad and may only be assessed accurately by renal biopsy. The current study aimed to explore the usefulness of renal biopsies in managing CKD after liver transplantation in daily clinical practice. METHOD: This retrospective analysis enrolled all post-liver transplantation patients who had a renal biopsy in a single center from July 2018 to February 2021. RESULTS: Fourteen renal biopsies were retrieved for review from 14 patients at a median of 35.7 (minimum-maximum: 2.80-134.73) months following liver transplantation. The male-to-female ratio was 13:1 (age range, 31-75 years). The histomorphological alterations were varied. The predominant glomerular histomorphological changes included focal segmental glomerular sclerosis (FSGS) (n = 4), diabetic glomerulopathy (n = 4), and membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (n = 4). Thirteen (92.9%) patients had renal arteriolar sclerosis. Immune complex nephritis was present in six patients, of whom only two had abnormal serum immunological indicators. Despite interstitial fibrosis and tubular atrophy being present in all the patients, only six (42.9%) presented with severe interstitial injury. No major renal biopsy-related complications occurred. After a mean follow-up of 11.8 months (range: 1.2-29.8), three patients progressed to end-stage renal disease (ESRD). CONCLUSION: The etiology of CKD after liver transplantation might be more complex than originally thought and should not be diagnosed simply as calcineurin inhibitors(CNI)-related nephropathy. Renal biopsy plays a potentially important role in the diagnosis and treatment of CKD after liver transplantation and might not be fully substituted by urine or blood tests. It may help avoid unnecessary changes to the immunosuppressants and inadequate treatment of primary diseases.

BACKGROUND: Countries around the world are actively promoting vaccination against COVID-19. We observed the changes in serum neutralizing antibody titers in medical workers vaccinated with inactivated COVID-19 vaccine, in order to explore the necessity of a third dose of vaccination. METHODS: A total of 62 medical workers in our hospital were observed. Novel coronavirus neutralizing antibody titers in serum were detected by ELISA (enzyme-linked immunoassay). Neutralizing antibody tests followed in four batches according to the different time periods after three vaccinations. Sixty-two observers participated in the first batch of testing for neutralizing antibody, and 18 of them participated in all four batches. Fasting venous blood was taken from all the participants in the morning to detect serum neutralizing antibody titers. RESULTS: Sixty-two medical workers were divided into age groups of 21-30, 31-40, and >40 years, and the antibody titer in the oldest group was significantly lower than that in youngest group (p = 0.0137). There was a gradual decrease in antibody titers over time at around 1, 3, and 6 months after the second dose of vaccine (p < 0.0001). The antibody positive rate also decreased gradually (p = 0.0003). The neutralizing antibody titer around 1 month after the third dose was significantly increased (p < 0.0001). Unexpectedly, three participants with negative neutralizing antibody after the first and second dose produced neutralizing antibody with a measurable titer after the third dose. CONCLUSIONS: The neutralizing antibody titer in serum increased significantly after the third dose of vaccine. A third immunization even produced neutralizing antibody in previously negative individuals.

Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) is a main cause of hospital-acquired renal failure. Nevertheless, limited measures have been shown to be effective for the treatment of CI-AKI. Here, we demonstrated that αKlotho, which is highly expressed in kidney, has therapeutic activity in CI-AKI. Our data showed that αKlotho expression levels were decreased both in the kidney and serum of CI-AKI mice. Administration of αKlotho protein protected the kidney and HK-2 cells against contrast-induced injury. Mechanistically, αKlotho reduced contrast-induced renal tubular cells pyroptosis by limiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation. Meanwhile, αKlotho up-regulated autophagy via inhibiting the AKT/mTOR pathway and decreased mitochondrial ROS level. Inhibition of autophagy blunted the suppression effect of αKlotho on NLRP3 inflammasome activation and cell pyroptosis in contrast-treated HK-2 cells. Taken together, our data suggest that αKlotho protein protects against CI-AKI through inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis, which is likely by promoting autophagy. αKlotho may be a promising therapeutic strategy for CI-AKI.

By preparing 15 batches of lyophilized powder samples of substance benchmark in Houpo Wenzhong Decoction,the fingerprint,index component content and extract rate were determined,and the characteristic peaks,the range of similarity with the reference map,the content range and transfer rate range of magnolol,hesperidin,glycyrrhizic acid and pinocembrin,the extract rate range and the change range were clarified. The results showed that the similarity between the fingerprint of substance benchmark and the reference map R generated from the 15 batches of substance benchmark samples was higher than 0. 90. The assignment of the characteristic peaks in the full prescription's fingerprint of the herbs except Poria cocos was clarified. Nineteen characteristic peaks were assigned,and 12 characteristic peaks were assigned by the reference substance,of which 4 were from Magnolia ocinalis Cortex,5 from Exocarpium Citri Rubrum,2 from Radix aucklandiae,3 from Glycyrrhiza Radix et Rhizoma,4 from Semen Alpiniae Katsumadai,and one from Rhizoma Zingiberis and Zingiber officinale Roscoe. The index component content range and transfer rate range were 0. 80%-1. 14% and 20. 25%-39. 61% for hesperidin,0. 49%-0. 79% and 23. 09%-33. 87%for glycyrrhizic acid,0. 03%-0. 07% and 3. 55%-10. 09% for pinocembrin,0. 15%-0. 38% and 8. 08%-24. 35% for magnolol. The extract rate range and the change range were22. 60%-25. 57% and 12. 67%-23. 68% respectively. In this study,we introduced the concepts of index component content,fingerprint,extract rate,explored the transfer relation of quality value transmitting of substance benchmark in Houpo Wenzhong Decoction,and initially established the quality standard of Houpo Wenzhong Decoction,all of which would provide ideas for the development and research of similar prescriptions.
