En el artículo se presentan las tendencias actuales en relación a la comprensión del desarrollo del bebé y, por tanto, de la etiología de los trastornos mentales en el niño. Por otro lado, se revisan los avances en neurociencia que nos ayudan a dar respuesta a esta cuestión. Finalmente, el autor presenta un modelo relacional de la etiopatogenia de los trastornos mentales (AU)

ABSTRACT

This article presents current trends in relation to the understanding of baby’s development and, therefore, of the etiology of mental disorders in the child. On the other hand, reviews the progress in neuroscience that helps us to answer this question. Finally, the author presents a relational model of the etiopathology of mental disorders (AU)
