RESUMO

Our purpose is to study, through the case of a patient operated for right hepatic tumour, the clinical, radiological, anatomopathologic and therapeutic aspects of the peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumours (PPNET). This tumour (PPNET) is a neoplasm belonging to the Ewing's family tumours, whose histology is similar. Its diagnosis requires the contribution of histopathology, immunohistochimy and cytogenetic studies. The primary hepatic localization of this rare tumour (our case), has never been reported. The treatment, in theory copied on that of the Ewing's sarcoma, is complex and not yet codified, which makes it another disappointing aspect of this disease whose prognosis remains dark.

RESUMO

The gastric trichobezoar is a rare disease in which diagnosis is easy in case of evocative context. Its treatment is not standardized. The authors report the case of a 9 year old girl, known to have trichophagy, presenting with a large epigastric mass. Upper endoscopy made the diagnosis of a trichobezoar. Surgical extraction was performed through gastrotomy, without complications. Psychiatric follow-up was recommended.

RESUMO

Extra pulmonary tuberculosis accounts for less than 15% of all cases of tuberculosis whereas the Intestinal one constitutes less than 1% of the extrapulmonary forms of the disease. The lesions of abdominal organs are more common while they rarely occur in the anoperineal area for the spread of the disease to the anus is extremely rare. We report a case of a 37-year-old male patient with large bilateral infected perianal tubercular ulcerations as well as pulmonary and peritoneal tuberculosis. The treatment was both surgical and medical and the therapy lasted for seven months. After six months from the beginning of the treatment, the lesion had totally disappeared and there is still no recurrence after one year of followup. Tuberculosis should generally be taken into consideration in the differential diagnosis of the ulcerative lesions of the anal and perianal regions for these lesions do occur in the said areas despite their rarity. The treatment is usually both surgical and medical so as to get excellent results.

RESUMO

Most tumors affecting Vater's ampulla are adenocarcinomas, and other histological variants are less frequent. Signet ring cell carcinoma is more commonly found in the stomach than at other sites of the digestive system. Signet ring cell carcinoma of the Vater's ampulla is extremely rare, and only 15 cases have previously been described in the literature. It mainly occurs in elderly patients (median age = 57 years). We report a case of advanced signet ring cell carcinoma of the ampulla of Vater, with invasion of the duodenum (D3) admitted in the Medical Oncology Unit of HASSAN II University Hospital.
