RESUMO

In this paper, a broadband photoelectric fusion transceiver-multiplexed system is proposed to realize a frequency converter. The system achieves a high spurious suppression ratio through two frequency conversions that utilize the advantages of microwave and photonics technology simultaneously to reduce the complexity of the system and improve the effective spectrum utilization. In addition, the core components, such as the Mach-Zehnder modulator (MZM), are multiplexed in the up and down frequency conversion link. High-frequency local oscillator (LO) signals are used to keep image frequency signals and various kinds of spurious signals obtained by beating frequency outside the system bandwidth. Experimental results demonstrate that the operating frequency ranges from 2 to 18 GHz with high performance for both transmitter and receiver. The image rejection is 57.35 dB for up-conversion and 46.56 dB for down-conversion, and the in-band spurious suppression achieves at least 55.02 dB. At the same time, the spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) can reach at least 89.11d B⋅H z 2/3.

This work presents a simple microwave photonic downconversion channelizer based on multi-wavelength laser sources. The design of two laser diode (LD) arrays enables signal multiplexing and simultaneous multichannel downconversion processing, which provide stable, relatively flat, and strong multi-frequency combs. A proof-of-concept experiment was taken, showing that 14.375-17.75 GHz broadband radio frequency (RF) signals were successfully downconverted to the same intermediate frequency (IF) and were sliced into four subchannels with 875 MHz bandwidth showing excellent image rejection and channel uniformity, which agrees with the simulation results. The spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) of the proposed RF channelizer is 100dBHz2/3, the image rejection is over 28 dB, and the frequency measurement error is less than ±6MHz. Replacing optical filters with electrical filters, the proposed simple optoelectronic hybrid reconfigurable microwave photonic channelizer system acquits stable performance and high maturity and meets the application requirements, behaving with stupendous potential in fields such as radar, satellite communication, electronic warfare, and others.

Myocardial fibrosis (MF) is the result of persistent and repeated aggravation of myocardial ischemia and hypoxia, leading to the gradual development of heart failure of chronic ischemic heart disease. Triptolide (TPL) is identified to be involved in the treatment for MF. This study aims to explore the mechanism of TPL in the treatment of MF. The MF rat model was established, subcutaneously injected with isoproterenol and treated by subcutaneous injection of TPL. The cardiac function of each group was evaluated, including LVEF, LVFS, LVES, and LVED. The expressions of ANP, BNP, inflammatory related factors (IL-1ß, IL-18, TNF-α, MCP-1, VCAM-1), NLRP3 inflammasome factors (NLRP3, ASC) and fibrosis related factors (TGF-ß1, COL1, and COL3) in rats were dete cted. H&E staining and Masson staining were used to observe myocardial cell inflammation and fibrosis of rats. Western blot was used to detect the p-P65 and t-P65 levels in nucleoprotein of rat myocardial tissues. LVED and LVES of MF group were significantly upregulated, LVEF and LVFS were significantly downregulated, while TPL treatment reversed these trends; TPL treatment downregulated the tissue injury and improved the pathological damage of MF rats. TPL treatment downregulated the levels of inflammatory factors and fibrosis factors, and inhibited the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome. Activation of NLRP3 inflammasome or NF-κB pathway reversed the effect of TPL on MF. Collectively, TPL inhibited the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome by inhibiting NF-κB pathway, and improved MF in MF rats.

Mercury emission is an important issue during in-situ gasification chemical-looping combustion ( iG-CLC) of coal. This work focused on experimentally "isolating" two elementary subprocesses (coal pyrolysis and char gasification) during iG-CLC of coal, identifying mercury distribution within the two subprocesses, and examining the effects of a hematite oxygen carrier (OC) on the mercury fate. The mercury measurement accuracy was carefully ensured by comparing online measurements (by a VM 3000 instrument) and benchmark measurements (by the standard Ontario Hydro Method, ASTM D6784) as well as repeated tests (10 times for each case). The mercury mass balance was 115% for the entire iG-CLC. A total of 44.7% of the mercury was released as the gas phase form within the coal pyrolysis process at a typical CLC operation temperature (950 °C), whereas 13.4% was released during the char gasification process. The release rate and amount of mercury were minimally affected by the presence of OC; however, the OC promoted the conversion of Hg0(g) to Hg2+(g). Only a small amount of mercury was absorbed by the OC and transported into the air reactor along with carbon residue, released as Hg0(g) and Hg2+(g) or remained in the OC and coal ash as particulate mercury.

The lumen degradation of LED lamps undergoing an accelerated aging test is investigated. The entire LED lamp is divided into three subsystems, namely, driver, lampshade, and LED light source. The parameters of output power [Watts (W)], transmittance (%), and lumen flux (lm) are adopted in the analysis of the degradation of the driver, lampshade, and LED light source, respectively. Two groups of LED lamps are aged under the ambient temperatures of 25°C and 85°C, respectively, with the aging time of 2000 h. The lumen degradation of the lamps is from 3.8% to 4.9% for the group under a temperature of 25°C and from 10.6% to 12.7% for the group under a temperature of 85°C. The LED light source is the most aggressive part of the three subsystems, which accounts for 70.5% of the lumen degradation of the LED lamp on average. The lampshade is the second degradation source, which causes 21.5% of the total amount on average. The driver is the third degradation source, which causes 6.5% under 25°C and 2.8% under 85°C of the total amount on average.
