RESUMO

Near the boundary between ordered and disordered quantum phases, several experiments have demonstrated metallic behaviour that defies the Landau Fermi paradigm1-5. In moiré heterostructures, gate-tuneable insulating phases driven by electronic correlations have been recently discovered6-23. Here, we use transport measurements to characterize metal-insulator transitions (MITs) in twisted WSe2 near half filling of the first moiré subband. We find that the MIT as a function of both density and displacement field is continuous. At the metal-insulator boundary, the resistivity displays strange metal behaviour at low temperatures, with dissipation comparable to that at the Planckian limit. Further into the metallic phase, Fermi liquid behaviour is recovered at low temperature, and this evolves into a quantum critical fan at intermediate temperatures, before eventually reaching an anomalous saturated regime near room temperature. An analysis of the residual resistivity indicates the presence of strong quantum fluctuations in the insulating phase. These results establish twisted WSe2 as a new platform to study doping and bandwidth-controlled metal-insulator quantum phase transitions on the triangular lattice.

RESUMO

The ability to control the properties of twisted bilayer transition metal dichalcogenides in situ makes them an ideal platform for investigating the interplay of strong correlations and geometric frustration. Of particular interest are the low energy scales, which make it possible to experimentally access both temperature and magnetic fields that are of the order of the bandwidth or the correlation scale. In this manuscript, we analyze the moiré Hubbard model, believed to describe the low energy physics of an important subclass of the twisted bilayer compounds. We establish its magnetic and the metal-insulator phase diagram for the full range of magnetic fields up to the fully spin-polarized state. We find a rich phase diagram including fully and partially polarized insulating and metallic phases of which we determine the interplay of magnetic order, Zeeman-field, and metallicity, and make connection to recent experiments.

RESUMO

The present study concerns hydrophobic surface treatments with silane-based coating on concrete surfaces against external ionic transport. The nano-modification and organic-inorganic modification were carried out on it and applied to the mortar matrix and concrete matrix. Lithium-based protective coating (PC1, PC2), nano-modified coating (NC1, NC2) and organic-inorganic composite coating (OL1) were prepared. The salt erosion resistance of the mortar matrix and concrete matrix was tested, compared with the blank group and the market. The test results found that the organic-inorganic modified OL1 and LC1 coatings have the greatest influence on the chloride penetration resistance of the mortar matrix, in which the chloride penetration depth of 28 days is reduced by 73.03% and 63.83%, respectively, compared with the blank group. The rate of mass change of the blank group, PC1 and PC2 coatings, and NL1 and NL2 coatings were 0.17%, 0.08%, and 0.03%, respectively. The result demonstrated that the lithium-based coating could effectively delay the penetration rate of chloride ions and sulfates into the mortar, and the nano-modified properties could improve the salt resistance. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that coating treatment would promote the secondary hydration of cement-based materials, by reducing the content of Ca(OH)2 in hydration products of cement-based materials and producing C-S-H gel, which is conducive to strength enhancement and pore refinement. The nano-component would promote the reaction degree, while the organic-inorganic coating would have the respective advantages of the two components.

RESUMO

We theoretically study the interplay between magnetism and a heavy Fermi liquid in the AB-stacked transition metal dichalcogenide bilayer system, MoTe2/WSe2, in the regime in which the Mo layer supports localized magnetic moments coupled by interlayer electron tunneling to a weakly correlated band of itinerant electrons in the W layer. We show that the interlayer electron transfer leads to a chiral Kondo exchange, with consequences including a strong dependence of the Kondo temperature on carrier concentration and anomalous Hall effect due to a topological hybridization gap. The theoretical model exhibits two phases, a small Fermi surface magnet and a large Fermi surface heavy Fermi liquid; at the mean-field level, the transition between them is first order. Our results provide concrete experimental predictions for ongoing experiments on MoTe2/WSe2 bilayer heterostructures and introduces a controlled route to observe a topological selective Mott transition.

RESUMO

According to the problem that the existing high-speed parallel robot cannot satisfy the operation requirements of non-planar industrial production line, a 6-degrees-of-freedom high-speed parallel robot is proposed to carry out the kinematic and dynamic analyses. Combining with the door-type trajectory commonly used by the parallel robot, it adopts 3-, 5-, and 7-time B-spline curve motion law to conduct the trajectory planning in operation space. Taking the average cumulative effect of joint jerky as the optimization target, a trajectory optimization method is proposed to improve the smoothness of robot end-effector motion with the selected motion law. Furthermore, to solve the deformation problem of the horizontal motion stage of the trajectory, a mapping model between the control point subset of B-spline and the motion point subset of trajectory is established. Based on the main diagonally dominant characteristic of the coefficient matrix, the trajectory deformation evaluation index is constructed to optimize the smoothness and minimum deformation of the robot motion trajectory. Finally, compared to without the optimization, the maximum robot joint jerk decreases by 69.4% and 72.3%, respectively, and the maximum torque decreases by 51.4% and 38.9%, respectively, under a suitable trajectory deformation.
