Sobre la crisis contemporánea. Un plan de investigación en torno a Gino Germani

RESUMEN

El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer un perfil unitario del pensamiento de Gino Germani. Para tal fin son abordados analíticamente los temas centralesde su pensamiento y también todos aquellos problemas que aún hoy generan su nombre y su obra.Centrado en la problemática de la relación entre la modernidad y la secularización en sus relacionescon el autoritarismo moderno, el artículo focaliza las diferentes etapas del desarrollo de este tema en Germani, y las diversas cuestiones que se cruzan con él en varias etapas de su investigación, desde los años cuarenta del siglo xx hasta 1979, año de su muerte, y que constituyen, aún hoy, herramientas esenciales para la comprensión de la crisis contemporánea. ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to provide a unitary profile of Gino Germani thought. To do this, the author analytically confronts all the central themes ofhis thought, and also all those problems that still thickens on his name and his work. Focused on the problematic relationship between modernityand secularization in its relations with the modern authoritarianism, the article deals with the different stages of Germanis reasoning development, andthe various issues that intersect with this theme at various levels of research, from the 1940s until 1979, the year of his death. They are essential tools forunderstanding the contemporary crisis even today. (AU)
