Introducción:
los estudios bibliométricos están basados en descubrimientos científicos y resultados de investigación publicados en revistas científicas donde pueden ser leídos y citados por otros investigadores.Objetivo:
ponderar la producción científica de la revista Multimed, según la tipología de artículos, procedencia y actualidad de la revista, para estimar su comportamiento en el periodo de enero 2013 hasta diciembre 2016.Método:
se realizó un estudio bibliométrico, con análisis temporal y retrospectivo. Las fuentes utilizadas para la obtención de los datos fueron los informes de uso y de citación del sitio web de la revista Multimed. El universo (n=16) la totalidad de artículos publicados en los años de estudio. Se declaró que se trabajó con esta cuantía (muestra) para el procesamiento estadístico a través del paquete estadístico SPSS versión 21.Resultados:
el promedio de artículos publicado, osciló entre 13 y 17 artículos aproximadamente, el año deprimido lo constituyó el 2013. La cantidad de artículos originales fue en ascenso con predominio en los años 2014 y 2016. El municipio Bayamo fue el de mayor porcentaje de artículos publicados. Existió un promedio de referencias entre 18 y 24 por artículo y un índice de Price que osciló entre 0,36 y 0,41.Conclusiones:
existió aumento en el promedio de artículos publicados en la revista médica de Granma en los últimos años, predominaron los artículos originales seguido de las presentaciones de casos y artículos de revisión. Hubo poca colaboración entre los investigadores de la provincia al prevalecer manuscritos de autores pertenecientes a instituciones del municipio Bayamo(AU)Introduction:
