RESUMO

For photosensitive polyurethane systems, reactive diluents are indispensable components whose main role is to reduce the viscosity of the polyurethane prepolymer to meet the requirements of the photocurable 3D printing technology for high fluidity of the precursor solution. Generally, the reactive diluent would be involved in the photocuring reaction, which in turn has a remarkable impact on the mechanical, reaction kinetics, and thermodynamic characteristics of the photosensitive polyurethane system. However, this feature is usually neglected in the study of photosensitive urethane acrylate (PUA) systems, so there is a considerable necessity to investigate the mechanism of active diluents in the photocured reaction of PUA systems. In this work, the effects of α-methyl groups along the chains of diluent molecules on the photoreaction kinetics, photocurable 3D printing, mechanical and mechanical properties, and thermodynamic characteristics of PUAs were investigated employing hydroxyethyl methacrylate and hydroxyethyl acrylate as active diluents, respectively. The relationship between chemical structure and kinetics of PUA systems was also elucidated by using dynamic mechanical analysis tests. The results demonstrated that the α-methyl group blocks the migration of reactive radicals, reduces the efficiency of the photoreaction, and causes an increase in the rigidity and strength of the molecular chain. This study not only revealed the effect of α-methyl on the kinetic mechanical and thermal performance of PUA systems but also paves the way for the development of a new class of photosensitive PUA materials used for the photocurable 3D printing technology.

RESUMO

With the growing adoption of wide bandgap devices in power electronic applications, current sensor design for switching current measurement has become more important. The demands for high accuracy, high bandwidth, low cost, compact size, and galvanic isolation pose significant design challenges. The conventional modeling approach for bandwidth analysis of current transformer sensors assumes that the magnetizing inductance remains constant, which does not always hold true in high-frequency operations. This can result in inaccurate bandwidth estimation and affect the overall performance of the current sensor. To address this limitation, this paper provides a comprehensive analysis of nonlinear modeling and bandwidth, considering the varying magnetizing inductance in a wide frequency range. A precise and straightforward arctangent-based fitting algorithm was proposed to accurately emulate the nonlinear feature, and the fitting results were compared with the magnetic core's datasheet to confirm its accuracy. This approach contributes to more accurate bandwidth prediction in field applications. In addition, the droop phenomenon of the current transformer and saturation effects are analyzed in detail. For high-voltage applications, different insulation methods are compared and an optimized insulation process is proposed. Finally, the design process is experimentally validated. The bandwidth of the proposed current transformer is around 100 MHz and the cost is around $20, making it a low-cost and high-bandwidth solution for switching current measurements in power electronic applications.

RESUMO

Clinical observations showed that schizophrenia (SCZ) patients reported little or no pain under various conditions that are commonly associated with intense painful sensations, leading to a higher risk of morbidity and mortality. However, this phenomenon has received little attention and its underlying neural mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we conducted two experiments combining psychophysics, electroencephalography (EEG), and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) techniques to investigate neural mechanisms of pain insensitivity in SCZ patients. Specifically, we adopted a stimulus-response paradigm with brief stimuli of different sensory modalities (i.e., nociceptive, non-nociceptive somatosensory, and auditory) to test whether pain insensitivity in SCZ patients is supra-modal or modality-specific, and used EEG and fMRI techniques to clarify its neural mechanisms. We observed that perceived intensities to nociceptive stimuli were significantly smaller in SCZ patients than healthy controls, whereas perceived intensities to non-nociceptive somatosensory and auditory stimuli were not significantly different. The behavioral results were confirmed by stimulus-evoked brain responses sampled by EEG and fMRI techniques, thus verifying the modality-specific nature of the modulation of nociceptive information processing in SCZ patients. Additionally, significant group differences were observed in the spectral power of alpha oscillations in prestimulus EEG and the seed-based functional connectivity in resting-state fMRI (seeds: the thalamus and periaqueductal gray that are key nodes in ascending and descending pain pathways respectively), suggesting a possible contribution of cortical-subcortical dysfunction to the phenomenon. Overall, our study provides insight into the neural mechanisms of pain insensitivity in SCZ and highlights a need for systematic assessments of their pain-related diseases.

RESUMO

Heavy background pollutant loads pose a difficult problem for the assessment and management of regional water quality, especially in areas where surface water quality is less affected by anthropogenic pollution. Deducting background values from those derived from water quality monitoring is a new method for evaluating surface water environments in areas with heavy background loads. In this study, river source reserves in Heilongjiang province were evaluated with an export coefficient model (ECM) that considers the rainfall influence factor, has an improved timescale, and is based on synchronous rainfall monitoring data and concentrations. Moreover, the ECM was combined with a mechanism model. The chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen, and other water quality indices are affected by background environment, and therefore, suitable export coefficients for the study area were determined and a regression equation between the rainfall influence factor and precipitation was established. By combining the ECM and mechanism model, the concentrations entering the river during eight rainfall events in 2018 were predicted, and the background value was calculated to evaluate surface water quality. The predicted values were found to approximate the monitored values. Therefore, this study is of great significance for water quality assessment and management in areas with heavy background pollutant loads.

RESUMO

The G-quadruplex aptamer is a high-order structure formed by folding of guanine-rich DNA or RNA. The recognition and assembly of G-quadruplex and compounds are important to find biocompatible drugs. Herein, triphenylamine conjugated 4, 4-difluoro-4-bora-3a, 4a-diaza-s-indacene (BODIPY) compound (BPTPA) was synthesized, and the interaction of BPTPA with G4 DNA was studied. It is found that BPTPA selectively binds with G3T3 G4 DNA forming a water-compatible nanocomplex (BPTPA-G3T3). BPTPA-G3T3 can image mitochondria and inhibit the expression of TrxR2. Cytotoxicity results indicate BPTPA-G3T3 can decrease the membrane potential of mitochondria and inhibit the proliferation of BGC-823 cancer cells. Therefore, BPTPA-G3T3 can be the biocompatible attenuator of mitochondria for cancer image and chemotherapy.

RESUMO

INTRODUCTION: Erycibe obtusifolia and E. schmidtii are widely used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to treat joint pain and rheumatoid arthritis. With the reduction of wild E. obtusifolia and E. schmidtii resources, Porana sinensis has been widely used as a substitute. However, few studies have been conducted on the chemical composition and quality control of P. sinensis. OBJECTIVE: To clarify the chemical composition and improve the quality control of P. sinensis. METHODOLOGY: We developed an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography electrospray ionisation Q-Exactive Focus tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-ESI-Q-Exactive Focus-MS/MS) method to characterise the chemical constituents of P. sinensis. A strategy based on a combination of high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) and direct analysis in real-time (DART) ion source was proposed for the identification of alkaloid components in P. sinensis. Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) autography for 2,2'-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl free radical (DPPH˙) and TLC bioautography for xanthine oxidase were used to rapidly screen marker compounds for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) determination of P. sinensis. Based on the selected marker compounds, a HPLC method for the quantitative determination of eight marker compounds in P. sinensis was developed. RESULTS: Eighteen compounds in P. sinensis were identified by UHPLC-Q-Exactive MS. Taken together with the results of TLC autography and TLC bioautography, eight compounds were chosen as marker compounds for HPLC determination of P. sinensis. The alkaloid components in P. sinensis were identified as Baogongteng A and Baogongteng C by DART-MS. CONCLUSION: We systematically clarified the chemical composition of P. sinensis for the first time, and potentially improved its quality control. These results should promote the application of P. sinensis as a new resource for Caulis Erycibes.

RESUMO

The antioxidant effect of salidroside has been proven, but its role in liver injury is poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the protective effects and mechanism of salidroside on liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) in vivo. Mice were pretreated with salidroside (60 mg/kg, intraperitoneally injected, i.p.) once per day for 14 consecutive days and then administered with CCl4 (15.95 g/kg, i.p.) for 24 h to produce a liver injury model. Salidroside attenuated hepatic transaminase elevation in serum and ameliorated liver steatosis and necrosis, thereby suggesting its protective effect on the liver. Salidroside antagonized CCl4-induced toxicity by equilibrating antioxidation system, thereby inhibiting reactive oxygen species accumulation, and restoring mitochondrial structure and function. Salidroside exerts antioxidant and liver-protective effects by selectively inhibiting the activation of genes, including growth arrest and DNA -damage-inducible 45 α (Gadd45a), mitogen-activated protein kinase 7 (Mapk7), and related RAS viral oncogene homolog 2 (Rras2), which induce oxidative stress in the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway. These results revealed that salidroside can protect the liver from CCl4-induced injury by resisting oxidative stress and protecting mitochondrial function.

RESUMO

Nanostructure composites of ferromagnetic materials embedded in nanoporous carbon (NC) derived from metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted enormous attention due to their potential application in many fields, such as microwave absorption, energy storage, and conversion. The rational design of nanocomposites holds a determinant factor for overcoming the challenges involving the microwave absorption performance. Herein, CoS2/NC, CoP/NC, and CoS2-xPx/NC with a rhombic dodecahedral structure have been successfully fabricated by using the template cobalt-based MOFs (ZIF-67). A morphology analysis indicates that ferromagnetic nanoparticles are embedded in NC matrix. It is obvious that the rhombic dodecahedron can be maintained after the phosphorization and sulfurization of Co/NC derived from the thermal decomposition of ZIF-67. The microwave absorption performance can obviously be improved by the phosphorization and sulfurization of Co/NC. CoS2-xPx/NC exhibits an excellent microwave absorption property and the minimum reflection loss (RL) of CoS2-xPx/NC can reach -68 dB at 14.6 GHz with a thickness of 1.5 mm. An RL value less than -10 dB can be achieved in the microwave frequency range of 12.7-17.3 GHz (4.6 GHz) with a thickness of 1.5 mm for CoS2-xPx/NC. This article offers a novel way to fabricate cobalt-based materials/carbon composites for an excellent microwave absorber.

RESUMO

Morus alba L has long been used as fodder and as a traditional medicine. The different parts of M. alba (Cortex Mori, Ramulus Mori, Folium Mori and Fructus Mori) have different bioactivities; however, most current evidence is focused on anti-diabetic properties. In spite of their widespread use, few studies have compared the chemical composition and activity against α-glucosidase of the various medicinal parts of M. alba. In this study, we developed an HPLC method for simultaneous quality control and discrimination of Cortex Mori, Ramulus Mori, Folium Mori and Fructus Mori using 13 marker compounds. We found that quercetin, morin, kuwanon G, sanggenon C, morusin, mulberroside A and rutin were chemically distinct among the various medicinal parts of M. alba. A spectrum-effect relationship method was established to compare α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of various batches of samples to determine the activity of the primary active components against α-glucosidase. Taken together with molecular docking data, we found that prenylated flavonoids (morin, sanggenon C, kuwanon G and morusin), flavonols (kaempferol, quercetin, rutin and isoquercitrin) and alkaloids (1-deoxynojirimycin) were small molecule α-glucosidase inhibitory ingredients. In conclusion, we laid a solid foundation for effective substance identification in various parts of M. alba, and simultaneously provided a basis for their quality control.

RESUMO

In order to study the structure-activity relationships of xanthene derivatives, four series of N-substituted 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthene-3,11-dicarboxamide derivatives were synthesized. The structures of all compounds were identified by ¹H-NMR, HR-MS and IR spectra, in which compounds 6a-h were further identified by 13C-NMR spectra. The in vitro antitumor activity of the synthesized compounds was tested by MTT assay. Most of them displayed strong inhibitory activity on human hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines (SK-HEP-1, HepG2 and SMMC-7721 cells) and acute promyelocytic leukemia NB4 cells. Compounds 6c-6e exhibited significant inhibitory activity against NB4 cells with IC50 values of 0.52 µM and 0.76 µM, respectively, much lower than 5.31 µM of the positive control As2O3.

RESUMO

The paper aims at providing a framework to calculate the agro-eco-compensation standard based on the systems agro-ecological concept of embodied energy as emergy. We have proposed a calculation system of eco-compensation standard for sustainable agricultural development based on the convertibility between emergy and price. According to our calculation, the total energy of agricultural production in Yongding River Basin was 3.45 E + 16 Sej/ha (the unit emergy value, expressed in solar emergy joules per unit) in terms of the renewable resources, nonrenewable resources, material inputs, and service costs. The energy of renewable and nonrenewable resources was 1.59 E + 16 and 1.86E + 16 Sej/ha, respectively. The ESI (environmental sustainability index) of the study area was 0.1056, indicating that its agricultural production was in a seriously unsustainable condition. To realize the sustainable agricultural production in the watershed, the downstream governments should pay $21.81 M (¥135 million) approximately to upstream governments for water and soil conservation. The results of the present study suggested that the emergy-based calculation method of agro-eco-compensation standard is feasible to a certain degree.

RESUMO

Toutongning capsule (TTNC) is a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) with good effect for treating migraine in clinical application. In this paper, a systems pharmacology method was carried out to study the TNF mechanism of the TTNC on the migraine. First, the ingredients for TTNC were collected from TCM databases, and ADME properties prediction was firstly applied to screen out the active compounds of TTNC. Then, the target searching and identification was performed by using CSDT model, and the targets were mapped to the migraine disease to determine the active targets through some common databases like TTD. To obtain the targets related with TNF signaling pathway, KEGG pathway analysis was performed by DAVID online analysis tool. Finally, the "herbs-compounds-targets" network was built by Cytoscape software. According to the results of degree and betweenness in the network, the key active compounds and targets were determined to explore the TNF mechanism for TTNC. Results showed that 19 active compounds and 8 targets played a crucial role in the treatment of migraine by TNF pathway for TTNC. This work provided a new perspective to deepen the understanding of the TNF signaling pathway mechanism in migraine treatment by TTNC, and may provide a necessary theoretical basis for the determination of effective markers and the clinical research of this medicine.

RESUMO

Tuberculosis (TB) and human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection are closely intertwined, with one-quarter of TB/HIV coinfected deaths among people died of TB. Effector CD8(+) T cells play a crucial role in the control of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) and HIV-1 infection in coinfected patients. Adoptive transfer of a multitude of effector CD8(+) T cells is an appealing strategy to impose improved anti-MTB/HIV-1 activity onto coinfected individuals. Due to extensive existence of heterologous immunity, that is, T cells cross-reactive with peptides encoded by related or even very dissimilar pathogens, it is reasonable to find a single T cell receptor (TCR) recognizing both MTB and HIV-1 antigenic peptides. In this study, a single TCR specific for both MTB Ag85B199-207 peptide and HIV-1 Env120-128 peptide was screened out from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a HLA-A*0201(+) healthy individual using complementarity determining region 3 spectratype analysis and transferred to primary CD8(+) T cells using a recombinant retroviral vector. The bispecificity of the TCR gene-modified CD8(+) T cells was demonstrated by elevated secretion of interferon-γ, tumour necrosis factor-α, granzyme B and specific cytolytic activity after antigen presentation of either Ag85B199-207 or Env120-128 by autologous dendritic cells. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first report proposing to produce responses against two dissimilar antigenic peptides of MTB and HIV-1 simultaneously by transfecting CD8(+) T cells with a single TCR. Taken together, T cells transduced with the additional bispecific TCR might be a useful strategy in immunotherapy for MTB/HIV-1 coinfected individuals.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Medical disputes have become a serious issue in China. A crisis cannot usually be predicted and managed through a cost-benefit strategy; therefore, researchers believe that prevention is better than containment and post-crisis resolution. This study aimed to identify solutions to prevent medical disputes in surgical cases through early warning and intervention of potential cases. METHODS: A case-control study was conducted to identify early detection indicators of medical disputes in the surgical treatment of liver cancer through Delphi consultation and logistic regression on the basis of which interventions were undertaken to prevent potential cases. RESULTS: The dispute detection model was composed of patient age (P = 0.08), frequency of hospitalization (P = 0.003), length of hospital stay (P < 0.001), terminal condition (P = 0.004), unplanned reoperation (P = 0.048), blood transfusion volume (P = 0.006), and arrearage (P < 0.001). Risk management interventions through quality improvement and enhanced communication in cases with an abnormal performance indicator proved effective in practice. CONCLUSIONS: This study explored the use of an evidence-based medical risk management strategy for medical disputes that involved early detection and intervention and could potentially be adopted by hospitals to prevent medical disputes.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influencing factors for psychological and behavioral problems in school-age twins and to provide a basis for reducing the incidence of these problems. METHODS: The psychological and behavioral problems were assessed in 147 pairs of twins aged 6-12 years in Huhhot, China, using the Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). The Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scales and Family General Condition Questionnaire were used to collect data. RESULTS: The overall detection rate of psychological and behavioral problems in these children was 24.1%; the detection rate of thought problems (15.3%) was the highest, and the detection rate of physical discomforts (3.4%) was the lowest. According to the multiple logistic regression analysis, full-term birth or not was significantly associated with withdrawn behavior and total score on the CBCL (P<0.05); temperament type was significantly associated with thought problems and overall detection rate of psychological and behavioral problems (P<0.05); father's child-bearing age was significantly associated with thought problems (P<0.05); family cohesion was significantly associated with discipline violation (P<0.05); family adaptability was significantly associated with thought problems (P<0.05); family rearing patterns were significantly associated with socialization problems (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Children's temperament type, full-term birth or not, father's child-bearing age, family cohesion, family adaptability, and family rearing patterns are the main influencing factors for the psychological and behavioral problems in school-age twins.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Pre-diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) are associated with an unhealthy lifestyle and pose extremely high costs to the healthcare system. In this study, we aim to explore whether individualized aerobic exercise (AEx) and low carbohydrate diet (LCh) intervention affect hepatic fat content (HFC) in pre-diabetes via modification of gut microbiota composition and other post-interventional effects. METHODS/DESIGN: A 6-month randomized intervention with 6-month follow-up is conducted from January 2013 to December 2015. The target sample size for intervention is 200 postmenopausal women and middle-aged men aged 50-65 year-old with pre-diabetes and NAFLD. The qualified subjects are randomized into 4 groups with 50 subjects in each group: 1 = AEx, 2 = LCh, 3 = AEx + LCh, and 4 = control. In addition, two age-matched reference groups (5 = pre-diabetes without NAFLD (n = 50) and 6 = Healthy without pre-diabetes or NAFLD (n = 50)) are included. The exercise program consists of progressive and variable aerobic exercise (intensity of 60 to 75% of initial fitness level, 3-5 times/week and 30-60 min/time). The diet program includes dietary consultation plus supplementation with a special lunch meal (40% of total energy intake/day) which aims to reduce the amount of carbohydrate consumption (30%). The control and reference groups are advised to maintain their habitual habits during the intervention. The primary outcome measures are HFC, serum metabolomics and gut microbiota composition. The secondary outcome measures include body composition and cytokines. In addition, socio-psychological aspects, social support, physical activity and diet will be performed by means of questionnaire and interview. DISCUSSION: Specific individualized exercise and diet intervention in this study offers a more efficient approach for liver fat reduction and diabetes prevention via modification of gut microbiota composition. Besides, the study explores the importance of incorporating fitness assessment and exercise in the management of patients with pre-diabetes and fatty liver disorders. If our program is shown to be effective, it will open new strategies to combat these chronic diseases. TRIAL REGISTRATION: Current Controlled Trials: ISRCTN42622771.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Observational studies consistently indicate an association between early-life body mass index (BMI) and several cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). However, the causal relationship remains uncertain. The primary objective of this study was to assess the causal relationship between early-life BMI and six types of CVDs using the Mendelian Randomization (MR) approach. METHODS: The dataset for this study was derived from large-scale, summary-level Genome-Wide Association Studies. Specifically, the following datasets we used, early-life BMI (n = 61 111, age = 2-10), heart failure (HF) dataset (n = 977 323), atrial fibrillation (AF) dataset (n = 1 030 836), coronary artery disease (CAD) dataset (n = 184 305), peripheral artery disease (PAD) dataset (n = 243 060), deep venous thrombosis (DVT) dataset (n = 1 500 861) and myocardial infarction (MI) dataset (n = 638 000). Multiple MR methods were utilized to evaluate the causal relationship between exposure and outcomes, accompanied by sensitivity analysis. RESULTS: Early-life BMI positively correlates with the risk of developing the six distinct CVDs included in this study. Specifically, elevated BMI during childhood is associated with a 31.9% risk for HF (Odds ratio [OR] = 1.319, 95% CI [1.160 to 1.499], p = 2.33 × 10-5), an 18.3% risk for AF (R = 1.183, 95% CI [1.088 to 1.287], p = 8.22 × 10-5), an 14.8% risk for CAD (OR = 1.148, 95% CI [1.028 to 1.283], p = 1.47 × 10-2), a 40.5% risk for PAD (OR = 1.405, 95% CI [1.233 to 1.600], p = 3.10 × 10-7) and 12.0% risk for MI (OR = 1.120, 95% CI [1.017 to 1.234], p = 2.18 × 10-2). Interestingly, the risk for deep venous thrombosis only increased by 0.5% (OR = 1.005, 95% CI [1.001 to 1.008], p = 2.13 × 10-3). CONCLUSION: Genetically inferred early-life BMI is significantly associated with six distinct CVDs. This indicates that elevated early-life BMI is a significant risk factor for multiple cardiovascular disorders.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Thyroid nodule (TN) is a highly prevalent clinical endocrine disease. Many countries have formed guidelines on the prevention and treatment of TN based on extensive research. However, there is a scarcity of TN-related literature based on bibliometrics. OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to evaluate the scientific achievements and progress of TN research from a global perspective by investigating the literature for 20 years through bibliometrics. METHODS: We searched the literature on TN in the core collection of the Web of Science database from 2002 to 2021 and used the Citespace software to analyze the co-authorship, co-citation, and co-occurrence of countries, institutions, authors, keywords, and co-cited literature. RESULTS: We retrieved 12319 documents related to TN. The literature on TN has been growing since 2002. The United States has contributed the largest proportion of TN papers (20.64%), followed by China, Italy, and South Korea. The United States ranked first in terms of centrality (0.38). Haugen BR, Gharib H, and Cibas ES are the top three most cited authors. The papers published in Thyroid were cited most frequently (7952 times). The most prominent keywords were management, cancer, fine needle aspiration, diagnosis, malignant tumor, thyroid cancer, ultrasound, biopsy, benign, surgery, ablation, and cytology. All keywords could be divided into three categories: diagnosis stratification, treatment, and cancer. As far as potential hot spots are concerned, the keywords that have recently burst strongly and are still continuing are: "Association Guideline" (2018-2021), "Radiofrequency Ablation" (2017-2021), "Classification" (2019-2021), and "Data System" (2017-2021). CONCLUSION: Based on the current trends, the number of publications on TN will continue to increase. The United States is the most active contributor to research in this field. Previous literature focused on stratification, cancer, surgery, and ablation, and there were different opinions on the stratification of diagnosis. There were relatively few studies on pathogenesis and treatment using medicine. More focus will be placed on association guidelines, radiofrequency ablation, classification, and data system, which may be the next popular topics in TN research.

RESUMO

The novel composite photocatalytic material perylene diimides/Fe2O3@C (PDIs/Fe2O3@C) was constructed by a simple hydrothermal-calcination method and an oil bath method. 20 % PDIs/Fe2O3@C displayed a 16.4-fold increase in the rate of tetracycline (TC) removal over Fe2O3@C at 8 min. The main factor that enhanced photocatalytic performance was due to the combination of PDIs with Fe2O3@C, which effectively improved the phenomenon during the self-assembly of highly agglomerative PDIs, increased the specific surface area of Fe2O3@C, exposed more reaction sites, and promoted the activation of peroxymonosulfate (PMS) by Fe2+/Fe3+; and secondly, the composite of two different materials, both organic and inorganic, which effectively promoted the photogenerated electron transfer and the separation of electron-hole pairs, the a new S-scheme electron transport pathway is formed, which effectively promoted the photogenerated electron transfer as well as the e--h+ separation, which was more favorable for the activation of PMS. The whole reaction pathway and product toxicity were thoroughly evaluated by Fukui function calculations, Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (LC-MS), and Toxicity Estimation Software Tool (T.E.S.T.) simulation results, which demonstrated the rationality of the degradation pathway and the greatly reduced product toxicity. Moreover, the composites were effective and versatile for all other antibiotics (chlortetracycline (CTC), ciprofloxacin (CIP) and sulfadiazine (SDZ)). As an advanced oxidation process, the activation of PDIs/Fe2O3@C under visible light shows its potential application in pollutant degradation, which provides new perspectives and ideas for further effective treatment of real wastewater.

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the imaging features of rare tumors of nasal cavity and sinuses, and to improve the understanding of these diseases, thereby aiding clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:The CT and MRI findings of 79 cases of rare neoplasm of nasal cavity and sinuses confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed, and the imaging features were summarized. Results:Among the 79 cases, there were 16 cases of neuroendocrine carcinoma, most showing expansive and infiltrative bone destruction without hyperosteogeny and sclerosis. The sphenoid sinus exhibited a "pigeon" shape. In 28 cases of malignant melanoma, MRI signals were diverse, typical signals were rare, but mixed signals were more common. In 12 cases of rhabdomyosarcoma, MRI enhancement mostly showed "grape-like" enhancement and partial ring enhancement; There were 10 cases of olfactory neuroblastoma, the lesions were consistent with the distribution area of olfactory mucosa, most of them were lobulated, marginal nodules, and "flower ring" enhancement, and 2 cases grew across intracranial and external, with multiple cystic lesions and surrounding flaky edema bands. In 5 cases of solitary fibrous tumor, Benign tumors had regular shape and uniform density, while malignant tumors had irregular shape and uneven density, The enhancement was obviously uneven and showed a "pattern" change. There were 2 cases of sarcomatoid carcinoma, both with lobed appearance, uneven density, lamellar low-density shadow, and osteolytic bone destruction. In 4 cases of schwannoma, the enhancement showed obvious inhomogeneous enhancement. One case showed cystic necrosis, one case showed calcification, and the surrounding structure was compressed without damage. There was 1 case of neurofibroma, with many cystic components, low signal separation and compartmentalized enhancement. One case of paraganglioma showed moderate enhancement in the arterial phase and progressive enhancement in the venous phase, accompanied by significant swelling bone destruction. Conclusion:Rare tumors of nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses have distinctive imaging features. CT and MRI can effectively show the extent of the lesions and the degree of infiltration into adjacent tissues and organs, which is helpful for early clinical diagnosis and staging. However, definitive diagnosis still depends on pathology and immunohistochemistry.
