[Management of a patient in condition of preterminal chronic renal insufficiency as criterion for probability assessment of risk factors].

It was modified the instant method of Caplan-Meiyer (worked out for the characteristic of the patients revealing) for calculation of a new criterion--preservation of the patient in the condition pre terminal chronic renal insufficiency (CRI). It was determined 102,5; 112,5; 122,5; 132,5; 142,5; 152,5; 162,5; 172,5; 182,5; 192,5; 202,5; 212,5; 222,5; 232.5; 242,5-monthly preservation of the patient in the condition pre terminal CRI, which was formed: (98.0 +/- 1.1)%, (92.8 +/- 1.8)%, (85.6 +/- 2.1)%, (75.9 +/- 2.4)%, (62.8 +/- 2.7)%, (51.0 +/- 2.5)%, (39.9 +/- 2.4)%, (30.7 +/- 2.1)%, (22.9 +/- 1.9)%, (17.0 +/- 1.6)%, (11.8 +/- 1.5)%, (7.9 +/- 1.3)%, (4.6 +/- 1.1)%, (1.9 +/- 0.6)%. It was shown that size of this parameter changed considerably subject to the initial reason of CRI the patient sex, adequateness of the medical providing, from harmful habits (smoking) and the presence of accompanying pathologies (comorbidity coefficient).

Nautical speciality poses specific requirements to mental health. Therefore, methods for early detection of pathopsychologic changes are widely used at preliminary and periodic medical examinations of seamen. The article covers necessity of mandatory psychophysiologic selection for enrollees to nautical educational institutions.

[Accumulation and prevalence of consequences of head injury in the population]. / Protsess nakopleniia i rasprostraneniia posledstvii travmy golovy sredi naseleniia.

The paper presents some methodological problems concerning modeling of the processes of accumulation and prevalence of the pathological states caused by head injury in the population. The trend in the number of annual cases of new injuries of the head is estimated for at least 10 years for different age groups of the population. The average indices are estimated together with the limits of their fluctuations. Taking into consideration the mean expectation of life both the average annual quantity of the individuals with head injury in the anamnesis and probability of their accumulation are determined. This index equals to 22.22 per 1000. The frequency of the craniocerebral traumas was estimated in comparison with the total quantity of head injuries: 18.7 +/- 3.18% for children; 38.6 +/- 3.97% for the adults.
