In this rapidly evolving landscape, primary care physicians (PCPs) must be familiar with laws surrounding abortion care in their own and neighboring states. PCPs must also be prepared to expedite abortion care by sharing resources, obtaining testing when needed, and counseling patients about expected outcomes following abortion.
