RESUMEN
INTRODUCCIÓN: El trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad (TDAH) es un síndrome conductual con una prevalencia del 5,3%. Tanto desde el mundo sanitario como educativo se vierten esfuerzos en conocer y tratar la patología y sus efectos sobre el individuo, por lo que es necesario saber dónde encontrar evidencia científica. El objetivo del trabajo es identificar las revistas más representativas sobre TDAH. METODOLOGÍA: Las fuentes de consulta han sido MEDLINE y SCImago Journal & Country Rank, año 2012. Para el análisis se han utilizado los indicadores de producción, dispersión y repercusión. RESULTADOS: La revista con mayor producción sobre TDAH es el Journal of Attention Disorders y la publicación con mayor repercusión es el Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. DISCUSIÓN: Los resultados muestran que no hay una relación directa entre revistas con mayor producción y mayor repercusión, no siendo posible identificar una sola revista como la mejor
INTRODUCTION: attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD) is a behavioral syndrome with a prevalence of 5.3%. Both from the healthcare and educational efforts are poured in knowing and treating the disease and its effects on the individual, so it is necessary to know where to find scientific evidence. The objective of this study is to identify the most representative magazines about ADHD. METHODOLOGY: The reference sources were MEDLINE and SCImago Journal & Country Rank, year 2012. For the analysis we used the indicators of production, spread, and impact. RESULTS: The magazine with ADHD increased production of the Journal of Attention Disorders and publication with the greatest impact is the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. DISCUSSION: The results show that there is a direct relationship between journals with higher production and greater impact, not possible to identify a single magazine as the best
