Introduction: This cross-sectional study evaluated the involvement of patients with advanced colorectal cancer (CRC) in treatment decision-making, assessed the treatment efficacy according to their self-reports, and investigated the influencing factors. Methods: Patients with advanced CRC were recruited from 19 hospitals from March 2020 to March 2021 by a multi-stage multi-level sampling method. A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect demographic and clinical characteristics, involvement of CRC patients in treatment decision-making, treatment methods, and self-reported efficacy. Univariate and unordered multinomial logistic regression analyses were used to evaluate the factors affecting the involvement in treatment decision-making and self-reported efficacy. Results: We enrolled 4533 patients with advanced CRC. The average age at diagnosis was 58.7 ± 11.8 years. For the treatment method, 32.4% of patients received surgery combined with chemotherapy, 13.1% of patients underwent surgery combined with chemotherapy and targeted therapy, and 9.7% of patients were treated with surgery alone. For treatment decision-making, 7.0% of patients were solely responsible for decision-making, 47.0% of patients shared treatment decision-making with family members, 19.0% of patients had family members solely responsible for treatment decision-making, and 27.0% of patients had their physicians solely responsible for treatment decision-making. Gender, age, education level, family income, marital status, treatment cost, hospital type, and treatment method were significantly associated with the involvement of patients in treatment decision-making. A total of 3824 patients submitted self-reported efficacy evaluations during treatment. The percentage of patients with good self-reported efficacy was 76.5% (for patients treated for the first time), 61.7% (for patients treated for the second time), and 43.2% (for patients treated after recurrence and metastasis), respectively. Occupation, education level, average annual family income, place of residence, time since cancer diagnosis, hospital type, clinical stage, targeted therapy, and involvement in treatment decision-making were the main influencing factors of self-reported efficacy of treatment. Discussion: Conclusively, CRC patients are not highly dominant in treatment decision-making and more likely to make treatment decisions with their family and doctors. Timely and effective communication between doctors and patients can bolster patient involvement in treatment decision-making.

To date, it still remains unknown how ß-conglycinin, a major soybean allergen, crosses intestinal epithelial barrier to reach immune cells. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the pathway and molecular mechanism of ß-conglycinin absorption and transport across intestinal mucosal epithelium using a ß-conglycinin allergic piglet model. Ten-day old piglets were orally sensitized with diets containing 2% and 4% ß-conglycinin. The digestion, absorption and transport of ß-conglycinin in gastrointestinal tract was investigated. The results showed that ß-conglycinin had a certain resistance to gastrointestinal digestion, and the digestion-resistant subunits and fragments were absorbed into the intestinal mucosa and then induced an anaphylaxis in early weaned piglets. The absorption occurred in the form of IgE-allergen immune complex through transcellular pathway with CD23 as the receptor. These results provided important clues for using the pathway and molecule as inhibitor target to prevent and alleviate soybean ß-conglycinin allergy in infants.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the predictive value of various indicators in the application of C-CHEWS (Cardiac-Children's Hospital Early Warning Score) during the transition period of infants with left-to-right shunt congenital heart disease after surgery. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 229 infants who underwent surgery for left-to-right shunt congenital heart disease at a tertiary pediatric hospital in Anhui Province from January 2019 to March 2022. The infants' status was evaluated using C-CHEWS scores within 1 hour of transfer from the ICU to the transitional ward. A cutoff score 6 was used, with scores ≤6 defining the control group and scores ≥7 defining the observation group. The predictive value of various indicators during this period was analyzed. Results: The 229 infant patients were divided into the control group (n = 154) and the observation group (n = 75). All infants received sufficient oxygen inhalation, and 210 infants underwent VIS (Vasoactive-inotropic Score) evaluation, with 137 in the control group and 73 in the observation group, showing a statistically significant difference between the two groups. All infants were discharged without recurrence of ICU admission within 48 hours. In the C-CHEWS evaluation, medical staff attention and parental concern were assigned 1 point, while the consciousness level received 0 points. The respiratory system scores ranged from 2 to 3 points without a statistically significant difference, whereas the cardiovascular system scores ranged from 0 to 3 points and showed a statistically significant difference. Among the 75 observation group patients, 43 were boys, accounting for 57.33%. Conclusions: During the transition period after surgery for congenital heart disease in infants, monitoring the cardiovascular system, along with the effective application of VIS, through C-CHEWS scoring, can help detect warning signs. Focusing on managing cardiovascular function is crucial to reduce the risk of disease deterioration, promoting comfort, and aiding in the infants' recovery.

Odorant-binding proteins (OBPs) and chemosensory proteins (CSPs), which are thought to play key roles in the olfactory recognition of insects, can be induced by the odorants they recognize, but little is known about the underlying regulatory mechanisms. Here, we found that NlOBP8 and NlCSP10 play coordinative roles in the chemoreception of brown planthoppers (BPHs) to the volatile component linalool. Also, the relative mRNA levels of NlObp8 and NlCp10 decreased upon exposure to linalool. Further, homeotic protein distal-less (Dll), which was also highly expressed in the antennae, was found to positively regulate the transcription of NlObp8 and NlCsp10 directly. Knocking down NlDll expression downregulated the expression of many additional olfactory functional genes and impaired the repellent behavior of BPHs to linalool. Our findings elucidate the direct regulatory role of Dll in BPHs' olfactory plasticity to linalool through modulating the olfactory functional gene expression and could provide guidance to sustainably control BPHs in the field.

Fluorescent lateral flow immunoassay (LFA) is one of the most common analytical platforms for point-of-care testing (POCT), which is capable of facile and early screening of biomarkers. Notably, fluorescent probes play a decisive role in analytical performances of LFA. Herein, we report a novel LFA based on the rare earth doped nanoparticles (RENPs) emitting in the second near-infrared (NIR-II) window for the detection of biomarkers, such as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Benefiting from the dual fluorescent emission at NIR-II window, strong fluorescent penetration, low autofluorescence and excellent photostability of RENPs, this proposed NIR-II LFA displays a good linear relationship ranging from 1 to 320 ng mL-1. The detection limit is as low as 0.37 ng mL-1, which is of 13.5 times lower than the clinical cutoff value. Overall, NIR-II LFA biosensing platform based RENPs not only exhibits high sensitivity, accuracy and specificity, but also have characteristics of rapidity, simplicity and low cost. It holds high potential for early diagnosis of tumor biomarkers in POCT.

Flavonoids are rich in tea plants (Camellia sinensis), and responsible for the flavor and healthful benefits of tea beverage. The anthocyanin levels in the purple tender shoots are higher than in the general green leaves of tea plant, which provide special materials to search metabolic mechanisms of flavonoid enrichment in plant. In this work, flavonoid differences between purple and green shoots from tea cultivars "Zijuan" (ZJ) and "Yunkang10" (YK-10) were investigated through metabolomic analysis, and mechanisms for their difference were surveyed by comparative transcriptomic and proteomic analysis. Levels of 34 flavonoids were different between ZJ and YK-10 shoots. Among them, 8 and 6 were marker metabolites in ZJ and YK-10, respectively. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs), differentially expressed proteins (DEPs), and different-level metabolites (DLMs) between ZJ and YK-10 were researched, respectively; and interactions including DEG-DLM, DEP-DLM, DEG-DEP, and DEG-DEP-DLM were analyzed; the contents of 18 characteristic flavonoids in tea leaves and expressions of 34 flavonoid metabolic genes were measured to verify the omics results. Integrated above analyses, a proposed model of flavonoids biosynthesis in tea shoots were established. The differential expression of the leucoanthocyanidin reductase (LAR), anthocyanidin synthase (ANS), anthocyanidin reductase (ANR), UDPG-flavonoid glucosyltransferase (UGT) 75L12 and 94P1 at gene level, and the ANS, ANR, and UGT78A15 at protein level, were closely associated with differences in flavonoids between ZJ and YK-10 shoot. Together, this study provides new information on the flavonoid accumulation mechanism in tea plant.

Odorant binding proteins (OBPs) play an important role in insect peripheral olfactory systems and exploring the physiological function of OBPs could facilitate the understanding of insects' chemical communication. Here, the functional analysis of an antenna-based NlugOBP8 from brown planthopper (BPH) Nilaparvata lugens (Stål) was performed both in vitro and in vivo. Recombinant NlugOBP8 exhibited strong binding affinity to 13 out of 26 rice plant volatiles and could form a stable complex with 9 of them according to the fluorescence binding and fluorescence quenching experiments. Circular dichroism spectra demonstrated that six volatiles could give rise to significant conformational change of recombinant NlugOBP8. H-tube olfactometer bioassay confirmed that BPHs were significantly attracted by nerolidol and significantly repelled by linalool, caryophyllene oxide, and terpinolene, respectively. Antennae of dsNlugOBP8-injected BPHs exhibited significantly lower electrophysiological response to linalool and caryophyllene oxide. Moreover, the repellent responses of BPHs to these two volatiles were also impaired upon silencing NlugOBP8. These data suggest that NlugOBP8 is involved in recognizing linalool and caryophyllene oxide and provide additional target for the sustainable control of BPHs.

The robotic navigation task is to find a collision-free path among a mass of stationary or migratory obstacles. Various well-established algorithms have been applied to solve navigation tasks. It is necessary to test the performance of designed navigation algorithms in practice. However, it seems an extremely unwise choice to implement them in a real environment directly unless their performance is guaranteed to be acceptable. Otherwise, it takes time to test navigation algorithms because of a long training process, and imperfect performance may cause damage if the robot collides with obstacles. Hence, it is of key significance to develop a mobile robot analysis platform to simulate the real environment which has the ability to replicate the exact application scenario and be operated in a simple manner. This paper introduces a brand new analysis platform named robot navigation analysis platform (RoNAP), which is an open-source platform developed using the Python environment. A user-friendly interface supports its realization for the evaluation of various navigation algorithms. A variety of existing algorithms were able to achieve desired test results on this platform, indicating its feasibility and efficiency for navigation algorithm analysis.

In microsurgery, it is always difficult to accurately identify the blood supply with ease, such as vascular anastomosis, digit replantation, skin avulsion reconstruction and flap transplantation. Near-infrared window I (NIR-I, 700-900 nm) imaging has many clinical applications, whereas near-infrared window II (NIR-II, 1,000-1700 nm) imaging has emerged as a highly promising novel optical imaging modality and used in a few clinical fields recently, especially its penetration distance and noninvasive characteristics coincide with the needs of microsurgery. Therefore, a portable NIR-II imaging instrument and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved indocyanine green (ICG) were used to improve the operation efficiency in microsurgery of 39 patients in this study. The anastomotic vessels and the salvaged distal limbs were clearly visualized after intravenous injection of ICG. The technique enabled identification of perforator vessels and estimation of perforator areas prior to the flap obtention and made it easier to monitor the prognosis. Overall, this study highlights the use of the portable NIR- II imaging with ICG as an operative evaluation tool can enhance the safety and accuracy of microsurgery.

Insects are highly reliant on their active olfactory system in which odorant binding proteins play a role to selectivity and sensitivity during odour perception and processing. This study sets out to determine whether and to which extent the antennal loaded SaveOBP10 in English grain aphid Sitobion avenae, contributes in olfactory processing during host selection. To understand this possible relationship, we purified the SaveOBP10 recombinant protein and performed fluorescence ligand binding tests, molecular docking, RNA interference (RNAi) and behavioural trials. The results showed that SaveOBP10 had strong binding affinities (Ki ≤5 µM) with most of wheat plant volatiles at pH 5.0 as compared to pH 7.4. In Y-tube olfactometer bioassays, the S. avenae was attracted behaviourally towards pentadecane, butylated hydroxytoluene, tetradecane and ß-caryophyllene however repelled by naphthalene. After RNAi of SaveOBP10, the aphid showed nonattraction towards ß-caryophyllene and nonsignificant behavioural response to pentadecane, butylated hydroxytoluene and tetradecane. Furthermore, the three-dimensional structure modelling and molecular docking of SaveOBP10 were performed to the volatiles with high binding abilities. Together these findings indicate that SaveOBP10 can bind more strongly to the volatiles that involved in S. avenae behaviour regulation and possibly will contribute effectively in S. avenae integrated pest management.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the 3rd most common malignancy globally, and its disease burden is increasing rapidly in China. But CRC patients' knowledge and awareness of CRC have not yet been examined, which could facilitate the identification of targeted population from public for intervention. Methods: A nationwide multicenter cross-sectional survey was conducted in 19 tertiary hospitals (10 cancer hospitals and 9 general hospitals) from March 2020 to March 2021 in China. During study period, all Stage III and IV CRC patients were invited to complete a semi-structured survey that had been designed to collect information about their socio-demographic characteristics, and knowledge and awareness of CRC risk factors and screening. A multivariate logistic regression model was used to identify factors associated with their knowledge and awareness. Results: In total, 4,589 advanced CRC patients were enrolled in this study, of whom, 46.2% were from tertiary cancer hospitals, and 59.5% were male. Patients had a mean age of 60.1±11.6 years. Before diagnosis, 65.1% of the patients had no related knowledge of the CRC risk factors, and 84.9% were unaware of the CRC screening-related information. Only 30.4% of patients had actively sought to acquire CRC-related knowledge before diagnosis. The 3 most common knowledge sources were relatives or friends who had been diagnosed with CRC (13.2%), popular science television/broadcast shows (12.9%), and community publicity and education (9.6%). Generally, knowledge and awareness were positively associated with better education level [odds ratios (ORs) ranged from 1.49 to 2.54, P<0.001], annual household income ranged from 50,000 Chinese Yuan (CNY) to 100,000 CNY (OR =1.32, P<0.001), being manual laborer (OR =1.25, P<0.001) and being white-collar worker (OR =1.47, P<0.001). Conclusions: Advanced CRC patients' knowledge and awareness of CRC were severely limited before diagnosis. Thus, those who had limited knowledge and awareness should has a priority for intervention.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) poses a significant public health burden worldwide. The investigation of the choice of medical facility among CRC patients is helpful for understanding access to health services and improving quality of oncology services to optimize health outcomes. However, there are limited studies on the topic. The objective of this study was to investigate the choice of medical facility and its associated factors among advanced CRC patients. Methods: This cross-sectional multi-center study included a total of 4,589 individuals with advanced CRC from 19 hospitals in 7 geographic regions in China. Participants were recruited by multi-stage stratified sampling. In the first stage, two cities in each geographic region were selected through simple random sampling. In the second stage, one tertiary cancer hospital and/or one general hospital were selected in each city. Data on medical experience and demographics were collected via a questionnaire during face-to-face interviews. Explanatory variables were selected based on the Andersen behavioral model. Multinomial logistic regression analyses were performed to explore the factors associated with the level of medical facility for the first treatment. Results: Hospitals at the prefecture level were the most common medical facility sought by advanced CRC patients for initial medical care (44.9%), the first definite diagnosis (46.3%), the first treatment (39.5%), and regular follow-up (38.9%). However, the first priority was changed to hospitals at the national level for the second treatment (38.0%) and after recurrence and metastasis (45.9%). Female {odds ratios (ORs) ranged from 1.31 [95% confidence interval (CI): 1.01-1.71] to 1.41 (95% CI: 1.07-1.87)} and relatively well-educated individuals [ORs ranged from 1.74 (95% CI: 1.20-2.53) to 7.26 (95% CI: 4.18-12.60)] preferred to seek higher-level health facilities. Individuals with metastatic CRC at diagnosis were more likely to visit hospitals in provincial capitals versus hospitals at the county level (OR =1.68, 95% CI: 1.27-2.22). Individuals with "good" health-related quality of life (HRQOL) (OR =0.63, 95% CI: 0.49-0.81) were less likely to seek hospitals at the prefecture level compared with hospitals at the county level. Conclusions: There is a need to improve the oncology services for CRC patients, including the optimization of referral reform policy and the promotion of quality of primary healthcare service. The results may provide evidence to fill the policy-implementation gap and potentially contribute to the improvement of the efficiency of the healthcare system.

Background: Biomarkers are a key tool in early detection, prognostication, survival, and predicting treatment response of colorectal cancer (CRC). However, little is known about biomarker testing for CRC patients in real-life clinical practice in China. This study aimed to address the usage of biomarker testing and analyze factors related to its acceptance among Chinese patients with advanced CRC. Methods: A multicenter, cross-sectional, hospital-based clinical epidemiology study was conducted from March 2020 to March 2021. Nineteen hospitals were selected in seven geographical regions of China using stratified, multistage, nonrandomized cluster sampling. Data on demographics and clinical characteristics of each eligible CRC patient in stage III or IV diseases were recorded based on the patients' self-reporting and/or medical records. In addition, information on whether biomarker testing [RAS, BRAF, and microsatellite instability (MSI)] was performed, the results and timing for performing biomarker testing, and the reasons for refusing biomarker testing were also recorded. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were conducted to explore the potential factors of biomarker testing. Results: A total of 4,526 patients were enrolled in the study, of whom 41.4%, 36.1%, and 28.2% underwent RAS, BRAF, and MSI testing, respectively. RAS, BRAF, and high-level MSI (MSI-high) mutation rates in Chinese patients with advanced CRC were 37.0%, 9.9%, and 8.1%, respectively. The logistic regression analysis revealed that the treating hospital, age at diagnosis, education, family income, tumor site, history of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and metastases were dependent factors affecting the utilization of biomarker testing in advanced CRC in China (P<0.005). Conclusions: The biomarker testing rate, especially MSI testing, is less prevalent in clinical practice for patients with advanced CRC in China. Our findings may guide the formulation of biomarker testing of CRC strategies in China and other low-income countries.

Insect odorant-binding proteins (OBPs) are a class of small soluble proteins that can be found in various tissues wherein binding and transport of small molecules are required. Thus, OBPs are not only involved in typical olfactory function by specific activities with odorants but also participate in other physiological processes in non-chemosensory tissues. To better understand the complex biological functions of OBPs, it is necessary to study the transcriptional regulation of their expression patterns. In this paper, an apparent gradient expression pattern of Obp19, that was highly and specifically expressed in antennae and played an essential role in the detection of camphene, was defined in the antennae of the Japanese pine sawyer. Further, the transcription factor BarH1, that also presented gradient expression pattern in antennae, was found to regulate expression of Obp19 directly through binding to its upstream DNA sequence. The condition of BarH1 gene silence, the gene expression levels of Obp19 significantly decreased. At the same time, additional olfactory genes also were regulated and thus influence camphene reception. These findings provide us an opportunity to incorporate Obps in the gene regulatory networks of insects, which contribute to a better understanding of the multiplicity and diversity of OBPs and the olfactory mediated behaviors.

Odorant binding proteins play a key role in the olfactory system and are involved in the odor perception and discrimination of insects. To investigate the potential physiological functions of SaveOBP9 in Sitobion avenae, fluorescence ligand binding experiments, molecular docking, RNA interference, and behavioral tests were performed. Fluorescence binding assay results showed that SaveOBP9 had broad and high (Ki < 10 µM) binding abilities with most of the wheat volatiles, but was more obvious at pH 7.4 than pH 5.0. The binding sites of SaveOBP9 to the volatiles were predicted well by three-dimensional docking structure modeling and molecular docking. Moreover, S. avenae showed a strong behavioral response with the four compounds of wheat. The reduction in mRNA transcript levels after the RNA interference significantly reduced the expression level of SaveOBP9 and induced the non-significant response of S. avenae to the tetradecane, octanal, decanal, and hexadecane. This study provides evidence that SaveOBP9 might be involved in the chemoreception of wheat volatile organic compounds and can successfully contribute in the integrated management programs of S. avenae.

Chemosensory proteins (CSPs) play important roles in insects' chemoreception, although their specific functional roles have not been fully elucidated. In this study, we conducted the developmental expression patterns and competitive binding assay as well as knock-down assay by RNA interference both in vitro and in vivo to reveal the function of NlugCSP10 from the brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparvata lugens (Stål), a major pest in rice plants. The results showed that NlugCSP10 messenger RNA was significantly higher in males than in females and correlated to gender, development and wing forms. The fluorescence binding assays revealed that NlugCSP10 exhibited the highest binding affinity with cis-3-hexenyl acetate, eicosane, and (+)-ß-pinene. Behavioral assay revealed that eicosane displayed attractant activity, while cis-3-hexenyl acetate, similar to (+)-ß-pinene significantly repelled N. lugens adults. Silencing of NlugCSP10, which is responsible for cis-3-hexenyl acetate binding, significantly disrupted cis-3-hexenyl acetate communication. Overall, findings of the present study showed that NlugCSP10 could selectively interrelate with numerous volatiles emitted from host plants and these ligands could be designated to develop slow-release mediators that attract/repel N. lugens and subsequently improve the exploration of plans to control this insect pest.

The microbiome in fermentation has direct impacts on the quality of fermented foods and is of great scientific and commercial interest. Despite considerable effort to explain the microbial metabolism associated with food fermentation, the role of the microbiome in pu-erh tea fermentation remains unknown. Here, we applied integrated meta-omics approaches to characterize the microbiome in two repeated fermentations of pu-erh tea. Metabarcoding analysis of bacterial 16S rRNA genes showed a decrease in the proportion of Proteobacteria and an increase in the abundance of Firmicutes during fermentation. Metabarcoding analysis of fungal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequence demonstrated that Rasamsonia, Thermomyces, and Aspergillus were dominant at the intermediate stage, whereas Aspergillus was dominant at other stages in fermentation. Metaproteomics analysis assigned primary microbial metabolic activity to metabolism and identified microbial carbohydrate-active enzymes involved in the degradation of polysaccharides including cellulose, xylan, xyloglucan, pectin, starch, lignin, galactomannan, and chitin. Metabolomics and high-performance liquid chromatography analysis revealed that levels of phenolic compounds, including gallates, decreased whereas contents of gallic acid and ellagic acid significantly increased after fermentation (P < 0.05). The changes in levels of gallates and gallic acid were associated with the hydrolysis of tannase. Glycoside hydrolases, phenol 2-monooxygenase, salicylaldehyde dehydrogenase, salicylate 1-monooxygenase, catechol O-methyltransferase, catechol dioxygenase, and quercetin 2,3-dioxygenases were hypothesized to be related to oxidation, conversion, or degradation of phenolic compounds. We demonstrated microbiota in fermentation and their function in the production of enzymes related to the degradation of polysaccharides, and metabolism of phenolic compounds, resulting in changes in metabolite contents and the quality of pu-erh tea.IMPORTANCE Fermented foods play important roles in diets worldwide and account for approximately one-third of all foods and beverages consumed. To date, traditional fermentation has used spontaneous fermentation. The microbiome in fermentation has direct impacts on the quality and safety of fermented foods and contributes to the preservation of traditional methods. Here, we used an integrated meta-omics approach to study the microbiome in the fermentation of pu-erh tea, which is a well-known Chinese fermented food with a special flavor and healthful benefits. This study advanced the knowledge of microbiota, metabolites, and enzymes in the fermentation of pu-erh tea. These novel insights shed light onto the complex microbiome in pu-erh fermentation and highlight the power of integrated meta-omics approaches in understanding the microbiome in food fermentation ecosystems.

Acoustic properties of biological tissues usually vary inhomogeneously in space. Tissues with different chemical composition often have different acoustic properties. The assumption of acoustic homogeneity may lead to blurred details, misalignment of targets and artifacts in the reconstructed photoacoustic tomography (PAT) images. This paper summarizes the main solutions to PAT imaging of acoustically heterogeneous tissues, including the variable sound speed and acoustic attenuation. The advantages and limits of the methods are discussed and the possible future development is prospected.

In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Laudakia wui, has been firstly determined by shotgun sequencing. The overall length of mitogenome is 16,455 bp and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, and 2 control regions. Majority of the genes (13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA and 14 tRNA) were distributed on the H-strand, in addition to the two ND6 genes and eight tRNA genes, which were encoded on the L-strand. The phylogenetic tree was built by L. wui and 13 other related species. The DNA data presented here will be useful to study the evolutionary relationships and genetic diversity of L. wui.

The complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) sequence of Laudakia sacra was determined by using a PCR-based method. The total length of mitogenome is 16,555 bp, and contains 13 typical vertebrate protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes and 2 control regions. Only ND6 gene and 8 tRNA genes on the L-strand other than are encoded on the H-strand. The phylogenetic tree of L. sacra and 13 other species were built. The DNA data present here will facilitate future taxonomic work of the genus Laudakia.
