RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To develop the method of biological fluids' sample processing and mebeverine detection to exclude false results' receiving when diagnosing drug intoxication. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The study was carried out using «Mebeverine¼ (NJCO «North star¼, Russia) medicine and hydrolysis by enzymes, namely papain, chymotrypsin, trypsin, chymopsin and hyaluronidase, was applied for sample processing. The extractions were analyzed by methods of HPLC-MS/MS on Nexera XR modular liquid chromatograph with LCMS-8050 (Shimadzu) tandem mass spectrometer and GC-MS on gas chromatograph connected with QP-2020 (Shimadzu, Japanese) mono quadrupole mass spectrometer. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: It has been revealed that using selective method of sample processing, which consists of aqueous phase extraction at pH=2-4 and enzymatic hydrolysis by papain and hyaluronidase during isolation from blood, is required to detect mebeverine in biological liquids. It has been proven that the native mebeverine is hydrolyzed to veratric (3.4-dimethoxybenzoic) acid and mebeverine alcohol at alkalotic pH value of medium. It has been shown that mebeverine extraction is necessary to study using HPLC-MS/MS, which will allow to avoid the native mebeverine degradation in chromatograph injector as with GC-MS method analysis.

RESUMEN

Multijet events at large transverse momentum (pT) are measured at s=13TeV using data recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.3fb-1. The multiplicity of jets with pT>50GeV that are produced in association with a high-pT dijet system is measured in various ranges of the pT of the jet with the highest transverse momentum and as a function of the azimuthal angle difference Δϕ1,2 between the two highest pT jets in the dijet system. The differential production cross sections are measured as a function of the transverse momenta of the four highest pT jets. The measurements are compared with leading and next-to-leading order matrix element calculations supplemented with simulations of parton shower, hadronization, and multiparton interactions. In addition, the measurements are compared with next-to-leading order matrix element calculations combined with transverse-momentum dependent parton densities and transverse-momentum dependent parton shower.

RESUMEN

The double differential cross sections of the Drell-Yan lepton pair (ℓ+ℓ-, dielectron or dimuon) production are measured as functions of the invariant mass mℓℓ, transverse momentum pT(ℓℓ), and φη∗. The φη∗ observable, derived from angular measurements of the leptons and highly correlated with pT(ℓℓ), is used to probe the low-pT(ℓℓ) region in a complementary way. Dilepton masses up to 1TeV are investigated. Additionally, a measurement is performed requiring at least one jet in the final state. To benefit from partial cancellation of the systematic uncertainty, the ratios of the differential cross sections for various mℓℓ ranges to those in the Z mass peak interval are presented. The collected data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 36.3fb-1 of proton-proton collisions recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC at a centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV. Measurements are compared with predictions based on perturbative quantum chromodynamics, including soft-gluon resummation.

RESUMEN

The purpose of this review is to study the causes of cross-reactions of a number of drugs (mebeverine, phenibut, tropicamide, ramipril, metoprolol, phenylephrine, sertraline, chloropyramine and diphenhydramine) during the preliminary stage of laboratory diagnostics by immunochromatographic method and to propose a possible algorithm for solving this problem. Conducting a hair study in order to identify the fact of the use of psychoactive substances will increase the reliability of analytical diagnostics and reduce the likelihood of false positive results of the analysis. The use of a validated method of enzymatic hydrolysis of hair will eliminate unreliable results of the analysis due to the detection of the native molecule of the toxicant, increase the efficiency and accuracy of the diagnostic procedure.

RESUMEN

Radiation-protective and anti-aging properties are often combined. Combination of this properties is linked to the common mechanisms of action such as direct and indirect antioxidant activities, inhibition of free radicals formation, increase resistance to stress impacts at the cellular level, acceleration of DNA reparation, prevention of chronic diseases linked to abnormalities in regeneration processes, activation of immune inflammatory processes and carcinogenesis. Regulation of cell cycle and apoptosis can often be considered as an implementing driver of radiation-protective and anti-aging activities. On the one hand, against the background of stopping the cell cycle and blockade of apoptosis increases the time required to repair the defects of a DNA. Antiapoptotic effects enhances survival chances at the early stage after irradiation in a particular range of doses. On the other hand, activation of apoptosis of altered cells can be seen as one of the mechanisms to delay aging processes and prevention of isolated effects of exposure to ionizing radiation. Formation of radiation-induced and age-related alterations are characterized by multiple factors and a variety of manifestations. Nevertheless, similarity of individual links of the pathogenesis of disease related to radiation exposure and aging of the body is striking. It could be stated that radiation-protective property defines an increase in life expectancy by short-term exposure in sub-lethal and lethal doses. However anti-aging activities prevent the development of remote effects of ionizing radiation by prolonged low doses or fractionated exposure to radiation.

RESUMEN

The strong coupling constant α s is determined from inclusive jet and dijet cross sections in neutral-current deep-inelastic ep scattering (DIS) measured at HERA by the H1 collaboration using next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD predictions. The dependence of the NNLO predictions and of the resulting value of α s ( m Z ) at the Z-boson mass m Z are studied as a function of the choice of the renormalisation and factorisation scales. Using inclusive jet and dijet data together, the strong coupling constant is determined to be α s ( m Z ) = 0.1157 ( 20 ) exp ( 29 ) th . Complementary, α s ( m Z ) is determined together with parton distribution functions of the proton (PDFs) from jet and inclusive DIS data measured by the H1 experiment. The value α s ( m Z ) = 0.1142 ( 28 ) tot obtained is consistent with the determination from jet data alone. The impact of the jet data on the PDFs is studied. The running of the strong coupling is tested at different values of the renormalisation scale and the results are found to be in agreement with expectations.

RESUMEN

Use of the tacticts of multistage surgical treatment on the model of combined radiation-and-mechanic injury. The article provides information on the use of the tactics of multistage surgical treatment (MST), which allows increasing survival value in patients with polytrauma. There are no descriptions of possibility of the use of this tactics in case of combined radiation-and-mechanic injuries in available literature. During an experimental research underwent on 25 sheep it was found that in case of MST implementation there is a significant decrease of intraoperative and postoperative lethal outcome in comparison with traditional tactics. In animals, underwent MST, were defined more laudable course of radiation syndrome. Analysis of laboratory peripheral blood indexes allowed making conclusion, that conducting final surgical intervention (3'd stage of MST) during the first 24 hours after abbreviated surgical intervention allows finishing surgical treatment and intensive care before the beginning of acute radiation syndrome and doesn't counter classic recommendations concerning the treatment of combined radiation-and-mechanic injuries.

RESUMEN

Present condition and perspective of development of self-care decontamination products. This work provides data describing the current state and perspectives of development of self-care decontamination products for neutralization and removal of poisonous and highly toxic biologic and radioactive agents from open human body surfaces and close- fitting cloth. The history of self-care decontamination products creation in Russia and foreign countries is represented. The detailed performance characteristics of the developed individual anti-gas kits IPP-3, IPP-51, IPP-8, IPP-10, IPP-11, which were accepted to the Army and the Navy supply in the 1920-1930s, during the Great Patriotic war, in post-war period and now, are given. The individual anti-gas kits RSDL, M291, M295 and MKI for government-issue equipment of North Atlantic nations' armies are described in detail. It was showed that the general limitation both of the native and foreign anti-gas kit models is the poor efficacy against exposure of vesicants from the group of blister warfare agents. The most perspective research guidelines in creation of new self-care decontamination products. are validated.

RESUMEN

Wound healing activity of 20 different means of conservative treatment of radiation burns was studies in the experiments on the rats subjected to local ß-radiation (at a dose of 60 Gy) and combined radiation damage (ß-radiation at a dose of 60 Gy and the whole-body γ-irradiation at a dose of 4 Gy). It was found that reparative processes in the irradiated, skin in the case of the local radiation injuries are most effectively accelerated by ointments Biopin, Panthenol-Ratiopharm, IL-1ß and Iruksol; Dimexidum solution; aerosols Olazol, Gipozol and Polkortolon; wound coverings Procell-super and Selenopol. Ointments containing IL-1ß, Dimexidum solution, aerosols and wound coverings have a healing effect in the case of combined radiation injury.

RESUMEN

The study was aimed to evaluate experimentally the radioprotective effectiveness of synthetic genistein in terms of the glutathione system and lipid peroxidation in erythrocytes of irradiated rats. The animals were exposed to single acute X-ray irradiation at a dose of 6 Gy. Genistein was administered intraperitoneally at 200 mg/kg 1 hour before radiation exposure. The irradiation caused the initiation of lipid peroxidation in the background depletion of reduced glutathione. Decrease by 25% in the number of malondialdehyde in the rats treated with genistein was registered 5 min after irradiation compared with the control. It is established thatl day after irradiation the level of reduced glutathione in the rats treated with genistein was 26% higher. However, intraperitoneal administration of genistein did not cause statistically significant changes in the activity of glutathione reductase, glutathione-S-transferase, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase during the whole period of observation. The results suggest that the radioprotective effect of synthetic genistein is implemented, along with other mechanisms, by stimulating the glutathione system and reducing the severity of lipid peroxidation.

RESUMEN

The results of treatment of cancer patients have not undergone any significant changes in recent years. This is due to the fact that opportunities to improve the outcomes by developing radiation therapy equipment and op- timizing the dose delivery are largely exhausted. However, there is a proven, but practically not utilized way--the use of radiomodifiers. This paper presents the experience of more than 25 years of clinical use of radiomodification in the Russian Scientific Center of Radiology and Modern Surgery Technologies. Simplicity, avai- lability, and stability of the results allow considering the use of radiomodification as one of the possible ways to improve the effectiveness of radiotherapy.

RESUMEN

Experimental models of stomatitis developing in response to an isolated (radiation) and combined (radiation and chemical) exposure of experimental animals, were created. The severity of radiation-induced stomatitis was determined by the dose of radiation exposure. Additional exposure to a chemical factor (cyclophosphamide) augmented the destructive effect of ionizing radiation on the buccal mucosa of rats.
