RESUMEN
The title compound, C(14)H(6)O(7)·C(10)H(8)N(2), has been hydro-thermally synthesized. Structural ananlysis indicates that the crystals are produced by cocrystallization of naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetra-carboxylic acid 1,8-anhydride and 4,4'-bipyridine (bpy) mol-ecules. The crystal packing is stabilized by inter-molecular O-Hâ¯N and C-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distances = 3.5846â (9)â Å].
RESUMEN
The title complex, [Zn(NCS)(C(13)H(20)N(2)O(2))(2)]NO(3), consists of a complex mononuclear Zn(II) cation and a nitrate counter-anion. The Zn(II) ion is five-coordinate in a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry. The thio-cyanate N atom and two O atoms from two Schiff bases define the equatorial plane, and the two imine N atoms from the same two Schiff bases occupy the axial positions, with an N-Zn-N angle of 175.98â (7)°. The amine N atoms of the Schiff base ligands are protonated and are not involved in the coordination to the metal. The dihedral angle between the two substituted benzene rings is 87.7â (2)°. The nitrate counter-ions are linked to the cations through N-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds.
RESUMEN
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(14)H(10)F(2)O, the dihedral angles between the benzene rings in the two crystallographically independent mol-ecules are 46.9â (2) and 47.6â (2)°. The mol-ecules are linked into dimers by C-Hâ¯F inter-actions and these dimers are further stacked into columns along the b axis by π-π inter-actions between the benzene rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.8221â Å; the dihedral angle between the planes of these rings is 4.87â (2)°]. In addition, C-Fâ¯π interactions also contribute to the crystal packing (Câ¯centroid distance = 3.5919â Å).
RESUMEN
The title mononuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu(C(7)H(6)ClN(4)O(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·2H(2)O, based on 8-chloro-theophylline (HCt), has the Cu atom at a center of symmetry in a slightly distorted trans square-planar geometry coordinated by two N atoms of two deprotonated HCt ligands and two O atoms of water mol-ecules. The crystal packing is stabilized by hydrogen bonds involving deprotonated HCt ligands, coordinated water mol-ecules and uncoordinated solvent water mol-ecules.
RESUMEN
In the title complex, [CoCl(2)(C(21)H(19)N(3))], the Co(II) atom is coordinated by one pyridine and two imine N atoms and by two chloride anions in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. The structure exhibits a pseudo-mirror plane through the metal atom, two chloride anions and the pyridine ring. In the crystal structure, the complexes are connected via inter-molecular C-Hâ¯Cl hydrogen bonding.
