RESUMEN

Celiac axis (CA) is an important branch of the abdominal aorta which is also called celiac artery. CA is consisted with left gastric artery, common hepatic artery and splenic artery. However, there are many variants of CA branches, leading to different types. At present, CA types of branches have been identified, however, due to the different background and purposes, it is difficult to make it consistent. This review summarized the research status of domestic and foreign classification methods of CA branches which may benefit the clinic application.

RESUMEN

A field experiment was conducted in a modern municipal solid waste (MSW) incineration power plant to explore the feasibility of using chemical agglomeration agent anionic polyacrylamide (PAM) to reduce the atmospheric emission of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs). Spraying PAM solution into the cooling tower caused an obvious decrease in the volume fraction of ultrafine and fine particles with diameter of 0.3-30 µm in BF fly ash, and a significant reduction in dust content in stack gas. The increased agglomeration of particles promoted the removal of particle-phase PCDD/Fs by BF, and thus resulted in a lower atmospheric emission of PCDD/Fs. The calculated removal efficiency of PCDD/Fs by BF was almost positively proportional to the concentration of PAM solution, while inversely proportional to the average content of dusk in stack gas. Compared with the control treatment, the spraying of 0.1 g/L PAM solution enhanced the removal efficiency of total tetra-to octa-CDD/Fs (∑PCDD/Fs) from 93.8% to 97.8% by BF, and resulted in a decrease of 47.0% in the concentration of international toxicity equivalent (I-TEQ) in stack gas. During the experiment of 2 d, the spraying of PAM solution did not induce a significant change in the differential pressure of BF, and did not essentially affect the partitioning behaviors of PCDD/F homologues between flue gas and BF fly ash. In view of technical safety and low cost, PAM application is recommended for reducing the atmospheric emission of PCDD/Fs from MSW incineration system.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the distribution and antimicrobial resistance of pathogens causing pneumonia in acute stroke patients, and guide clinical antimicrobial use. Methods Patients with stroke-associated pneumonia (SAP)admitted to a tertiary first-class hospital from 2008 to 2013 were investigated retrospectively, distribution and antimicrobial susceptibility testing results of pathogens from sputum were analyzed. Results A total of 98 pa-tients with SAP were investigated,124 stains were isolated from sputum specimens,75 strains (60.48% )were gram-negative bacteria,44 (35.49% )were gram-positive bacteria, and 5 (4.03% )were fungi. There were 21 cases of mixed infection (21.43% ),bacterial alterations during treatment process existed among 23 cases(23.47% ).The top 4 isolated pathogens were Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus,n= 43,34.68% ),Klebsiella pneumoniae (K. pneumoniae,n= 19,15.32% ),Pseudomonasaeruginosa(P. aeruginosa,n= 18,14.52% ),and Acinetobacterbau-mannii(A. baumannii,n= 18,14.52% ). Antimicrobial resistance rates of K. pneumoniae were all 80% ,resistance rates of P.aeruginosa to imipenem was 33 .33% . No resistant strains were detected among fungi. Conclusion The main pathogens causing SAP in this hospital are S.au-reus,K.pneumoniae,A.baumannii,and P.aeruginosa, except K.pneumoniae, the other strains are severely re-sistant to antimicrobial agents, clinicians should choose antimicrobial agents according to the distribution character-istics and antimicrobial susceptibility testing results.

RESUMEN

A method for simultaneous determination of PCDDs, dl-PCBs, BFRs and PBDD/Fs in flue gas from stationary source was developed. The sample was extracted by Soxhlet apparatus with toluene, and followed by purification through sulfuric acid partition and multi-layer silica gel column separation. The target compounds were then all separated by passing through the active carbon-dispersed silica gel column and reversal eluting. Gas chromatography coupled with a thermostable capillary column ( short length, thin stationary phase film) was operated at pulse injection mode. High resolution mass spectrometry set at low-electron-energy ionization was used for quantification. The high- and low-brominated compounds were determined simultaneously. The detection limits of this method were 0. 081-1. 2 pg for PCDD/Fs, 0. 10-0. 32 pg for dl-PCBs, 0. 14-12 pg for PBDEs, 0. 26-16 pg for new BFRs, 0. 44-3. 6 pg for tetra- to hepta-BDD/Fs and 8. 2-12 pg for OBDD/F. Recoveries ( RSDs) in spiked flue gas samples were 88%-115%(2. 9%-6. 1%) for PCDD/Fs, 84%-118% (3. 2%-10%) for dl-PCBs, 71%-135% (2. 1%-18%) for PBDEs, 71%-114% (2. 9%-7. 4%) for new BFRs, 83%-127% (5. 2%-10%) for tetra-to hepta-BDD/Fs and 52%-149% ( 23%-24%) for OBDD/F. All quality control data fell within the acceptable range specified in analysis standards for flue gas.
