BACKGROUND: The incidence of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) continues to rapidly increase, with limited available treatment options. One of the hallmarks of DKD is persistent inflammation, but the underlying molecular mechanisms of early diabetic kidney injury remain poorly understood. C-X-C chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2), plays an important role in the progression of inflammation-related vascular diseases and may bridge between glomerular endothelium and persistent inflammation in DKD. METHODS: Multiple methods were employed to assess the expression levels of CXCR2 and its ligands, as well as renal inflammatory response and endothelial glycocalyx shedding in patients with DKD. The effects of CXCR2 on glycocalyx shedding, and persistent renal inflammation was examined in a type 2 diabetic mouse model with Cxcr2 knockout specifically in endothelial cells (DKD-Cxcr2 eCKO mice), as well as in glomerular endothelial cells (GECs), cultured in high glucose conditions. RESULTS: CXCR2 was associated with early renal decline in DKD patients, and endothelial-specific knockout of CXCR2 significantly improved renal function in DKD mice, reduced inflammatory cell infiltration, and simultaneously decreased the expression of proinflammatory factors and chemokines in renal tissue. In DKD conditions, glycocalyx shedding was suppressed in endothelial Cxcr2 knockout mice compared to Cxcr2 L/L mice. Modulating CXCR2 expression also affected high glucose-induced inflammation and glycocalyx shedding in GECs. Mechanistically, CXCR2 deficiency inhibited the activation of NF-κB signaling, thereby regulating inflammation, restoring the endothelial glycocalyx, and alleviating DKD. CONCLUSIONS: Taken together, under DKD conditions, activation of CXCR2 exacerbates inflammation through regulation of the NF-κB pathway, leading to endothelial glycocalyx shedding and deteriorating renal function. Endothelial CXCR2 deficiency has a protective role in inflammation and glycocalyx dysfunction, suggesting its potential as a promising therapeutic target for DKD treatment.

AIMS: In-depth studies on plant ion uptake and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) at the molecular level will help to further reveal the effects of PGPR on plants and their interaction mechanisms under salt stress. METHODS: Cotton was inoculated with a PGPR-Enterobacter cloacae Rs-35, and the ion uptake capacity, membrane transporter protein activity, and expression of key genes were determined under salt stress. Changes in the endogenous hormone content of cotton were also determined. Further, the genome-wide metabolic pathway annotation of E. cloacae Rs-35 and its differential enrichment pathway analysis of multi-omics under salinity environments were performed. RESULTS: In a pot experiment of saline-alkali soil, E. cloacae Rs-35-treated cotton significantly increased its uptake of K+ and Ca2+ and decreased uptake of Na+, elevated the activity of the H+-ATPase, and increased the sensitivity of the Na+/H+ reverse transporter protein on the vesicle membrane. Meanwhile, inoculation with E. cloacae Rs-35 could promote cotton to maintain the indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) content under salt stress. Genome-wide annotation showed that E. cloacae Rs-35 was respectively annotated to 31, 38, and 130 related genes in osmotic stress, phytohormone and organic acid metabolism, and ion uptake metabolic pathway. Multi-omics differences analysis showed that E. cloacae Rs-35 were enriched to tryptophan metabolism, multiple amino acid biosynthesis, carbon and glucose synthesis, and oxidative phosphorylation metabolic pathways at the transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome. CONCLUSION: E. cloacae Rs-35 can promote cotton balance cell ion concentration, stabilize intracellular IAA changes, stimulate induction of systemic tolerance, and promote the growth of cotton plants under salt stress.

Here we report a combined study of low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and dynamical mean-field theory on PdCrO_{2}, a delafossite metal with an antiferromagnetic order below ∼37.5 K. First, on the CrO_{2}-terminated polar surface we detect a gaplike feature both below and above the Néel temperature. The dynamical mean-field theory calculations indicate that this gap is opened due to the strong correlations of Cr-3d electrons, suggesting the hidden Mott nature of the gap. Then, we observe two kinds of Pd-terminated polar surfaces. One is a well-ordered Pd surface with the Fermi-surface-nesting-induced incommensurate charge modulation, while the other one is a reconstructed Pd surface with the individual nanoscale nonperiodic domain structures. On the well-ordered Pd surface, the interference between the incommensurate charge modulation and the atomic lattice forms the periodic moiré pattern. Our results provide important microscopic information for fully understanding the correlated electronic properties of this class of materials.

Spiritual values can be a source of meaning for people, and can also determine their feelings, behavior, and mental health. In China's Buddhist mountains, we collected a total of 400 valid questionnaires from Mount Putuo and Mount Jiuhua, and identified spiritual values as transcendence, general connectedness, inner balance, positive life direction, and special religious feelings. We also explored the impact of these spiritual values on tourists' psychological wellbeing according to the PERMA model (positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, and achievement). The results revealed that the more easily attained spiritual values (general connectedness, positive life direction, and special religious feelings) had a greater influence on psychological wellbeing than the less easily-attained spiritual values (transcendence and inner balance). Positive emotion and meaning, as components of psychological wellbeing, were strongly influenced by the four spiritual values, whereas engagement, accomplishment, and relationships were influenced by fewer spiritual values. The research contributes to the existing knowledge on spiritual values by analyzing their dimensions and relationships with tourists' wellbeing from different levels, and also provides empirical suggestions for the sustainable development of religious tourism destinations.

Here we use low-temperature and variable-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy to study the pnictide superconductor, Ba1-xSrxNi2As2. In the low-temperature phase (triclinic phase) of BaNi2As2, we observe the unidirectional charge density wave (CDW) with Q = 1/3 on both the Ba and NiAs surfaces. On the NiAs surface of the triclinic BaNi2As2, there are structural-modulation-induced chain-like superstructures with distinct periodicities. In the high-temperature phase (tetragonal phase) of BaNi2As2, the NiAs surface appears as the periodic 1 × 2 superstructure. Interestingly, in the triclinic phase of Ba0.5Sr0.5Ni2As2, the unidirectional CDW is suppressed on both the Ba/Sr and NiAs surfaces, and the Sr substitution stabilizes the periodic 1 × 2 superstructure on the NiAs surface, which enhance the superconductivity in Ba0.5Sr0.5Ni2As2. Our results provide important microscopic insights for the interplay among the unidirectional CDW, structural modulation, and superconductivity in this class of pnictide superconductors.

More information is often correlated with greater appreciation. Drawing on the model of aesthetic appreciation and aesthetic judgment in art psychology, this study aims to investigate changes in tourists' aesthetic judgments of tourist crafts when provided with different background information. Blue calico, an art form created through white pulp dyeing and printing, is an intangible cultural heritage of China. The photographs used in this study illustrate typical examples of blue calicos that are commonly sold in tourist gift shops in Wuzhen, China. Data from a sample of 133 participants (49 women and 84 men) was analyzed using Two-Way Repeated Measures ANOVA. We examined to what extent respondents varied their assessments of the calicos based on author manipulation of background factors, such as commentaries by the artist or details about the production process. We found that tourists' impressions of the aesthetics of blue calicos were predicted by background factors, especially those of tourists who were less interested in high arts. Specifically, blue calicos reported to tourists with names that conveyed an auspicious meaning predicted tourists' assessments of the calicos as more aesthetically pleasing. Explanations of the production process also predicted an increased appreciation of calico aesthetics. Conversely, artists' commentaries were not significantly correlated with an increased aesthetic merit of calicos. Understanding what may affect tourists' assessment of art could help those in the tourism industry market souvenirs to drive sales and enhance tourists' understanding and appreciation of intangible cultural heritage.

Bone homeostasis involves bone formation and bone resorption, which are processes that maintain skeletal health. Oxidative stress is an independent risk factor, causing the dysfunction of bone homeostasis including osteoblast-induced osteogenesis and osteoclast-induced osteoclastogenesis, thereby leading to bone-related diseases, especially osteoporosis. Autophagy is the main cellular stress response system for the limination of damaged organelles and proteins, and it plays a critical role in the differentiation, apoptosis, and survival of bone cells, including bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs), osteoblasts, osteoclasts, and osteocytes. High evels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by oxidative stress induce autophagy to protect against cell damage or even apoptosis. Additionally, pathways such as ROS/FOXO3, ROS/AMPK, ROS/Akt/mTOR, and ROS/JNK/c-Jun are involved in the regulation of oxidative stress-induced autophagy in bone cells, including osteoblasts, osteocytes and osteoclasts. This review discusses how autophagy regulates bone formation and bone resorption following oxidative stress and summarizes the potential protective mechanisms exerted by autophagy, thereby providing new insights regarding bone remodeling and potential therapeutic targets for osteoporosis.

Although the single-impurity Kondo physics has already been well understood, the understanding of the Kondo lattice where a dense array of local moments couples to the conduction electrons is still far from complete. The ability of creating and tuning the Kondo lattice in non-f-electron systems will be great helpful for further understanding the Kondo lattice behavior. Here we show that the Pb intercalation in the charge-density-wave-driven narrow-electronic-band system 1T-TaS2 induces a transition from the insulating gap to a sharp Kondo resonance in the scanning tunneling microscopy measurements. It results from the Kondo screening of the localized moments in the 13-site Star-of-David clusters of 1T-TaS2. As increasing the Pb concentration, the narrow electronic band derived from the localized electrons shifts away from the Fermi level and the Kondo resonance peak is gradually suppressed. Our results pave the way for creating and tuning many-body electronic states in layered narrow-electronic-band materials.

Proteins provide the main building blocks for tissue growth, cell renewal, and repair during wound healing. We aimed to examine the effect of a compound protein on wound healing, nutritional status, and underlying mechanisms. We first performed a preliminary experiment to identify the appropriate wound healing assessment points. In the formal experiment, there were five groups (control group: 8.3750 g/kg/day saline solution; model group: 8.3750 g/kg/day saline solution; whey protein group: 8.3750 g/kg/day whey protein; low-dose compound protein group: 4.1875 g/kg/day compound protein; and high-dose compound protein group: 8.3750 g/kg/day compound protein) with eight rats in each group. At each turning point, we observed the wound healing rate and nutritional status of the different groups of rats. In addition, biochemical assays were used to determine the mechanisms underlying the effects of the compound protein. In the preliminary experiment, the third day after modeling was the turning point between the inflammatory and proliferation phases, and the eighth day was the turning point between the proliferation and remodeling phases. The formal experiment evaluated wound healing condition, inflammatory response, angiogenesis, collagen deposition, and nutritional status. A pathological report showed increased vascularization, collagen deposition, and epithelialization in compound protein-treated groups. Protein-treated mice showed decreased interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, neutrophils, and lymphocytes and increased IL-10, albumin, prealbumin, total protein levels, insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF-2), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expressions. All parameters were significant (p < 0.05) compared to the model group. There was a dose-dependent effect of the compound protein. The accelerated wound healing mechanism may be that the compound protein accelerates the whole wound healing process, making wounds transition from the inflammatory phase to the proliferation phase faster, entering the remodeling phase earlier. Administration of a compound protein can accelerate wound healing and improve the nutritional status.

Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is the main cause of cervical and lumbar spondylosis. Over the past few years, the relevance between cellular senescence and IVDD has been widely studied, and the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) produced by senescent cells is found to remodel extracellular matrix (ECM) metabolism and destruct homeostasis. Elimination of senescent cells by senolytics and suppression of SASP production by senomorphics/senostatics are effective strategies to alleviate degenerative diseases including IVDD. Here, we review the involvement of senescence in the process of IVDD; we also discuss the potential of senolytics on eliminating senescent disc cells and alleviating IVDD; finally, we provide a table listing senolytic drugs and small molecules, aiming to propose potential drugs for IVDD therapy in the future.

Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality are regarded as smart and digital technologies that made their impact in many industries and settings. On the other hand, the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 raises a series of issues and challenges for the tourism education, one of the main being the shift from the conventional/face-to-face to digital/hybrid learning forms and tools. The adoption and usage of these digital technologies raise a series of challenges for all stakeholders involved. The research question and study's aim were the influencing factors that determine the acceptance of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality applications in the tertiary tourism education within the context of current pandemic. To address this aim, the study was drawn on the theoretical basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). It takes a students' perspective to suggest a research model that was empirically investigated within the Chinese context (tourism departments in Chinese universities). The sample population consisted of 604 Chinese students and data was collected during February 2021. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. Findings indicated that perceived usefulness, hedonic motivation and price value are important predicting factors for Chinese students' adoption and use of these applications. These findings contribute to the extension of the TAM theory and the effective implementation of digital technologies in university settings. The study is completed by summarizing theoretical and practical implications of findings.

The concept of Yang Qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has many similarities with mitochondria in modern medicine. Both are indispensable to human beings and closely related to life and death. This article discusses the similarities in various aspects between mitochondria and Yang Qi, including body temperature, aging, newborns, circadian rhythm, immunity, and meridian. It is well-known that Yang Qi is vital for human health. Interestingly, decreased mitochondrial function is thought to be key to the development of various diseases. Here, we further explain diseases induced by Yang Qi deficiency, such as cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, sleep disorder, senile dementia, and metabolic diseases, from the perspective of mitochondrial function. We aim to establish similarities and connections between two important concepts, and hope our essay can stimulate further discussion and investigation on unifying important concepts in western medicine and alternative medicine, especially TCM, and provide unique holistic insights into understanding human health.

Morin is a natural compound isolated from moraceae family members and has been reported to possess a range of pharmacological activities. However, the effects of morin on bone-associated disorders and the potential mechanism remain unknown. In this study, we investigated the anti-osteoclastogenic effect of morin in vitro and the potential therapeutic effects on ovariectomy (OVX)-induced osteoporosis in vivo. In vitro, by using a bone marrow macrophage-derived osteoclast culture system, we determined that morin attenuated receptor activator of nuclear factor (NF)-κB ligand (RANKL)-induced osteoclast formation via the inhibition of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), NF-κB and calcium pathways. In addition, the subsequent expression of nuclear factor of activated T cells c1 (NFATc1) and c-fos was significantly suppressed by morin. In addition, NFATc1 downregulation led to the reduced expression of osteoclastogenesis-related marker genes, such as V-ATPase-d2 and Integrin ß3. In vivo, results provided that morin could effectively attenuate OVX-induced bone loss in C57BL/6 mice. In conclusion, our results demonstrated that morin suppressed RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis via the NF-κB, MAPK and calcium pathways, in addition, its function of preventing OVX-induced bone loss in vivo, which suggested that morin may be a potential therapeutic agent for postmenopausal osteoporosis treatment.

The present study aimed to evaluate the use of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET) for detection of high-fat and high-salt diet-induced inflammatory lesions of the arterial vessel walls in Wistar rats. A total of 20 healthy, 8-week-old, male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to the high-fat diet group and the normal diet group. After 16 and 24 weeks of feeding, Wistar rats in the normal diet group and the high-fat diet group (five rats in each group) were injected with 18F-FDG through the tail vein at a dose of 1 mCi/kg after fasting for 12 h. After 1 h, the rats were anesthetized with 2% isoflurane, followed by micro-PET imaging with a 10-min image capture duration and immunohistochemical staining. The standardized uptake values (SUVs) of 18F-FDG were significantly higher in the iliac artery in the high-fat diet group compared with those in the normal diet group at 16 weeks (1.53±0.08 vs. 1.04±0.03; P<0.05) and at 24 weeks (1.96±0.17 vs. 1.12±0.07; P<0.05). The SUVs of 18F-FDG were also significantly greater in the abdominal aorta in the high-fat diet group compared with those in the normal diet group at 16 weeks (1.35±0.08 vs. 1.02±0.02; P<0.05) and at 24 weeks (1.54±0.09 vs. 1.04±0.02; P<0.05). In addition, the SUVs of 18F-FDG in the iliac artery and abdominal aorta were significantly higher at 24 weeks compared with those at 16 weeks in the high-fat diet group (P<0.05). As determined by immunohistochemistry, the percentage of CD68-positive cells in the total number of cells per unit area in each group was 3.20±1.80% in the 24-week normal diet group, 4.70±2.02% in the 16-week high-fat diet group and 6.94±2.02% in the 24-week high-fat diet group; the percentage of CD68-positive cells in the high-fat diet group at 24 weeks was significantly higher than that in the high-fat diet group at 16 weeks and in the normal diet group at 24 weeks (P<0.05). In conclusion, 18F-FDG PET is a noninvasive imaging tool that can continuously monitor inflammatory lesions of the arterial vessel walls in Wistar rats. Further improvement of the Wistar rat atherosclerosis model may provide data to support the early assessment of and intervention in atherosclerosis.

Water-solid interactions are crucial for many fundamental phenomena and technological processes. Here, we report a scanning tunneling microscopy study about the charge density wave (CDW) transition in 1T-TaS2 driven by a single water dipole layer. At low temperature, pristine 1T-TaS2 is a prototypical CDW compound with 13 × 13 charge order. After growing a highly ordered water adlayer, a new charge order with 3 × 3 periodicity emerges on water-covered 1T-TaS2. After water desorption, the entire 1T-TaS2 surface appears as localized 13 × 13 CDW domains that are separated by residual-water-cluster-pinned CDW domain walls. First-principles calculations show that the electric dipole moments in the water adlayer attract electrons to the top layer of 1T-TaS2, which shifts the phonon softening mode and induces the 13 × 13 to 3 × 3 charge order transition. Our results pave the way for creating new collective quantum states of matter with a molecular dipole layer.

BACKGROUND: The correlation between the atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) and waist circumference (WC) remains unknown. METHODS: A total of 5351 middle-aged men living in Southeastern China were surveyed using the random stratified cluster sampling method. A WC of 90 cm or greater was indicative of abdominal obesity, and AIP was calculated as follows: log [triglyceride (TG)/high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C)]. RESULTS: (1) A significantly higher AIP was observed in subjects with abdominal obesity than in those without abdominal obesity (P < 0·001). (2) Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed an odds ratio of 1·93, 2·59 and 2·76 for abnormal AIP levels for the second, third and fourth WC quartiles, respectively (all P < 0·001) compared to the first WC quartile as a reference. (3) There was a linear correlation between WC and AIP, and a 1·0 cm increase in WC resulted in a 0·0175 rise in AIP. For AIP corresponding to moderate risk (0·12-0·21), WC was 85-90 cm; for AIP corresponding to high risk (> 0·21), WC was >90 cm. CONCLUSIONS: AIP of 0·12-0·21 or >0·21 indicates a likelihood of borderline abdominal obesity or abdominal obesity, respectively, and the combination of WC and AIP may increase the specificity and sensitivity for detection of abdominal obesity in clinical practice. The results suggest that AIP may be used as a reference to estimate abdominal obesity.

The correlation between the weekly duration of aerobic exercise and atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) is still unknown. A cross-sectional study was conducted involving 27,827 middle-aged Chinese men who had health examinations in our hospital. The correlation between the duration of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise and AIP was determined. The mean AIP levels were 0.1166 ± 0.34475, 0.1167 ± 0.32637, and 0.0765 ± 0.32872 in the non-exercise (PA1), occasional exercise (PA2), and frequent exercise groups (PA3), respectively. Significantly higher AIP levels were observed in the PA1 and PA2 groups than the PA3 group, while no significant difference existed between the PA1 and PA2 groups. Physical activity significantly reduced the AIP after adjustment for age, body mass index, diastolic blood pressure, and fasting blood glucose and uric acid levels. In addition, the percentage of the population at high risk for atherosclerosis (AIP ≥ 0.21) was significantly lower in the PA3 group than the PA1 and PA2 groups. Moderate-intensity aerobic exercise at a weekly duration of 90 min or longer is associated with the reduction of AIP among middle-aged men in southeastern China.

The aim of this study was to determine the associations between cardiovascular health and the waist circumference (WC) and waist-to-height ratio (WHtR). A cross-sectional study was performed recruiting 26701 middle-aged Chinese men. Of the seven ideal cardiovascular health metrics, body mass index (BMI), total cholesterol (TC), blood pressure (BP), and fasting blood glucose (FBG) were found to increase with an elevation of the mean WC and WHtR. The mean WC and WHtR were significantly lower in the subjects with intermediate or ideal cardiovascular health than those with poor or intermediate health. After adjustment for age, the mean WC and WHtR decreased by 1.486 cm and 0.009 per 1-point increase in the cardiovascular health score, and 2.242 cm and 0.013 per 1-point increase in the number of ideal cardiovascular health metrics, respectively. The cardiovascular health score was negatively correlated with the WC (r = -0.387) and WHtR (r = -0.400), while the number of ideal cardiovascular health metrics was negatively associated with the WC (r = -0.384) and WHtR (r = -0.395). The cardiovascular health is correlated negatively with the WC and WHtR, and a stronger correlation existed between the cardiovascular health and WHtR than WC.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to examine the correlation between aerobic exercise and the atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) in middle-aged Chinese men stratified by body weight. METHODS: A cross-sectional study, which recruited 26,701 middle-aged Chinese men undergoing health examinations in our hospital from 1st January 2014 to 30th June 2015 was performed, and the associations between body weight and AIP, and aerobic exercise and AIP were evaluated. RESULTS: The mean AIP levels were -0.016±0.305, 0.138±0.3171 and 0.211±0.3243 in normal weight, overweight and obese subjects, respectively, and appeared to rise with body weight. Significantly higher AIP levels were observed in subjects with a weekly aerobic exercise period ≥90min than in those with a weekly aerobic exercise period <90min, and the mean AIP levels were -0.038±0.3015, 0.117±0.3182 and 0.192±0.3209, and were 0.003±0.3067, 0.156±0.3149 and 0.225±0.3263 in normal weight, overweight and obese men with a weekly aerobic exercise period ≥90min and <90min, respectively. In addition, aerobic exercise significantly reduced AIP after adjustment for age, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), fasting blood glucose and uric acid. CONCLUSIONS: Lowering body weight and/or increasing aerobic exercise time may reduce AIP, and lowering body weight results in a greater reduction in AIP than aerobic exercise. Weight control combined with increased aerobic exercise time may cause a synergistic effect on the reduction of AIP.

The American Heart Association aims to improve cardiovascular health by encouraging the general population to meet 7 cardiovascular health behaviors and factors. The atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) is an important index. Our aim is to evaluate the relationship between ideal cardiovascular health and the atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) in middle-aged Chinese men.A cross-sectional study was performed. A total of 27,824 middle-aged Chinese men were enrolled. The association between ideal cardiovascular health behaviors and factors and AIP was determined. The 7 cardiovascular health metrics were scored as follows: 0, poor; 1, general; and 2, ideal. The cardiovascular health status was classified according to the total score, as follows: 0 to 4, inadequate; 5 to 9, average; and 10 to 14, optimum. Analyses assessed the prevalence of 7 cardiovascular health metrics, its association with AIP. Logistic regression models were used to calculate odds ratios (ORs), adjusting for age.All 7 cardiovascular health metrics were shown to correlate with AIP (all P values < 0.05), and the strongest correlation existed between body mass and AIP, followed by total cholesterol and AIP. The mean AIP level increased with the decrease in the score of each of the 7 cardiovascular health metrics (all P values < 0.05). The subjects with poor cardiovascular health status had a 4.982-fold increase in the high risk of developing atherosclerosis, whereas a 1-point increase in the cardiovascular health score resulted a 0.046 reduction in AIP and a 22.3% reduction in the high-risk of developing atherosclerosis (OR = 0.777, 95% CI: 0.768-0.787).The ideal cardiovascular health score correlated significantly with AIP, and a 1-point increase in the cardiovascular health score led to a 0.046 reduction in AIP and a 22.3% reduction in the high risk of developing atherosclerosis. These validated the value of ideal cardiovascular health behaviors and factors in the prediction of high risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Ideal cardiovascular health metrics are of great realistic significance for the prevention and control of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases.
