RESUMEN

Characteristics of diode-wing-pumped highly efficient Tm:LuAG lasers running both in continuous wave (CW) and electro-optical Q-switching regimes have been investigated. Using a simple plane-plane cavity, a maximum CW output power of 8.5 W has been achieved with a corresponding slope efficiency of 44.5% by "wing pumping" at 790 nm. With a V-shaped cavity, a diode-wing-pumped MgO:LiNbO3 crystal based electro-optically Q-switched Tm:LuAG laser at 2022.9 nm delivered a maximum pulse energy of 10.8 mJ and a minimum pulse width of 52 ns at a corresponding repetition rate of 100 Hz. To the best of our knowledge, the achieved CW output power and Q-switched pulse energy have both set records for all-solid-state Tm:LuAG lasers, which well reveals an efficient way to generate high-power and high-energy lasers at 2 µm wavelength.

RESUMEN

The Nd3+-doped Bi4Ge3O12 (BGO) single-crystal fiber (SCF) was successfully grown by the micro-pulling-down method with the resistance heating system. The fluorescence spectrum and transmission spectrum of the Nd:BGO SCF were measured. Excited by a continuous-wave 808-nm laser diode, a fluorescence peak around 1064 nm was observed. At an absorbed pump power of 15.25 W, the Nd:BGO SCF laser delivered a power of 3.37 W with a slope efficiency of 31.2%.

RESUMEN

Spectral properties of Nd:Sr(1-x)Y(x)F(2+x) crystals were investigated. Compared with Nd:SrF2, the spectral parameters of Nd:Sr(1-x)Y(x)F(2+x) (x=0.05,0.1) were altered in a large scale. LD-pumped true CW laser has been demonstrated in the crystals. The slope efficiency up to 43.5% in 0.43% Nd:Sr0.95Y0.05F2.05 was achieved. The system is a promising candidate for highly efficient lasers.

RESUMEN

We have demonstrated a diode-pumped passively mode-locked femtosecond Nd,Y:CaF2 disordered crystal laser for the first time to our knowledge. By choosing appropriate Y-doping concentration, a broad fluorescence linewidth of 31 nm has been obtained from the gain linewidth-variable Nd,Y:CaF2 crystal. With the Nd,Y:CaF2 disordered crystal as gain medium, the mode-locked laser generated pulses with pulse duration as short as 103 fs, average output power of 89 mW, and repetition rate of 100 MHz. To our best knowledge, this is the shortest pulse generated from Nd-doped crystal lasers so far. The research results show that the Nd,Y:CaF2 disordered crystal will be a potential alternative as gain medium of repetitive chirped pulse amplification for high-peak-power lasers.

RESUMEN

We have investigated the lasing characteristics of Tm:LSO crystal in three operation regimes: continuous wave (CW), wavelength tunable and passive Q-switching based on graphene. In CW regime, a maximum output power of 0.65 W at 2054.9 nm with a slope efficiency of 21% was achieved. With a quartz plate, a broad wavelength tunable range of 145 nm was obtained, corresponding to a FWHM of 100 nm. By using a graphene saturable absorber mirror, the passively Q-switched Tm:LSO laser produced pulses with duration of 7.8 µs at 2030.8 nm under a repetition rate of 7.6 kHz, corresponding to pulse energy of 14.0 µJ.

RESUMEN

We have demonstrated a laser-diode pumped continuous-wave (CW) and passively Q-switched laser with a Nd:Sc(0.2)Y(0.8)SiO(5) (Nd:SYSO) crystal for the first time. In the CW operation, the laser was found to oscillate in tri-wavelength regime at 1074.8 nm, 1076.6 nm and 1078.2 nm, respectively. The maximum CW output power of 1.96 W was obtained, giving an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 35% and a slope efficiency of 39%. Using either Cr(4+):YAG or V(3+):YAG crystal as saturable absorber, stable passively Q-switched laser was obtained at dual-wavelength of 1074.8 nm and 1078.2 nm with orthogonal-polarization. The maximum average output power, pulse repetition rate, and shortest pulse width were 1.03 W, 50 kHz, and 24 ns, respectively. The passively Q-switched dual-wavelength laser could be potentially used as a source for generation of terahertz radiation.

RESUMEN

The mechanisms of functional disorders in adipocytes were studied on models of hemorrhagic shock. Injection of heparin as an anticoagulant caused regional differences in animals in phosphatidylethanolamine metabolism in the plasma membranes of adipocytes of the subcutaneous fat and those of the abdominal fat (omentum). The disorders of phospholipid metabolism in the plasma membranes of adipocytes of the subcutaneous and abdominal fat in hemorrhagic shock were unidirectional and associated with intensified breakdown of phosphatidylinositol.

RESUMEN

The effect of anisodamine on lipoprotein metabolism in the liver and hepatocyte membrane phospholipids was studied on a model of hemorrhagic shock. Preliminary injection of anisodamine raised the content of very low-density lipoproteins in blood of the central vessels and intensified the breakdown of low-density lipoproteins in the liver. The main changes in the phospholipid composition of the hepatocyte plasma membranes in hemorrhagic shock are associated with phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylinositol. Decrease of the phosphatidylcholine content and increase of the phosphatidylinositol level were encountered. Anisodamine reduces the level of phosphatidylinositol in the hepatocyte plasma membranes and brings it close to normal.
