The 5-year survival rate for patients with lung cancer, the world's second most frequent malignant tumor, is less than 20%, and its prognosis cannot be clearly predicted. Our aim was to analyze the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) rs763317 (G>A) single nucleotide polymorphism and its association with prognosis in Chinese Han lung cancer patients. 839 patients with primary lung cancer were recruited, and genomic DNA was extracted and genotyped by SNPscan. Kaplan-Meier technique and multivariate Cox proportional hazards model were used to analyze the association between prognosis and EGFR polymorphism rs763317. A significant association after stratification by age, significantly increased lung cancer risk was associated with the AA homozygous genotype of rs763317 (adjusted hazard ratio = 2.53, 95% CI: 1.31-4.88, p=0.005), and conferred a poor survival for lung cancer patients (MST: median survival time: 13.6 months) compared with GG genotype (MST: 41.5 months), and in the recessive model AA genotype (AA vs. GG + GA; adjusted hazard ratio = 2.57, 95% CI: 1.34-4.93, p=0.004) who were young (<60 years) had a significantly increased risk of death. The EGFR polymorphism rs763617 might serve as a significant genetic marker for predicting the prognosis of lung cancer.

In China, online sales continue to grow against the generally adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on economic development. Although advertisers favor online targeted advertising for its precision, consumers may find it intrusive and avoid it. This study constructed a conceptual model based on Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory, Approach-Avoidance Theory, and Brand Avoidance Theory to investigate the influence mechanism of consumers' perceived risk on the avoidance behavior of online targeted advertising via an online survey. Collected 436 validated data was analyzed through structural equation method in AMOS statistical software. Results showed that the positively influenced advertising avoidance, and negative emotions mediated the relationship between perceived performance risk, time-loss risk, freedom risk, and advertising avoidance, but perceived privacy risk did not influence advertising avoidance through negative emotions. Perceived COVID-19 risk moderates the effect of negative emotions on advertising avoidance. The findings provide important insights for helping governments, advertisers and online platforms into which risk perceptions influence advertising avoidance, and suggests ways to mitigate consumers risk perceptions for the mutual benefit of brands and users.

A life cycle conceptual site model (LC-CSM) can represent the actual spatial distribution and migration of pollution of a site very accurately and be beneficial in supporting decisions for accurate site remediation or risk management. A volatile chlorinated hydrocarbon contaminated site in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was chosen as the study case. LC-CSMs were established following the site assessment, preliminary investigation, detailed investigation, and supplementary investigation of each stage. The application of field screening tests such as a membrane interface probe and the multi-electrode resistivity method assisted in identifying potential pollution sources and hot points. Concurrently, a large amount of vinyl chloride, the end product of chlorinated hydrocarbon degradation, was detected in some boreholes, indicating that pollutant biodegradation had occurred at this site. Some typical boreholes and cross-sections were chosen to analyze the biodegradation indicators and chemical fingerprints, combining the results of the comprehensive score of chlorinated hydrocarbon anaerobic biodegradability in groundwater reaching 22. It is judged that the site has strong anaerobic biodegradability. This step-by-step optimization forms an LC-CSM for site investigation, which provides scientific support for accurate site characterization.

Occupational pneumoconiosis refers to a group of occupational pulmonary diseases, which is mainly characterized by diffuse fibrosis of lung tissue caused by inhalation of different pathogenic productive dust and retention in the lungs during occupational activities for a long period of time. According to the classification and catalogue of occupational diseases in China,it is mainly classified into 12 categories, such as silicosis, coal worker's pneumoconiosis, asbestos lung. At present,it is the most serious and most common occupational disease in China. The pathogenesis of pneumoconiosis is not clear, and there is still no effective therapy. In the past three years,it is found that traditional Chinese medicine is effective in the treatment of pneumoconiosis. Through collection of medical records, the regularity of the prescriptions used in the treatment of pneumoconiosis were analyzed and summarized. According to the traditional Chinese medicine theory, the clinical characteristics of recurrent cough, phlegm and asthma in patients with pneumoconiosis could be included in the categories of cough, wheezing, lung distension. Professor Ma Guiqin believes that the basic pathogenesis of pneumoconiosis is depression of the atmosphere, deficiency of the kidney, internal obstruction of phlegm, and adverse cardinality. According to its pathogenesis, the commonly used prescriptions, namely Shengxian Decoction,Jinshui Liujun Jian,Xiaochaihu Decoction,Sini Powder,Guomin Jian and syndrome differentiation-based modified medicines were expounded. In addition, " throat is the gateway to the lung and stomach",Professor Ma also believes that the prevention of pneumoconiosis should start with the throat,so as to curb the exacerbation or recurrence of the disease. Through clinical observation,if traditional Chinese medicine is properly used, and pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation-based treatment is provided, traditional Chinese medicine can relieve the clinical symptoms, and improve the exercise tolerance and the quality of life of patients with pneumoconiosis.

In order to explore the degradation mechanism of 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), which is one of the refractory saturated chlorinated hydrocarbons, the groundwater and aquifer soil from a chlorinated hydrocarbon contaminated site in Beijing were collected to carry out microcosm experiments under anaerobic conditions using zero-valent iron (ZVI) coupled with biological action. The removal rate of 1,2-DCA under different conditions was investigated by adding a composite agent consisting of micron zero-valent iron (mZVI), a biological carbon source, and a few nutrients. Changes of the groundwater physical and chemical parameters were monitored. The results showed that, when the dosage of the composite agent reached 3%, the concentration of 1,2-dichloroethane could be reduced to below the detection limit within 15 days. Neutral pH and the presence of SO42- were more conducive to the dechlorination of 1,2-DCA. After 30 days, an obvious increase in the ethene concentration was detected (0.17-0.52 mg·L-1) and no significant vinyl chloride, chloroethane, or ethane was observed in the microcosms, illustrating that the dihaloelimination was the main degradation pathway of 1,2-DCA in the system. In addition, the groundwater could maintain a low oxidation-reduction potential (-100 to -300 mV), dissolved oxygen (<0.5 mg·L-1), and a suitable pH value (6.5-7.5) for a long time under the synergy of mZVI and a biological carbon source. This was beneficial to the activity of anaerobic microorganisms and to the dechlorination reaction.

There are lots of problems in the domestic remediation of Cr (Ⅵ) contaminated soil field, such as lack of the key processing parameters, poor long-term effect and so on.The Cr (Ⅵ) heavy polluted surface soil was sampled from an electroplating site in North-China,and then treated with five different reducing reagents. At the same time, the on-line ORP probes and interval sampling test were chosen to monitor the reaction process, and to explore the reaction rate and effect. The results showed that No.4 reagent had the highest Cr (Ⅵ) reduction effect, reaching up to 99.5%,and the minimum soil Cr (Ⅵ) concentration could reach 2.4 mg·kg-1.The No.1 and No.4 reagents had relatively faster reducing rates. There were obvious difference in ORP and pH monitoring values between different reductants, for example, the No.1 reagent kept the ORP value stable at around -400 mV.The No.4 reagent gradually increased the value from -200 mV to 100 mV since 30h,and then kept stable.According to the pH difference among different reductants, the No.4 reagent was the best and kept the pH value at around 7.Taking together the final effect and process key parameters, the No.4 reagent was the best. The scale-up experiment was operated with process monitoring, and the ORP and conductivity values showed that the reduction reaction took about 160 h.This work would provide theoretical basis for controlling the maintenance condition and reaction process in soil Cr (Ⅵ) remediation.

In order to investigate the adaption of Locusta migratoria tibetensis to the. environment, this paper adopted the experiments with full light exposure (24L/OD), total. darkness (OL/24D), and low temperature (5 °C) to study the effects of low temperature and illumination stress on the cold-resistant substances of L. migratoria tibetensis. The results showed that the fat content of L. migratoria tibetensis reached 11.8%, which was the highest under the condition of full light exposure (24L/OD) without low temperature stress. The fat content of body in low temperature and darkness treatment (OL/24D) was 4.7%, which was the lowest. The trehalose, mannitol and sorbitol contents of locust after low temperature stress were significantly higher than that of locust without the same stress. Glycogen content of locust treated by full light exposure without low temperature 'stress was the highest (6.40 mg . g-1). Besides, low temperature and darkness treatment stimulated the accumulation of alanine, glutamic acid, lysine, and phenylalanine, benefiting the accumulation of multi-amino acids, glycerinum, micro-molecule carbohydrate, and the reduction of glycogen and fat content.
