Porous graphitic carbon nitride microsphere with large specific surface area and controllable energy band structure is synthesized via a simple method with the supermolecule polymer of melamine-cyanuric acid (MCA) as the intermediates. The energy band structure and morphology of carbon nitride are closely correlative to the calcination time. And the CN-20 catalyst fabricated by calcination for 20 h exhibit superior photocatalytic activity of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) under visible-light (λ ≥ 420 nm) irradiation. The photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical test results indicate that Pt is the optimum cocatalyst candidate compared with Pd, Ru, and Ag. Meanwhile, the time-dependent process of the intermediate pyrolysis to carbon nitride and the internal mechanism of photogenerated charge transfer between semiconductors and cocatalyst is investigated and supplemented by theoretical calculations. This work provides a novel and energy band structure controllable manufacture strategy for porous carbon nitride semiconductor with satisfying visible-light photocatalytic reduction performance.

Objective: To investigate the effects of morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets and oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets on T-cell levels in advanced lung squamous cell carcinoma(LUSC) with moderate to severe cancer pain. Methods: A retrospective study was used, ninety-eight patients who were admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University for treatment of advanced LUSC with moderate to severe cancer pain between January 2021 and December 2021 were randomized into two groups(n=49 each) using the sealed envelope system. The reference group was treated with morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets, while the experimental group received oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets to compare pain relief rates(PRRs), levels of T cells, pain intensity, et al. Blood samples were collected for lymphocyte levels by flow cytometry. Results: The experimental group had significantly higher level than the reference group(P<0.05). Before administration, the two groups did not differ greatly in levels of T-cell subsets or pain scores on the visual analog scale(P>0.05, respectively). At 15 days of administration, the Treg level in the experimental group was higher than in the reference group; T helper 17 and 22 cells were reduced in both groups, and the decrease was more pronounced in the experimental group. At seven and 15 days of administration, the experimental group had a VAS score significantly lower than the reference group(P<0.05). The total adverse reaction rate was significantly lower in the experimental group as compared with the reference group(P<0.05). Conclusions: Oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets demonstrate desirable efficacy and safety in advanced LUSC with moderate to severe cancer pain by modulating T-cells in the body and improving the PRR.

Since the western region of China, which is typical of extraordinary resource endowments, has gradually emerged as the major mining zone in China, the mining of thick coal seams and roadways with coal-rock composite roof have become more and more common in this region. However, it is extremely difficult to realize safe and effective maintenance and control of such roadways due to the differences in natural endowments of coal-rock masses. With the roadway with coal-rock composite roof of Hulusu Coal Mine in western China as the engineering background, experiment research on large-scale similarity model was conducted through comprehensive measures such as the pneumatic loading system, the surrounding rock stress monitoring system, the roadway deformation monitoring system, the bolt load monitoring system, and the displacement field monitoring system in this paper. According to the results of the experiment, the control effects of the three support systems on the roadway with coal-rock composite roof were significantly different. When the single support of short anchor bolts was applied, the comparatively low initial anchor-hold failed to constrain the initial micro deformation of the roof. Consequently, wide-range fractures of the roof were triggered at a loading pressure of 0.8 MPa. In the meanwhile, the deep surrounding rocks witnessed a downward inflection point in stress, accompanied by the possibility of the collapse of the thin-layer anchorage zone at any time. As for the support combining both short anchor bolts and long anchor cables, though a reinforced effect on the bolt anchorage zone could be achieved with the help of the cables, the active reinforcement capacity of the bolt was limited. The bolt anchorage zone was the first to be damaged at a loading pressure of 0.9 MPa, which would subsequently affect the effective bearing capacity of the deep surrounding rocks. In the application of the single support of high-strength long anchor bolts, the long bolts with high pre-tightening force were able to lock multiple groups of coal-rock strata to form a thick-layer anchorage bearing structure capable of withstanding a load as high as 1.0 MPa. The crash and collapse of the coal wall eventually caused the subsidence of the roof. Based on the intense dynamic load experiment and the feedbacks of engineering application outcomes in the field, it was concluded that the high-pretension thick-layer (HPTL) anchoring technology can effectively constrain the deformation of roadways with coal-rock composite roof with favorable application outcomes.

BACKGROUD: With the reform of medical system in China, Beijing municipal hospitals explored a new pharmaceutical care model and set up medication therapy management services (MTMs) in ambulatory care since 2019. We were one of the first hospitals to set up this service in China. At the present, there were relatively few reports about the effect of MTMs in China. In this study, we summarized the implementation of MTMs in our hospital, explore the feasibility of pharmacist-led MTMs in ambulatory care and the impact of MTMs on patients' medical costs. METHODS: A retrospective study was conducted in a university-affiliated, tertiary comprehensive hospital in Beijing, China. The patients who received at least one MTMs and with complete medical records and pharmaceutical documents from May 2019 to February 2020 were included. Pharmacists provided pharmaceutical care for patients according to the MTMs standards issued by the American Pharmacists Association, identified the numbers and classification of the patients' perceived medication-related demands, identified medication-related problems (MRPs), and developed the medication-related action plans (MAPs). All MRPs found by pharmacists, pharmaceutical interventions, and resolving recommendations were documented, and calculate the cost of treatment drugs that patients can reduce. RESULTS: A total of 112 patients received MTMs in ambulatory care, among them 81 cases with the completed record were included in this study. 67.9% of patients had five or more diseases, 83% of them co-took over 5 drugs. While performing MTMs, 128 patients' perceived medication-related demands were recorded in all, monitoring and judgment of adverse drug reaction (ADR) (17.19%) was the most common demand. 181 MRPs were found, with an average of 2.55 MPRs per patient. Nonadherence (38%), excessive drug treatment (20%), and adverse drug events (17.12%) were the top three MRPs. Pharmaceutical care (29.77%), adjustment of drug treatment plan (29.10%) and referral to the clinical department (23.41%) were the top three MAPs. Whereby the MTMs provided by pharmacists, the cost-saving of each patient was about $ 43.2 monthly. CONCLUSION: By participating in the MTMs of outpatients, the pharmacists could identify more MRPs and develop personalized MAPs timely for patients, thereby promoting rational drug use and reducing medical expenses.

Background: Nivolumab is the first programmed cell death receptor 1 (PD-1) inhibitor approved in China. Compared with chemotherapy, nivolumab has shown advantages of good efficacy and safety in the treatment of a variety of tumors. However, due to its short time of use in China and lack of safety experience, clinical understanding of its adverse reactions has not been sufficiently elucidated. In recent years, cases of diabetic ketoacidosis caused by nivolumab have been reported in the emergency department, which has aroused our concern. Case Description: Here we present a serious case of diabetic ketoacidosis in a 69-year-old woman with invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lung, which occurred following therapy with the PD-1 inhibitor nivolumab and dendritic cell/cytokine-induced killer cell (DC/CIK) immunotherapy. She presented with diabetic ketoacidosis 5 days after the second cycle of nivolumab administration. The patient presented with dry mouth symptoms, a maximum blood glucose of 511.2 mg/dL, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level of 7.4%, urine ketone body value of 3+, and extracellular fluid residual alkali level of -3.8 mmol/L. Normal saline and insulin was initiated. The patient had no history of obesity or family history of diabetes. She received a single dose of 3.75 mg of dexamethasone treatment during this period of time which resulted in cough improvement, but did not explain the onset of the diabetes. She was treated with insulin, sitagliptin phosphate tablets and acarbose tablets. Diabetic ketoacidosis was considered an immune-related toxicity caused by nivolumab, and consequently, treatment with nivolumab was suspended. Patient was maintained under insulin treatment with a blood glucose levels normalization. Conclusions: The incubation period of nivolumab-induced diabetic ketoacidosis is dispersive and the clinical risk is high. Patients need life-long insulin therapy. Blood glucose and HbA1c should be monitored routinely before and during nivolumab immunotherapy to avoid the occurrence of diabetic ketoacidosis. After the occurrence of diabetic ketoacidosis, insulin should be used to actively control blood glucose and do a good job in medication education to ensure long-term compliance of patients. Nivolumab should only be initiated if the patient has a clinical benefit under stable glucose control.

With the increase of mining depth and strength, the evolution of bolt axial force is increasingly becoming important for ensuring the reliability and safety of support. To improve the problem of the existing coal mine roadway pressure-monitoring method, whereby it is difficult to continuously monitor the axial force of the bolt over a long period of time, a full rod fiber bragg grating (FBG) force-measuring bolt and system were designed based on the principle of fiber grating sensing. It was found that a trapezoidal groove is a relatively better groove. The linearity between the center wavelength offset of the fiber grating and the axial force was more than 0.99, and the conversion formula between the axial force of the bolt rod and the wavelength change of the fiber grating were obtained. The real-time monitoring revealed that the axial force of the bolt obviously changed before and after compression. The axial force distribution curve can be divided into the stable zone, growth zone, and peak zone. The influence of the roadway abutment pressure was approximately 130 m ahead of the working face, and the peak area was within the 25-35 m range of the advance working face. The axial force of the bolt rod at the end of the anchorage linearly increased with the tail end of the bolt, the axial force of the free segment was the largest, and the overall stress was essentially the same. The application results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the FBG full-length force bolt.

Cancer stem cells have been identified as the major cause of cancer initiation and progression. To investigate the effects of puerarin 6″-O-xyloside (PXY), derived from Pueraria lobata (Willd.) Ohwi, on lung cancer stem cells, we enriched and identified a subpopulation of lung cancer stem-like cells (LCSLCs) derived from lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells with traits including high self-renewal and invasive capability in vitro, elevated tumourigenicity in vivo, and high expression of stem cell markers CD44, CD133 and aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 (ALDH1). We found that PXY could impair cell viability, suppress self-renewal and invasive capability, and decrease CD133, CD44 and ALDH1 mRNA expression in LCSLCs in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, we showed that PXY suppressed the self-renewal and invasive capability of LCSLCs at least in part through suppressing the activation of Akt/c-Myc signalling. In conclusion, PXY can block the traits of LCSLCs, indicating that PXY may be a candidate compound for lung adenocarcinoma therapy via eliminating LCSLCs.

Trace nickel oxide-embedded hierarchical porous carbon nanofibers (CNF-NiO) were fabricated by electrospinning polyacrylonitrile-Ni(NO3)2 (PAN-Ni) followed by stabilization, carbonization and acid treatment. The resultant CNF-NiO was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermo gravimetric analysis and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm. The NiO amount and porous structure can be tuned by varying the PAN/Ni ratio and acid treatment time. The electrochemical properties of the electrospun CNF-NiO nanofibers were analyzed by cyclic voltammetry and impedance method. The specific capacity of 157.9 F/g was obtained at the PAN/Ni mass ratio of 90:3 with 3 h HCl wash. This porous CNF-NiO composite has been applied as a self-supporting cathode for capacitive deionization. The desalination amount arrived at 6.2 mg/g, which is 3 times as high as that of the electrospun pure carbon fibers. Longer wash time leads to decreased capacitance and desalination performance.

The closed pharmaceutical counseling room was so hard to be established for most of hospitals in China since limited space in the out-patient lobby, which dramatically affected the qualification of medication consultant. Few reports studied the importance of closed pharmaceutical counseling room construction. To investigate the necessary of closed pharmaceutical counseling room construction in the outpatient lobby. The closed pharmaceutical counseling room was established and equipped with hospital electronic information system, patient education flashes, and we-Chat in web. We collected the pharmaceutical counseling records before and after counseling room establishment and analyzed the results systematically. After the consulting venue transferred to the closed space, methods adopted by pharmacists in patient educations were diversification. Numbers of counseling people were increasing 4 folds after room establishment and questions were transferred from drug information supply to high professional pharmaceutical relation such as the usage of respiratory devices, drug-drug interaction, and so on.The alterations of consultant space provided a powerful platform on security, properly and suitable of patients' medication usage, keep the medication errors and poor compliance out of the serious consequence, and improve hospital satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary in outpatient lobby to develop the independent room for medication service.

The effectiveness of silica sol grout on mudstones is reported in this paper. Using X-ray diffraction (XRD), the study investigates how the silica sol grout modifies mudstone mineralogy. Micropore sizes and mechanical properties of the mudstone before and after grouting with four different materials were determined with a surface area/porosity analyser and by uniaxial compression. Tests show that, after grouting, up to 50% of the mesopore volumes can be filled with grout, the dominant pore diameter decreases from 100 nm to 10 nm, and the sealing capacity is increased. Uniaxial compression tests of silica sol grouted samples shows that their elastic modulus is 21%-38% and their uniaxial compressive strength is 16%-54% of the non-grouted samples. Peak strain, however, is greater by 150%-270%. After grouting, the sample failure mode changes from brittle to ductile. This paper provides an experimental test of anti-seepage and strengthening properties of silica sol.
