Objective: To explore the effect of "selecting acupoints by site" on the synergy effect of "acupoint compatibility" according to the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment of patients with gastroparesis. Methods: A total of 99 patients who met the diagnostic criteria for gastroparesis were enrolled in 3 clinical centers and randomly divided into group A (33 cases), group B (33 cases, 1 case of shedding), and group C (33 cases, 1 case of shedding). In group A, acupuncture was performed at Zhongwan (CV 12) and Zusanli (ST 36); in group B, acupuncture was performed at Neiguan (PC 6) and Zusanli (ST 36); in group C, acupuncture was performed at nonacupoint and Zusanli (ST 36). Treatment was performed for 30 minutes every day, 5 days as a course of treatment. There were 2 days off between courses and three courses in total. Differences in a main symptom index of gastroparesis (GCSI) scores, 9 symptom scores, and a health questionnaire (SF-36) were compared between each group before and after treatment and 4 weeks after the end of treatment. The difference of gastric emptying rate was compared before and after treatment. Results: The GCSI scores of each group after treatment and at follow-up were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0.01), and the reduction in group A was greater than that of groups B and C (P < 0.01). The score of each symptom was meaningfully lower than that before treatment (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). The effect was best in group A, followed by group B. After treatment, the barium meal in the stomach of the three groups was significantly reduced compared with before treatment (P < 0.01). There was no statistical difference between the groups. The results of SF-36 showed that acupuncture treatment can improve health status, to a certain extent, and there was no significant difference in the three groups. Conclusion: (1) Acupuncture is an effective method for the treatment of gastroparesis. (2) The combination of Zhongwan (CV 12) with Zusanli (ST 36) showed the most promising effect on relief of the symptoms in patients with gastroparesis. (3) "Selecting acupoints by site" is the key factor affecting the synergy effect of "acupoint compatibility." Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture at points selected from different regions on the positive expression of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) and the stem cell factor (SCF) in gastric antrum tissues in diabetic gastroparesis (DGP) rats, and to explore the influence of region-based point selection on the acupoint combination efficacy. Methods: Sixty Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into a normal group (group A), a model group (group B), a group of Zusanli (ST 36) plus Zhongwan (CV 12) (group C), a group of Zusanli (ST 36) plus Neiguan (PC 6) (group D), and a group of Zusanli (ST 36) plus non-meridian non-acupoint points (group E), based on the random number table (n=12). DGP rat model was established by single intraperitoneal injection of 2% streptozotocin and common diet. After successful modeling, the rats were treated once a day for 4 weeks. Positive ICC and SCF expressions were measured by immunohistochemistry. Results: Compared with group A, the gastrointestinal propulsion rate of group B showed a statistically significant decrease (P<0.05). Compared with group B, the gastrointestinal propulsion rate and the expression of ICC in the gastric antrum were significantly higher in group C, group D and group E, and the between-group differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the expression of C-kit protein in group C was statistically significantly higher than that in group D and group E (P<0.05). The expression of SCF protein was significantly increased in group C than in group B, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture can improve the symptoms of delayed gastric emptying in DGP model rats, and regulate the expression of ICC and SCF in gastric antrum tissues. The effect of Zusanli (ST 36) plus Zhongwan (CV 12) in the gastric region is superior to that of the Zusanli (ST 36) plus distal Neiguan (PC 6) or non-meridian non-acupoint point, indicating that region-based point selection is the key factor affecting the effect of acupoint combination.
<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To prepare cinnamic acid derivatives-g-CTS and to study its antioxidation activity.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The ability of catching oxygen of the products and raw material were determined through two methods, Marklund method and trace pyrogallic acid method, with autoxidation reaction of pyrogallol as the oxygen anion source.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The antioxidation activities of all products were better than the raw material.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Cinnamic acid derivatives-g-CTS is suitable as the O2-* -capture agent.</p>

Objective To explore the epidemiologic al features of emergency calls around the spring festival holiday in past 5 years,so as to guide emergency medical services during holldays.Methods An investigation was made into emergency calls around the spring festival holiday in 2001～2005(1～7 of the first month of the lunar year) as well as one week before and after the holiday.Results The person-times to emergency during the spring festival holiday was correspondly stabilize in the recent 5 years,compared to the datas of the previous and subsequent 1 week,the person-times of emergency and the patients needed to rescue at first significantly increased,and the patients to pediatric emergency increased most significantly.The most part of the person-times to emergency were internal medicine.Conclusion It is essential to do a good job of health education and disease prevention,especially among high risk groups of people,and to reinforce the establishment of the emergency medical services system so as to effectively guarantee the the development of holiday economy.
OBJECTIVE：Probe into the feasibility of preparation of diclofenac sodium with β-cyclodextrins in 1∶1 and 2∶1 inclusion compounds ,and find out the affection in solubility of diclofenac sodium. METHODS:The 1∶1 and 2∶1 melusion compounds were prepared by liquid-phase an alysis the content and determination them solubility.RESULT:The 1 ∶1 and 2∶1 inclusion compounds were prepared by different ratio of reactants and etermined them mp were 299～300.5℃ and 302～303℃ respectively. CONCLUSION：Of us is that solubilits of the 1∶1 and 2∶1 inclusion compounds increase 0.65 and 1 times respetively comparing with declofenac sodium.

Methods An investigation was made into e-mergency cases during the National Day holiday in 2002 (October 1-October 7) as well as one week before and after the holiday and comparison was made between the numbers of emergency cases in the past three years. Results In the past three years, the number of emergency cases around the National Day holiday has been going down year by year whereas at the same time the number of hospitalized patients and patients admitted to the observation ward has been going up. During the National Day holiday in 2002, the number of emergency cases, hospitalized patients and patients admitted to the observation ward increased markedly compared with those before and after the holiday, with the most remarkable increase in the number of pediatric emergency cases and the biggest number of emergency cases in internal medicine. Conclusion It is essential to do a good job of health education and disease prevention, especially among high risk groups of people, and to reinforce the establishment of the emergency medical service system so as to effectively guarantee the development of holiday economy.
