Direct current (DC) electric field has shown promising performance in contaminated site remediation, in which the Joule heating effect plays an important role but has been previously underappreciated. This study focuses on the spatiotemporal characteristics and mechanism of temperature change in heterogeneous porous media with applied DC. The heating process can be divided into four phases: preferential heating of the low permeability zone (LPZ), rapid heating in the middle region, temperature drop and hot zone shift, and reheating. The dynamic ion behaviors with complex interplays among reactions, electrokinetic-driven migration, and mixed convection induced an uneven redistribution of ions and dominated the heating rate and temperature distribution. The concentration of major ions near the pH jump decreased to 1% of the initial value, even though ions were continuously pumped into the heating zone. This ion depletion caused a drop in current, heating rate, and temperature. Here ions cannot be delivered rapidly into the ion-depleted zone by electromigration due to the potential flattening in the surrounding region. The presence of LPZ intensified the nonuniformity of ion redistribution, where a regional focusing of water-soluble ions was observed, and weakened the temperature rebound compared with that using homogeneous sand. These results provide a new perspective on the regulation of DC heating in site remediation.

The ideal interface design between the metal and substrate is crucial in determining the overall performance of the alkyne semihydrogenation reaction. Single-atom alloys (SAAs) with isolated dispersed active centers are ideal media for the study of reaction effects. Herein, a charge-asymmetry "armor" SAA (named Pd1Fe SAA@PC), which consists of a Pd1Fe alloy core and a semiconducting P-doped C (PC) shell, is rationally designed as an ideal catalyst for the selective hydrogenation of alkynes with high efficiency. Multiple spectroscopic analyses and density functional theory calculations have demonstrated that Pd1Fe SAA@PC is dual-regulated by lattice tensile and Schottky effects, which govern the selectivity and activity of hydrogenation, respectively. (1) The PC shell layer applied an external traction force causing a 1.2% tensile strain inside the Pd1Fe alloy to increase the reaction selectivity. (2) P doping into the C-shell layer realized a transition from a p-type semiconductor to an n-type semiconductor, thereby forming a unique Schottky junction for advancing alkyne semihydrogenation activity. The dual regulation of lattice strain and the Schottky effect ensures the excellent performance of Pd1Fe SAA@PC in the semihydrogenation reaction of phenylethylene, achieving a conversion rate of 99.9% and a selectivity of 98.9% at 4 min. These well-defined interface modulation strategies offer a practical approach for the rational design and performance optimization of semihydrogenation catalysts.

This article designs and implements a fast and high-precision multi-robot environment modeling method based on bidirectional filtering and scene identification. To solve the problem of feature tracking failure caused by large angle rotation, a bidirectional filtering mechanism is introduced to improve the error-matching elimination algorithm. A global key frame database for multiple robots is proposed based on a pretraining dictionary to convert images into a bag of words vectors. The images captured by different sub-robots are compared with the database for similarity score calculation, so as to realize fast identification and search of similar scenes. The coordinate transformation from local map to global map and the cooperative SLAM exploration of multiple robots is completed by the best matching image and the transformation matrix. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively close the predicted trajectory of the sub-robot, thus achieving high-precision collaborative environment modeling.

2D magnetic materials hold substantial promise in information storage and neuromorphic device applications. However, achieving a 2D material with high Curie temperature (TC), environmental stability, and multi-level magnetic states remains a challenge. This is particularly relevant for spintronic devices, which require multi-level resistance states to enhance memory density and fulfil low power consumption and multi-functionality. Here, the synthesis of 2D non-layered triangular and hexagonal magnetite (Fe3O4) nanosheets are proposed with high TC and environmental stability, and demonstrate that the ultrathin triangular nanosheets show broad antiphase boundaries (bAPBs) and sharp antiphase boundaries (sAPBs), which induce multiple spin precession modes and multi-level resistance. Conversely, the hexagonal nanosheets display slip bands with sAPBs associated with pinning effects, resulting in magnetic-field-driven spin texture reversal reminiscent of "0" and "1" switching signals. In support of the micromagnetic simulation, direct explanation is offer to the variation in multi-level resistance under a microwave field, which is ascribed to the multi-spin texture magnetization structure and the randomly distributed APBs within the material. These novel 2D magnetite nanosheets with unique spin textures and spin dynamics provide an exciting platform for constructing real multi-level storage devices catering to emerging information storage and neuromorphic computing requirements.

The patient presented to the clinic with painful muscle swelling in the right lower extremity, which improved with immunosuppressive therapy. Initially, the condition was diagnosed as polymyositis but recurred soon after. After imaging and biopsy, the final diagnosis was primary skeletal muscle peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified (PSM-PTCL, NOS). In this report, we discuss the challenges in diagnosing and treating this aggressive malignancy and review the literature on PSM-PTCL, NOS. Key Points • To date, there are few reports of PSM-PTCL, NOS, and our case is the tenth. • It is crucial to consider PSM-PTCL, NOS, when presenting with localized muscle edema and unexplained pain. • Histopathological examination is likely the most effective method for diagnosing this rare disease.

Synergistic engineering of energy band alignment and interfacial electric field distribution is essential for photocatalyst design but is still challenging because of the limitation on refined regulation in the nanoscale. This study addresses the issue by employing surface modification and thermal-induced phase transformation in Bi2MoO6/BixOyIz hetero-nanofiber frameworks. The energy band alignment switches from a type-II interface to a Z-scheme contact with stronger redox potentials and inhibited electron traps, and the optimized built-in electric field distribution could be reached based on experimental and theoretical investigations. The engineered hetero-nanofibers exhibit outstanding visible-light-driven photocatalytic nitrogen reduction activity (605 µmol/g/h) and tetracycline hydrochloride removal rate (81.5% within 30 min), ranking them among the top-performing bismuth series materials. Furthermore, the photocatalysts show promise in activating advanced oxidants for efficient organic pollutant degradation. Moreover, the Bi2MoO6/Bi5O7I hetero-nanofibers possess good recycling stability owing to their three-dimensional network structure. This research offers valuable insights into heterojunction design for environmental remediation and industrial applications.

OBJECTIVE: The primary purpose of the study was to explore the clinical efficacy of the novel snare assisted endoscopic resection of extraluminal growing gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors (gastric GISTs) using external traction, and the secondary purpose was to compare the novel snare assisted endoscopic resection of extraluminal GISTs with the standard laparoscopic procedure. METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed the patients who underwent novel external traction assisted endoscopic resection or laparoscopic resection for their extraluminal gastric GIST ≤5 cm in diameter. RESULTS: A total of 111 patients (27 in the endoscopic group and 84 in the laparoscopic group) were included in this study. There was no significant difference in tumor diameter and complication rate between the two groups. The overall procedure time was slightly higher in the endoscopic group compared to the laparoscopic group (P = 0.034). However, postoperative hospitalization time (P < 0.001) and postoperative fasting time (P = 0.005) were shorter in the endoscopic group compared to the laparoscopic group. CONCLUSION: Snare external traction-assisted endoscopic resection of extraluminal growing gastric GISTs is safe and effective, and it provides a new adjunctive method for endoscopic resection of GIST.

Dissolve organic matters (DOM) usually showed negative effect on the removal of inorganic arsenic (As) in groundwater by electrochemical approaches, yet which parts of sub-component within DOM played the role was lack of evidence. Herein, we investigated the effects of land-source humic-like acid (HA) on groundwater As(III) removal using air cathode iron electrocoagulation, based on the parallel factor analysis of three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix and statistical methods. Our results showed that the land-source HA contained five kinds of components and all components presented significantly negative correlations with the removal of both As(III) and As(V). However, the high aromatic fulvic-like acid and low aromatic humic-like acid components of land-source HA presented the opposite correlations with the concentration of As(III) during the reaction. The high aromaticity fulvic-like components of land-source HA (Sigma-Aldrich HA, SAHA) produced during the reaction facilitated the oxidation of As(III) due to its high electron transfer capacities and good solubility in wide pH range, but the low aromaticity humic-like ones worked against the oxidation of As(III). Our findings offered the novel insights for the flexible activities of DOM in electron Fenton system.

Chronic ethanol consumption is a prevalent condition in contemporary society and exacerbates anxiety symptoms in healthy individuals. The activation of microglia, leading to neuroinflammatory responses, may serve as a significant precipitating factor; however, the precise molecular mechanisms underlying this phenomenon remain elusive. In this study, we initially confirmed that chronic ethanol exposure (CEE) induces anxiety-like behaviors in mice through open field test and elevated plus maze test. The cGAS/STING signaling pathway has been confirmed to exhibits a significant association with inflammatory signaling responses in both peripheral and central systems. Western blot analysis confirmed alterations in the cGAS/STING signaling pathway during CEE, including the upregulation of p-TBK1 and p-IRF3 proteins. Moreover, we observed microglial activation in the prefrontal cortex (PFC) of CEE mice, characterized by significant alterations in branching morphology and an increase in cell body size. Additionally, we observed that administration of CEE resulted in mitochondrial dysfunction within the PFC of mice, accompanied by a significant elevation in cytosolic mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) levels. Furthermore, our findings revealed that the inhibition of STING by H-151 effectively alleviated anxiety-like behavior and suppressed microglial activation induced by CEE. Our study unveiled a significant association between anxiety-like behavior, microglial activation, inflammation, and mitochondria dysfunction during CEE.

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) present significant challenges due to their associated amputation rates, mortality, treatment complexity and excessive costs. Our earlier work introduced a wound surgical integrated treatment (WSIT) for DFUs, yielding promising outcomes. This study focuses on a specific WSIT protocol employing antibiotic-loaded bone cement (ALBC) in the first Stage, and free vastus lateralis muscle-sparing (VLMS) flaps and split-thickness skin grafts (STSGs) in the second stage to repair non-weight-bearing DFUs. From July 2021 to July 2023, seven DFU patients (aged 47-71 years) underwent this treatment. Demographic data, hospital stay and repair surgery times were collected. Histological and immunohistochemical analyses assessed angiogenesis, collagen deposition and inflammation. SF-36 questionnaire measured pre- and postoperative quality of life. Preoperative ultrasound Doppler showed that the peak blood flow velocity of the recipient area artery was significantly >30 cm/s (38.6 ± 6.8 cm/s) in all patients. Muscle flap sizes varied from 8 × 3.5 × 1 to 18 × 6 × 2 cm. The operation time of the repair surgery was 156.9 ± 15.08 minutes, and the hospital stay was 18.9 ± 3.3 days. Histological analysis proved that covering DFUs with ALBC induced membrane formation and increased collagen, neovascularization and M2 macrophages fraction while reducing M1 macrophages one. All grafts survived without amputation during a 7- to 24-month follow-up, during which SF-36 scores significantly improved. A combination of ALBC with free VLMS flaps and STSGs proved to be safe and effective for reconstructing non-weight-bearing DFUs. It rapidly controlled infection, enhanced life quality and foot function, and reduced hospitalization time. We advocate integrating this strategy into DFU treatment plans.

BACKGROUND: Children from families who immigrated to the United States may consume a lower-quality diet compared with their US-born peers. However, specific features of their dietary patterns, which could be a focus for improving diet quality, are not well-studied. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to examine dietary patterns that distinguish interpersonal variability in dietary intake and explore the association of dietary patterns with nutrient intake and weight status. DESIGN: This study was a cross-sectional analysis of baseline data from the Live Well randomized controlled trial collected between 2009 and 2010. PARTICIPANTS/SETTING: Study participants included 313 children (3-12 years) whose mothers immigrated to the United States from Latin America and resided in Somerville, Massachusetts. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Dietary patterns (derived using principal component analysis); nutrient intake (derived from dietary data collected using the Block Food Screener); and weight status (categorized using body mass index z score based on measured height and weight). STATISTICAL ANALYSES PERFORMED: Nutrient intake levels were compared across quartiles for dietary patterns using analysis of covariance. Multivariable logistic or linear regression models were used to determine the associations between dietary pattern scores and odds of overweight or obesity or z scores. RESULTS: Two dietary patterns emerged: "fruits and vegetables" and "meat and sweets." Highest adherence to the fruits and vegetables pattern was associated with more healthful nutrient intake and lower odds of having overweight or obesity (odds ratio 0.37; 95% CI 0.16 to 0.98), but not body mass index z score (ß = -.07; 95% CI -.51 to 0.36) compared with the lowest adherence. Adherence to the meat and sweets pattern was associated with less healthful nutrient intake but not with the odds of experiencing overweight or obesity (odds ratio 0.48; 95% CI 0.16 to 1.46). CONCLUSIONS: A healthful dietary pattern in children of families who immigrated to the United States from Latin America may include a variety of fruits and vegetables. Longitudinal studies should be conducted to further assess the role of dietary intake patterns on the health of these children.

Objective: To investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of antibiotic bone cement directly inducing skin regeneration technology in the repairing of wound in the lateral toe flap donor area. Methods: Between June 2020 and February 2023, antibiotic bone cement directly inducing skin regeneration technology was used to repair lateral toe flap donor area in 10 patients with a total of 11 wounds, including 7 males and 3 females. The patients' age ranged from 21 to 63 years, with an average of 40.6 years. There were 3 cases of the distal segment of the thumb, 2 cases of the distal segment of the index finger, 1 case of the middle segment of the index and middle fingers, 1 case of the distal segment of the middle finger, and 3 cases of the distal segment of the ring finger. The size of the skin defect of the hand ranged from 2.4 cm×1.8 cm to 4.3 cm×3.4 cm. The disease duration ranged from 1 to 15 days, with an average of 6.9 days. The flap donor sites were located at fibular side of the great toe in 5 sites, tibial side of the second toe in 5 sites, and tibial side of the third toe in 1 site. The skin flap donor site wounds could not be directly sutured, with 2 cases having exposed tendons, all of which were covered with antibiotic bone cement. Results: All patients were followed up 6 months to 2 years, with an average of 14.7 months. All the 11 flaps survived and had good appearance. The wound healing time was 40-72 days, with an average of 51.7 days. There was no hypertrophic scar in the donor site, which was similar to the color of the surrounding normal skin; the appearance of the foot was good, and wearing shoes and walking of the donor foot were not affected. Conclusion: It is a feasible method to repair the wound in the lateral foot flap donor area with the antibiotic bone cement directly inducing skin regeneration technology. The wound heals spontaneously, the operation is simple, and there is no second donor site injury.

Rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs) have attracted much attention because of their high theoretical volumetric capacity and high safety. However, the uneven deposition behavior, harmful corrosion reaction and poor stability of magnesium metal anodes have hindered the practical application of RMBs. Herein, we propose a facile alloy electrodeposition method to construct an artificial layer on an Mg anode. Experimental results show that the polarization of the symmetric magnesium alloy-based (Mg-Sn@Mg and Mg-Bi@Mg) cells is significantly reduced (∼0.05 V) at a current density of 0.1 mA cm-2. The symmetric cells using the prepared Mg alloy anodes exhibited lower voltage hysteresis and ultra-stable cycling performance at a higher density of 1.0 mA cm-2 over 700 h. The in situ optical microscopy study clearly demonstrated that the Mg dendrite formation was successfully retarded by the designed Mg-Sn and Mg-Bi alloy artificial protective layer on Mg anodes. The superiority of Mg-Sn@Mg and Mg-Bi@Mg was further confirmed in full cells using Mo6S8 as the cathode. Compared with the Mo6S8//Mg full cell, the Mo6S8//Mg-Sn@Mg and Mo6S8//Mg-Bi@Mg full cells maintained an ultra-stable electrochemical performance even after 5000 cycles. This proof-of-concept provides a novel scope for the artificial coating layers on Mg anodes prepared by alloy electrodeposition and can be extended to other alloy anodes (i.e. Mg-Cu@Mg and so on). This work provides an avenue for the design of practical and high-performance RMBs and beyond.

Esophageal cancer ranks among the most prevalent malignant tumors globally, primarily due to its highly aggressive nature and poor survival rates. According to the 2020 global cancer statistics, there were approximately 604000 new cases of esophageal cancer, resulting in 544000 deaths. The 5-year survival rate hovers around a mere 15%-25%. Notably, distinct variations exist in the risk factors associated with the two primary histological types, influencing their worldwide incidence and distribution. Squamous cell carcinoma displays a high incidence in specific regions, such as certain areas in China, where it meets the cost-effectiveness criteria for widespread endoscopy-based early diagnosis within the local population. Conversely, adenocarcinoma (EAC) represents the most common histological subtype of esophageal cancer in Europe and the United States. The role of early diagnosis in cases of EAC originating from Barrett's esophagus (BE) remains a subject of controversy. The effectiveness of early detection for EAC, particularly those arising from BE, continues to be a debated topic. The variations in how early-stage esophageal carcinoma is treated in different regions are largely due to the differing rates of early-stage cancer diagnoses. In areas with higher incidences, such as China and Japan, early diagnosis is more common, which has led to the advancement of endoscopic methods as definitive treatments. These techniques have demonstrated remarkable efficacy with minimal complications while preserving esophageal functionality. Early screening, prompt diagnosis, and timely treatment are key strategies that can significantly lower both the occurrence and death rates associated with esophageal cancer.

OBJECTIVE: In this study, we investigated the relationship between sarcopenia and fatty liver in middle-aged and elderly patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) to provide a theoretical foundation for the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia. METHODS: A total of 282 patients diagnosed with T2DM aged 50 and older and were admitted to the Endocrinology Department of Xin Medical University First Affiliated Hospital between December 2021 and February 2023, were selected. Body mass index (BMI), and limb and trunk muscle mass of the patients were measured, and data were collected. Patients were grouped based on the sarcopenia diagnostic criteria. All study participants underwent the same physical examinations and laboratory tests. The relationship between the onset of sarcopenia and fatty liver in middle-aged and elderly patients diagnosed with T2DM was then investigated using statistical analysis. RESULTS: Comparing the sarcopenia group to the non-sarcopenia group revealed statistically significant variations in gender, BMI, fatty liver prevalence rate, uric acid (UA), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), blood glucose, blood lipid associated indicators, and limb skeletal muscle content. There were, however, no statistically significant differences in age, disease duration, hypertension, smoking, or alcohol intake. There was a positive correlation between BMI, UA, fasting c-peptide, and Appendicular Skeletal Muscle Index (ASMI). Higher levels of BMI, ASMI, and UA were identified as protective variables against sarcopenia by multifactorial logistic regression analysis. CONCLUSION: Higher levels of BMI, ASMI, and UA can greatly reduce skeletal muscle atrophy in patients with T2DM. Patients with a fatty liver may be less vulnerable to sarcopenia. There is little evidence, however, that a fatty liver works as a preventive factor against sarcopenia.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the correlation between peripheral blood B cell count and clinical features and prognosis of patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). METHODS: The relationship of peripheral blood B cell count with clinical features, laboratory indexes and prognosis in 67 patients with newly diagnosed DLBCL was retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS: Patients were divided into low B-cell count group (B cell<0.1×109/L, n=34) and high B-cell count group (B cell≥0.1×109/L, n=33) according to the median B cell count values. Compared with the high B cell count group, the low B cell count group had a higher proportion of patients with Lugano stage III-IV, elevated LDH, elevated ß2-MG and IPI score 3-5 and increased CRP (P =0.033, 0.000, 0.023, 0.001, 0.033). The peripheral CD3+ and CD4+ cell counts of patients in the low B cell count group were significantly lower than those in the high B cell count group (P =0.010, 0.017). After initial treatment, overall response rate (ORR) and complete remission (CR) rate in high B cell count group were significantly higher than those in low B cell count group (P =0.032, 0.013). The median follow-up time of patients was 23(2-77) months, progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) of patients in the high B cell count group were significantly better than those in the low B cell count group (P =0.001, 0.002). Univariate analysis showed that pretreatment low B cell count in the peripheral blood was associated with shortened PFS and OS (HR=4.108, P =0.002; HR=8.218, P =0.006). Multivariate analysis showed that low B cell count was an independent prognostic factor for shortened PFS (HR=3.116, P =0.037). CONCLUSION: Decreased peripheral blood B cell count in newly diagnosed DLBCL patients is associated with high-risk clinical features and may affect the efficacy of immunochemotherapy, which is associated with poor clinical prognosis.

The shortage of resources such as lithium and cobalt has promoted the development of novel battery systems with low cost, abundance, high performance, and efficient environmental adaptability. Due to the abundance and low cost of sodium, sodium-ion battery chemistry has drawn worldwide attention in energy storage systems. It is widely considered that wide-temperature tolerance sodium-ion batteries (WT-SIBs) can be rapidly developed due to their unique electrochemical and chemical properties. However, WT-SIBs, especially for their electrode materials and electrolyte systems, still face various challenges in harsh-temperature conditions. In this review, we focus on the achievements, failure mechanisms, fundamental chemistry, and scientific challenges of WT-SIBs. The insights of their design principles, current research, and safety issues are presented. Moreover, the possible future research directions on the battery materials for WT-SIBs are deeply discussed. Progress toward a comprehensive understanding of the emerging chemistry for WT-SIBs comprehensively discussed in this review will accelerate the practical applications of wide-temperature tolerance rechargeable batteries.

The development of heterogeneous chiral dirhodium catalysts for fabricating important bioactive substances and reducing the loss of noble metals has long been of significant interest. However, there still remains formidable synthetic challenges since it requires multiple steps of the synthetic process, and rhodium is easily leached from solid materials during the reaction. Here, we demonstrated a self-supported strategy based on the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction to construct two chiral dirhodium organic frameworks for heterogeneous asymmetric catalysis. The synthetic approach is simple and efficient since it requires only a small number of preparation steps and does not require any catalyst supporting materials. The obtained chiral dirhodium materials can be highly efficient and recyclable heterogeneous catalysts for asymmetric cyclopropanation between diazooxindole and alkenes. Importantly, Rh2-MOCP-2 exhibited almost similar catalytic performance compared to homogeneous catalyst Rh2(S-Br-NTTL)4. The afforded catalytic performance (93.9% yield with 80.9% ee) highly surpasses previous heterogeneous dirhodium catalysts reported to date.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the deadliest subtype of breast cancer owing to the lack of effective therapeutic targets. Splicing factor 3a subunit 2 (SF3A2), a poorly defined splicing factor, was notably elevated in TNBC tissues and promoted TNBC progression, as confirmed by cell proliferation, colony formation, transwell migration, and invasion assays. Mechanistic investigations revealed that E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UBR5 promoted the ubiquitination-dependent degradation of SF3A2, which in turn regulated UBR5, thus forming a feedback loop to balance these two oncoproteins. Moreover, SF3A2 accelerated TNBC progression by, at least in part, specifically regulating the alternative splicing of makorin ring finger protein 1 (MKRN1) and promoting the expression of the dominant and oncogenic isoform, MKRN1-T1. Furthermore, SF3A2 participated in the regulation of both extrinsic and intrinsic apoptosis, leading to cisplatin resistance in TNBC cells. Collectively, these findings reveal a previously unknown role of SF3A2 in TNBC progression and cisplatin resistance, highlighting SF3A2 as a potential therapeutic target for patients with TNBC.

Introduction: Produce prescription programs are rapidly expanding as a type of Food is Medicine intervention with prospects for mitigating food insecurity and reducing diet-related health disparities. Gaining insight into participant perspectives on program logistics and perceived impacts is crucial to program success and improvements. Methods: Between May and June 2021, we conducted individual and small group interviews with 23 caregivers with children aged 1-5 years who participated in a produce prescription program from 2020 to 2021 in Texas, U.S. They were provided with a gift card to a major national grocery retailer to purchase fresh produce. The card was reloaded $60 monthly for 8 months with automatic roll-over of unused funds to the next month. Participants also received nutrition education in the form of two videos. A deductive analysis approach was employed, and NVivo qualitative data analysis software was used to perform coding and to assist with subsequent analyses. Results: All 23 participants were female, with an average age of 37.5 years, and the majority identified as Hispanic/Latino (83%). About 43% of the families had three or more children. Six themes were generated from interviews. Three of these themes were related to program logistics: (1) ease of program use; (2) participant satisfaction with the incentive; and (3) desire for additional store options. The remaining main themes pertained to program impact: (1) the enhanced ability to purchase produce; (2) the usefulness of the nutrition education; and (3) persistent challenges encountered when preparing the produce for picky eaters and young children. Conclusion: A pediatric produce prescription program was perceived as logistically easy and a helpful source of financial support for accessing fresh produce. Program features such as card-based incentive system and partnership with major grocery retailer were favored by participants. For future program design, it may be beneficial to consider collaborating with multiple grocery outlets and enhancing the intensity and targeting of nutrition education.
