BACKGROUND: Japanese encephalitis (JE) is a serious health concern in China, with approximately 80 % of global infections occurring in China. To develop effective prevention and control strategies, this study explored the epidemiological characteristics of JE in China based on spatiotemporal data, to understand the patterns and trends of JE incidence in different regions and time periods. METHOD: The incidence and mortality rates of JE were extracted from the Public Health Data Center, the official website of the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, and the National Notifiable Infectious Disease Surveillance System from 2004 to 2019. Joinpoint regression was applied to examine the spatiotemporal patterns and annual percentage change in incidence and mortality of the JE. RESULTS: From 2004 to 2019, a total of 43,569 cases of JE were diagnosed, including 2081 deaths. The annual incidence rate of JE decreased from 0.4171/100,000 in 2004 to 0.0298/100,000 in 2019, with an annual percentage change (APC) of -13.5 % (P < 0.001). The annual mortality rate of JE showed three stages of change, with inflection points in 2006 and 2014. The incidence and mortality rates of JE have declined in all provinces of China, and more cases were reported in 0-14 years of age, accounting for nearly 80 % of all patients. CONCLUSIONS: The morbidity and mortality rates of JE in China are generally on a downward trend, and emphasis should be placed on strengthening disease surveillance in special areas and populations, popularizing vaccination, and increasing publicity.

Background: Hepatic Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury (HIRI) is a major complication in liver transplants and surgeries, significantly affecting postoperative outcomes. The role of mitophagy, essential for removing dysfunctional mitochondria and maintaining cellular balance, remains unclear in HIRI. Methods: To unravel the role of mitophagy-related genes (MRGs) in HIRI, we assembled a comprehensive dataset comprising 44 HIRI samples alongside 44 normal control samples from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database for this analysis. Using Random Forests and Support Vector Machines - Recursive Feature Elimination (SVM-RFE), we pinpointed eight pivotal genes and developed a logistic regression model based on these findings. Further, we employed consensus cluster analysis for classifying HIRI patients according to their MRG expression profiles and conducted weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) to identify clusters of genes that exhibit high correlation within different modules. Additionally, we conducted single-cell RNA sequencing data analysis to explore insights into the behavior of MRGs within the HIRI. Results: We identified eight key genes (FUNDC1, VDAC1, MFN2, PINK1, CSNK2A2, ULK1, UBC, MAP1LC3B) with distinct expressions between HIRI and controls, confirmed by PCR validation. Our diagnostic model, based on these genes, accurately predicted HIRI outcomes. Analysis revealed a strong positive correlation of these genes with monocytic lineage and a negative correlation with B and T cells. HIRI patients were divided into three subclusters based on MRG profiles, with WGCNA uncovering highly correlated gene modules. Single-cell analysis identified two types of endothelial cells with different MRG scores, indicating their varied roles in HIRI. Conclusions: Our study highlights the critical role of MRGs in HIRI and the heterogeneity of endothelial cells. We identified the macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) and cGAS-STING (GAS) pathways as regulators of mitophagy's impact on HIRI. These findings advance our understanding of mitophagy in HIRI and set the stage for future research and therapeutic developments.

Six previously undescribed prenylated indole diketopiperazine alkaloids, talaromyines A-F (1-6), were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Talaromyces purpureogenus SCSIO 41517. Their structures including absolute configurations were elucidated on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic data including NMR, HR-ESI-MS, and electronic circular dichroism calculations, together with chemical analysis of hydrolysates. Compounds 1-5 represent the first example of spirocyclic indole diketopiperazines biosynthesized from the condensation of L-tryptophan and L-alanine. Compounds 2 and 4-5 showed selective inhibitory activities against phosphatases TCPTP and MEG2 with IC50 value of 17.9-29.7 µM, respectively. Compounds 4-5 exhibited mild cytotoxic activities against two human cancer cell lines H1975 and HepG-2.

The current quality control method for Turkish gall (TG) is limited to assessing total tannin or gallic acid (GA), which offers a basic level of quality control but does not fully capture the true quality of TG. Therefore, it is essential to establish a comprehensive method that utilizes multiple indicators to assess the intrinsic quality of TG. This research utilized UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS technology to qualitatively analyze the chemical composition of TG. Subsequently, the potential main active ingredients, targets, and pathways of TG in treating recurrent aphthous ulcers (RAU) were explored and analyzed using network pharmacology technology. Quantitative analysis of multicomponents by single marker (QAMS) was then employed to quantify the primary pharmacodynamic components in TG. Finally, chemometrics analysis was utilized to interpret the measured results and identify the markers of scavenging quality. The study identified 36 chemical components in TG, highlighting ellagic acid (EA), GA, and so on as key components in treating RAU. A method for simultaneously determining GA, EA, 1,2,3,6-tetra-O-galloyl-ß-D-glucose (TEGG) and 1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-ß-D-glucose (PEGG) in TG was established. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences in the content of these 4 components across 14 batches of TG, with GA and PEGG identified as the primary contributors to the variations. This study determined a quality index for TG, providing a reference for quality evaluation and introducing a cost-effective and efficient quality control method. Furthermore, it addressed the challenge of developing new Chinese medicine by overcoming the lack of reference substances.

BACKGROUND: Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) is an alternative to biventricular pacing (BVP) for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). However, despite the presence of left bundle branch block, whether cardiac substrate may influence the effect between the 2 strategies is unclear. OBJECTIVES: This study aims to assess the association of septal scar on reverse remodeling and clinical outcomes of LBBAP compared with BVP. METHODS: We analyzed patients with nonischemic cardiomyopathy who had CRT indications undergoing preprocedure cardiac magnetic resonance examination. Changes in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and echocardiographic response (ER, ≥5% absolute LVEF increase) were assessed at 6 months. The clinical outcome was the composite of all-cause mortality, heart failure hospitalization, or major ventricular arrhythmia. RESULTS: There were 147 patients included (51 LBBAP and 96 BVP). Among patients with low septal scar burden (below median 5.7%, range: 0 to 5.3%), LVEF improvement was higher in the LBBAP than the BVP group (17.5% ± 10.9% vs 12.3% ± 11.8%; P = 0.037), with more than 3-fold increased odds of ER (odds ratio: 4.35; P = 0.033). In high sepal scar subgroups (≥5.7%, range: 5.7% to 65.9%), BVP trended towards higher LVEF improvement (9.2% ± 9.4% vs 6.4% ± 12.4%; P = 0.085). Interaction between septal scar burden and pacing strategy was significant for ER (P = 0.002) and LVEF improvement (P = 0.011) after propensity score adjustment. During median follow-up of 33.7 (Q1-Q3: 19.8 to 42.1) months, the composite clinical outcome occurred in 34.7% (n = 51) of patients. The high-burden subgroups had worse clinical outcomes independent of CRT method. CONCLUSIONS: Remodeling response to LBBAP and BVP among nonischemic cardiomyopathy patients is modified by septal scar burden. High septal scar burden was associated with poor clinical prognosis independent of CRT methods.

Uyghur medicine is one of the four major ethnic medicines in China and is a component of traditional Chinese medicine. The intrinsic quality of Uyghur medicinal materials will directly affect the clinical efficacy of Uyghur medicinal preparations. However, in recent years, problems such as adulteration of Uyghur medicinal materials and foreign bodies with the same name still exist, so it is necessary to strengthen the quality control of Uyghur medicines to guarantee Uyghur medicinal efficacy. Identifying the components of Uyghur medicines can clarify the types of medicinal materials used, is a crucial step to realizing the quality control of Uyghur medicines, and is also an important step in screening the effective components of Uyghur medicines. Currently, the method of identifying the components of Uyghur medicines relies on manual detection, which has the problems of high toxicity of the unfolding agent, poor stability, high cost, low efficiency, etc. Therefore, this paper proposes a method based on Raman spectroscopy and multi-label deep learning model to construct a model Mix2Com for accurate identification of Uyghur medicine components. The experiments use computer-simulated mixtures as the dataset, introduce the Long Short-Term Memory Model (LSTM) and Attention mechanism to encode the Raman spectral data, use multiple parallel networks for decoding, and ultimately realize the macro parallel prediction of medicine components. The results show that the model is trained to achieve 90.76% accuracy, 99.41% precision, 95.42% recall value and 97.37% F1 score. Compared to the traditional XGBoost model, the method proposed in the experiment improves the accuracy by 49% and the recall value by 18%; compared with the DeepRaman model, the accuracy is improved by 9% and the recall value is improved by 14%. The method proposed in this paper provides a new solution for the accurate identification of Uyghur medicinal components. It helps to improve the quality standard of Uyghur medicinal materials, advance the research on screening of effective chemical components of Uyghur medicines and their action mechanisms, and then promote the modernization and development of Uyghur medicine.

Probiotics, recognized as beneficial and active microorganisms, often face challenges in maintaining their functionality under harsh conditions such as exposure to stomach acid and bile salts. In this investigation, we developed probiotic microcapsules and assessed their protective effects and underlying mechanisms in a murine model of dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis using male C57BL/6J mice. The administration of the probiotic microcapsules significantly mitigated body weight loss, prevented colon length shortening, decreased the disease activity index scores, and reduced histopathological scores in mice with DSS-induced colitis. Concurrently, the microencapsulated probiotics preserved intestinal barrier integrity by upregulating the expressions of tight junction proteins ZO-1 and occludin, as well as the mucus layer component MUC-2. Moreover, the treatment with probiotic microcapsules suppressed the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome signaling pathway in the context of DSS-induced colitis. In conclusion, these findings support the utilization of probiotic microcapsules as a potential functional food ingredient to maintain the permeability of the intestinal barrier and alleviate colonic inflammation in UC.

Beyond the antimicrobial activity, doxycycline (DOX) exhibits longevity-promoting effect in nematodes, while its effect on mammals is unclear. Here, we applied a mouse model of Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome (HGPS), Zmpste24 knockout (KO) mice, and analyzed the antiaging effect of DOX. We found that the DOX treatment prolongs lifespan and ameliorates progeroid features of Zmpste24 KO mice, including the decline of body and tissue weight, exercise capacity and cortical bone density, and the shortened colon length. DOX treatment alleviates the abnormal nuclear envelope in multiple tissues, and attenuates cellular senescence and cell death of Zmpste24 KO and HGPS fibroblasts. DOX downregulates the level of proinflammatory IL6 in both serum and tissues. Moreover, the elevated α-tubulin (K40) acetylation mediated by NAT10 in progeria, is rescued by DOX treatment in the aorta tissues in Zmpste24 KO mice and fibroblasts. Collectively, our study uncovers that DOX can decelerate aging in progeria mice via counteracting IL6 expression and NAT10-mediated acetylation of α-tubulin.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT), a promising treatment modality, employs photosensitizers to generate cytotoxic reactive oxygen species (ROS) within localized tumor regions. This technique involves administering a photosensitizer followed by light activation in the presence of oxygen (O2), resulting in cytotoxic ROS production. PDT's spatiotemporal selectivity, minimally invasive nature, and compatibility with other treatment modalities make it a compelling therapeutic approach. However, hypoxic tumor microenvironment (TME) poses a significant challenge to conventional PDT. To overcome this hurdle, various strategies have been devised, including in-situ O2 generation, targeted O2 delivery, tumor vasculature normalization, modulation of mitochondrial respiration, and photocatalytic O2 generation. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of recent developments in designing tumor-oxygenated nanomaterials to enhance PDT efficacy. Furthermore, we delineate ongoing challenges and propose strategies to improve PDT's clinical impact in cancer treatment.

In this study, we applied various thermal pretreatment methods (e.g., hot-air, microwave, and stir-frying) to process walnut kernels, and conducted comparative analysis of the physicochemical properties, nutritional components, in vitro antioxidant activity, and flavor substances of the extracted walnut oil (WO). The results indicated that, thermal pretreatment significantly increased the extraction of total trace nutrients (e.g., total phenols, tocopherols, and phytosterols) in WO. The WO produced using microwave had 2316.71 mg/kg of total trace nutrients, closely followed by the stir-frying method, which yielded an 11.22% increase compared to the untreated method. The WO obtained by the microwave method had a higher Oxidative inductance period (4.05 h) and oil yield (2.48%). After analyzing the flavor in WO, we found that aldehydes accounted for 28.77% of the 73 of volatile compounds and 58.12% of the total flavor compound content in microwave-pretreated WO, these percentages were higher than those recorded by using other methods. Based on the comprehensive score obtained by the PCA, microwave-pretreatment might be a promising strategy to improve the quality of WO based on aromatic characteristics.

Bacterial diseases could severely harm agricultural production. To develop new antibacterial agents, the secondary metabolites of a deep-sea-derived fungus Simplicillium obclavatum EIODSF 020 with antibacterial activities against plant and fish pathogens were investigated by a bioassay-guided approach, which led to the isolation of 11 new peptaibiotics, simplicpeptaibs A-K (1-11). They contain 16-19 residues, including ß-alanine, tyrosine, or tyrosine O-sulfate, that were rarely present in peptaibiotics. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses (NMR, HRMS, HRMS2, and ECD) and Marfey's method. The primary and secondary structures of novel sulfated peptaibiotic 9 were reconfirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Genome sequencing of S. obclavatum EIODSF 020 allowed the detection of a gene cluster encoding two individual NRPSs (totally containing 19 modules) that was closely related to simplicpeptaib biosynthesis. Antibacterial investigations of 1-11 together with the previously isolated linear and cyclic peptides from this strain suggested the antibacterial property of this fungus was attributed to the peptaibiotics and cyclic lipopeptides. Among them, compounds 4, 6, 7, and 9 showed significant activity against the tobacco pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum or tilapia pathogens Streptococcus iniae and Streptococcus agalactiae. The antibacterial activity of 6 against R. solanacearum could be enhanced by the addition of 1% NaCl. The structure-bioactivity relationship of simplicpeptaibs was discussed.

BACKGROUND: Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is an established therapy for advanced heart failure (HF) with prolonged QRS duration. However, 30% of patients have shown no benefit from the treatment. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to examine the value of left atrial (LA) mechanics by cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) to predict response to CRT and clinical outcomes. METHODS: A total of 163 CRT recipients with preimplantation CMR examination were retrospectively recruited. CMR feature tracking was used to evaluate LA size and function. The end points include (1) improvement of at least 5% in left ventricular ejection fraction combined with a reduction of at least 1 New York Heart Association functional class at 6-month follow-up and (2) any all-cause death or HF hospitalization during follow-up. RESULTS: Overall, 82 (50.3%) were CRT responders. CRT nonresponders had larger LA and worse LA reservoir and booster pump function than did responders (P < .001 for all). LA structural (maximum volume index < 47 mL/m2) and functional (booster pump strain > 8.5%) criteria were incremental to traditional indicators in detecting CRT response (χ2, 40.83 vs 9.98; P < .001). During follow-up (median 41 months), survival free from death or HF hospitalization increased with the number of positive LA criteria (log-rank, P < .001). After adjustment for clinical confounders, the absence of the 2 criteria remained associated with a considerably increased risk of death or HF hospitalization (adjusted hazard ratio 6.2; 95% confidence interval 2.15-17.88; P = .001). CONCLUSION: The preprocedure LA mechanics evaluated using CMR may be useful to predict response to CRT and improve risk stratification in CRT recipients.

Panoramic radiography imaging plays a crucial role in the diagnostic process of dental diseases. However, current artificial intelligence research datasets for panoramic radiography dental image processing are often limited to single-center and single-task scenarios, making it difficult to generalize their results. To address this, we present a multi-center, multi-task labeled dataset. In this study, our dataset comprises three datasets obtained from different hospitals. The first set has 4940 panoramic radiography images and corresponding labels from the Stemmatological Hospital of the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University. The second set includes 716 panoramic radiography images and labels from the People's Hospital of Yinchuan City, Ningxia. The third dataset contains 880 panoramic radiography images and labels from a hospital in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. This comprehensive dataset encompasses three types of dental diseases: impacted teeth, periodontitis, and dental caries. Specifically, it comprises 2555 images related to impacted teeth, 2735 images related to periodontitis, and 1246 images related to dental caries. In order to evaluate the performance of the dataset, we conducted benchmark tests for segmentation and classification tasks on our dataset. The results show that the presented dataset could be effectively used for benchmarking segmentation and classification tasks critical to the diagnosis of dental diseases. PURPOSE: 18ß-glycyrrhetinic acid (GA), the main metabolite of glycyrrhizic acid extracted from the root of licorice, has been reported to possess anti-cancer and immunomodulatory activity, but the mechanisms are not well understood. Recent studies have shown that ferroptosis of immune cells is involved in tumor-associated immune suppression. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the enhanced immune response via inhibiting immune cell ferroptosis contributed to the anticancer effect of 18ß-GA. METHODS: Lewis Lung carcinoma mouse model and Murine CD8 + T cell culture model were used to examine the changes of immune response and ferroptosis of immune cells. RESULTS: We found that 18ß-GA was effective against lung cancer accompanied by enhanced activation of tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T cells in Lewis Lung carcinoma mouse model. Furthermore, we demonstrated that the boosted immune response by GA was attributed to its ability to inhibit arachidonic acid (AA)-mediated CD8+ T ferroptosis via suppressing CD36 expression. CONCLUSION: The findings of the present study unraveled a novel mechanism underlying the anti-cancer and immunomodulatory activity of 18ß-GA and support that 18ß-GA holds potential to be used as an immune enhancer for lung cancer prevention or treatment.

The combined pollution of lead (Pb) and polystyrene microplastics (PS-MPs) is common in aquatic environments. However, the combined neurotoxicity of these two pollutants is still poorly understood. In this study, zebrafish (Danio rerio) larvae were used to assess the combined neurotoxicity and mechanism of Pb and PS-MPs at environmentally relevant concentrations. The results showed that Pb (10 µg/L) induced abnormal behavior including significantly reduced movement distance, maximum acceleration, and average velocity (P < 0.05) along with altered expression of neurodevelopment-related genes (gap43 and α1-tubulin) (P < 0.05). PS-MPs (25 µg/L, 250 µg/L; diameter at 25 µm) co-exposure not only significantly reduced the concentration of Pb in the exposed solution (P < 0.01), but also decreased the uptake of Pb by downregulating the divalent metal transporter 1 gene (dmt1) (P < 0.01), thereby alleviating Pb-induced neurotoxicity. However, to demonstrate that PS-MPs alleviate the neurotoxicity of Pb by reducing Pb uptake, upregulation of dmt1 by addition of deferoxamine (DFO, an efficient iron chelator, 100 µM) significantly increased the Pb uptake and exacerbated neurotoxicity in zebrafish. In summary, our results demonstrated that PS-MPs alleviate Pb neurotoxicity by downregulating the mRNA level of dmt1 and decreasing the Pb uptake. This study provides a new insight into the combined neurotoxicity and underlying mechanisms of PS-MPs and Pb on zebrafish.

PURPOSE: The present study was designed to investigate the precise procedure and effectiveness of percutaneous minimally invasive fixation assisted by TiRobot in managing AO/OTA type 41B2 tibial plateau fracture to provide an alternative solution for clinical application. METHODS: In total, 10 participants with AO/OTA type 41B2 tibial plateau fractures diagnosed by preoperative imaging examinations were enrolled in this study between May 2019 and May 2022. They were 5 males and 5 females, with an average age of 45.6 ± 11.3 years old (range 27-62 years old). All of them had closed fractures, including 6 cases with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tibial insertion avulsion fractures, 1 case with medial collateral ligament (MCL) tear, and 4 cases with a lateral meniscus tear. From injury through surgery, the entire time frame was 4.0 ± 1.5 days (range, 2-7 days). Following indirect percutaneous reduction assisted by TiRobot, the Jail method was used to treat all patients with minimally invasive internal fixation. Patients with ligament or meniscus injurieswere treated with arthroscopic surgery in one stage. The standardized functional exercise was performed postoperatively. The knee function was measured using the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) score, and the fracture reduction was assessed through the Rasmussen radiology score. RESULTS: All patients were followed up for 12.7 ± 6.8 months (6-24 months).The fracture healing time was 11.8 ± 0.8 weeks (10-13 weeks), and the X-rays revealed satisfactory fracture reduction.The knee joint's Rasmussen score was 17.8 ± 0.4 (in the range of 17-18) a year after the procedure, with 8 patients receiving outstanding ratings and 2 cases receiving satisfactory scores. The HSS score was 93.8 ± 2.3 (range, 89 to 96), of which 10 cases were excellent. The motion range of the kneewas 138.7°±2.7° (range, -5° to 0° to 135°). No adverse effects or serious complications, such as internal fixation failure, postoperative infection, popliteal vascular injury, and common peroneal nerve injury, were observed during the last follow-up visit. CONCLUSIONS: The intelligent assistance and accurate guidance of TiRobot can simplify and standardize procedures of percutaneous minimally invasive fixation in theSchatzker type Ⅲ tibial plateau fracture treatment. This technique increases the precision of indirect percutaneous reduction and screw fixation while minimizing bone grafting.

Xylooligosaccharides (XOSs) have recently garnered interest for their potential as an anti-constipation agent. In this study, we investigated the effects of XOSs derived from corn cobs on constipation in mice through a comprehensive analysis of both the metabolome and transcriptome. Our multi-omics approach revealed that XOSs primarily modulated butanoate metabolism and steroid hormone biosynthesis pathways, as well as key signaling pathways such as PPAR and NF-kappa B. Notably, we observed a decrease in inflammatory biomarker expression and an elevation of butyric acid metabolite levels with XOSs treatment. A deeper analysis of gene expression and metabolite alterations highlighted significant changes in genes encoding critical enzymes and metabolites involved in these pathways. Overall, these findings underscore the considerable potential of XOSs derived from corn cobs as a dietary supplement for effectively alleviating constipation.

OBJECTIVES: Left atrial (LA) myopathy, characterized by LA enlargement and mechanical dysfunction, is associated with worse prognosis in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) while the impact of sarcomere mutation on LA myopathy remains unclear. We aimed to assess the association between LA myopathy and sarcomere mutation and to explore the incremental utility of LA strain in mutation prediction. METHODS: A total of 105 consecutive HCM patients (mean age 47.8 ± 11.9 years, 71% male) who underwent HCM-related gene screening and cardiac MRI were retrospectively enrolled. LA volume, ejection fraction and strain indices in reservoir, conduit, and booster-pump phases were investigated respectively. RESULTS: Fifty mutation-positive patients showed higher LA maximal volume index (59.4 ± 28.2 vs 43.8 ± 18.1 mL/m2, p = 0.001), lower reservoir (21.3 ± 7.9 vs 26.2 ± 6.6%, p < 0.001), and booster-pump strain (12.1 ± 5.4 vs 17.1 ± 5.0%, p < 0.001) but similar conduit strain (9.2 ± 4.5 vs 9.1 ± 4.5%, p = 0.909) compared with mutation-negative patients. In multivariate logistic regression, LA booster-pump strain was associated with sarcomere mutation (odds ratio = 0.86, 95% confidence interval: 0.77-0.96, p = 0.010) independent of maximal wall thickness, late gadolinium enhancement, and LA volume. Furthermore, LA booster-pump strain showed incremental value for mutation prediction added to Mayo II score (AUC 0.798 vs 0.709, p = 0.024). CONCLUSIONS: In HCM, mutation-positive patients suffered worse LA enlargement and worse reservoir and booster-pump functions. LA booster-pump strain was a strong factor for sarcomere mutation prediction added to Mayo II score. CLINICAL RELEVANCE STATEMENT: The independent association between sarcomere mutation and left atrial mechanical dysfunction provide new insights into the pathogenesis of atrial myopathy and is helpful to understand the adverse prognosis regarding atrial fibrillation and stroke in mutation-positive patients. KEY POINTS: • In patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, left atrial (LA) reservoir and booster-pump function, but not conduit function, were significantly impaired in mutation-positive patients compared with mutation-negative patients. • LA booster-pump strain measured by MRI-derived feature tracking is feasible to predict sarcomere mutation with high incremental value added to Mayo II score.

Walnut oils were obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (SCB), cold-pressing (CP), hexane extraction (HE), and subcritical butane extraction (SBE), and walnut protein isolates (WPI) from the walnut cakes were performed. The results indicate that SCB has the highest oil yield for walnut oil, which was 62.72%, and the total content of trace nutrients (total tocopherols, total phytosterols, and total phenolic compounds) in SCB-walnut oil was also the highest at 2186.75 mg/kg, approximately 1.05 times higher than CP-walnut oil and 1.21 times higher than SBE-walnut oil. Meanwhile, the treatment of WPI with SCB results in a decrease in ß-Sheet and α-Helix structures and an increase in ß-Turn and Random coil structures. Thereby increasing its oil-holding capacity (OHC) and solubility by approximately 1.16 times and 1.27 times compared to CP, respectively. Interestingly, SCB as a green oil production technology, also has good prospects for retaining WPI functionality characteristics.
