ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of breast-conserving therapy for early breast cancer. Methods 72 cases of early stage breast cancer patients selected form June 2008 to March 2009 in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively,all of them were unilateral lesions. The patients were divided into two groups according to the treat-ment,36 patients in each group,the control group was implemented modified radical mastectomy,the observation group was implemented breast-conserving surgery,the breast shape excellent rate and the quality of life of two groups were compared. Results The breast shape excellent rate of the observation group (91.67%) was higher than the control group (72.22%),there was the significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).The symptoms,psychological and emotion-al state,physical state of physiological functions of daily living,social activities, and total scores of the observation group were higher than the control group,there were significant differences between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Early Breast conserving surgery in breast cancer patients with significant treatment effect,help to improve the quality of life after surgery,we have indications for surgery should be strictly controlled,so that the local recurrence after breast-conserving maximum degree of reduction.

Objective To assess the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture and moxibustion for treatment of vertebrobasilar insuffciency (VBI). Methods Randomized controlled trails (RCTs) of VBI treated by acupuncture and moxibustion were collected. 8 RCTs were included and assessed. The data was statistically analyzed by Meta-analysis and Funnel plot analysis. Result 8 RCTs were all trails of low methodological quality.
