ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the effects of estrogen receptor α (ERα) encoded by protein encoding gene ESR1 on the radiation resistance of breast cancer cells and their molecular mechanisms. Methods:The ESR1 overexpression plasmid was transfected into estrogen receptor (ER)-negative breast cancer cells. Then, the shRNA-ESR1 vector was introduced into ER-positive cell to establish models with different phenotype. The ATG5 mRNA level and protein expression levels of LC3B-I, LC3B-II, P62, FIP200, ATG5, ATG7, ATG12, Beclin1, ULK1 were detected using qPCR and Western blot techniques. Cell death was measured using flow cytometry. The radiation sensitivity was determined through the colony formation assay. The mortality of breast cancer cells under the autophagy gene knockdown and overexpression or treated with estrogen receptor inhibitor (TAM) combined with ionizing radiation were detected by trypan blue staining. Results:Under the condition of 8 Gy X-ray irradiation, the knockdown of ESR1 in ER-positive ZR75 breast cancer cells promoted cell death ( t = 3.49, 3.13, P < 0.05), while the overexpression of ESR1 in ER-negative MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells inhibited cell death ( t = 4.16, 7.48, P < 0.05). Compared to the control group, the treatment with chloroquine increased the number of formed colonies of ESR1 knockdown ZR75 cells ( t = 8.49, P < 0.05), and inhibiting autophagy could reduce the death of ZR75 cells caused by ESR1 silencing. Under the treatment with ionizing radiation, the overexpression of ESR1 in MDA-MB-231 cells promoted protective autophagy, which, however, was reduced after ESR1 knockdown in ZR75 cells. Furthermore, it was observed that the knockdown of ATG5 in ZR75 cells was associated with reduced autophagy and an increase in cell death ( t = 4.19, 6.39, P < 0.05). In contrast, the overexpression of ATG5 in ZR75 cells reversed the increase in cell death caused by ESR1 knockdown ( t = 1.70, 4.65, P < 0.05). After the treatment of ER-positive ZR75 breast cancer cells with TAM, the expressions of ATG5 and ATG12 decreased, suggesting inhibited autophagy and an increase in cell death ( t = 18.70, P < 0.05). Furthermore, these processes were promoted by ionizing radiation ( t = 16.82, P < 0.05). Conclusions:The estrogen receptor encoded by ESR1 promotes protective autophagy of ER-positive breast cancer cells by increasing ATG5, further leading to radiation resistance in ER-positive breast cancer cells. Treatment with tamoxifen combined with ionizing radiation can increase the radiation sensitivity of ER-positive breast cancer cells.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects and related mechanisms of electroacupuncture (EA) on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). METHODS: Male C57BL/6 mice were randomly allocated into normal, model, and EA groups. Experimental IBS mice models were established by exposure to water avoidance stress (WAS). Mice in the EA group were treated with EA at bilateral Tianshu (ST 25) and Zusanli (ST 36) for 7 consecutive days, 15 min each day. Abdominal withdrawal reflex (AWR) tests and intestinal motility tests were performed to evaluate visceral sensitivity and intestinal motility of mice. Expression levels of tight junction proteins (TJPs) and inflammatory cytokines in colon tissues were determined through immunofluorescence, real-time polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and Western blot assays. RESULTS: EA alleviated visceral hypersensitivity and intestinal hypermotility in WAS-induced IBS mice. Moreover, EA promoted the expression of zonula occludens (ZO)-1, claudin-1, and occludin while suppressing the expression of interleukin (IL)-8, interferon (IFN)-γ, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-αin water avoidance stress (WAS)-induced irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) mice. CONCLUSION: EA alleviated WAS-induced IBS in mice by promoting intestinal barrier functions and suppressing the expression of inflammatory cytokines.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the shedding of CAV2-ΔE3-CGS after immunization and the background of canine adenovirus (CAV) infection, and to establish a dual fluorescent quantitative PCR detection method for rabies virus (RV) and canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV2). Methods A dual fluorescent quantitative PCR detection method was established by designing specific primers and probes for E1 gene of CAV and G gene of RV for the detection of CAV2-ΔE3-CGS. Oral swabs, anal swabs and environmental samples of stray dogs from experimental animal farm and dog detention center were tested. Results The standard curves generated by this method were Y=-3.351 × logX + 44.895, R2 = .999 and Y=-3.413 × logX + 45.192, R2=0.996, respectively. The linear relationships were good, and the minimum detection limits were both 102 copies/μL. CAV2-ΔE3-CGS was not detected in experimental animal farm. CAV was detected in dog detention center, and the positive rates were 5.88% (5/85) in oral swabs, 8.24% (7/85) in anal swabs, and 4% (1/25) in environmental samples. Conclusion The dual fluorescent quantitative PCR method can be used for the detection of CAV2-ΔE3-CGS after immunization and the investigation of CAV infection. The present study has shown that no CAV2-ΔE3-CGS has been detected after immunization and CAV infection rate of stay dogs is low in Shanghai. CAV2-ΔE3-CGS oral immunization meets requirement and is applicable.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the expression of cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs) marker proteins in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC) using immunohistochemistry and explore their correlation with clinicopathological characteristics. Methods:The clinicopathological data of 90 PTC patients at Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from December 2019 to January 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. Surgical pathological cancer tissue samples were selected for immunohistochemical staining, and control group tissues were obtained from normal thyroid tissue adjacent to the tumor lesion. Four CAFs marker proteins, including fibroblast-activated protein(FAP), α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA), Vimentin, and platelet-derived growth factor receptor-α(PDGFR-α), were stained and scored, followed by statistical analysis. Results:The immunoreactivity score of the CAFs marker proteins were correlated with extrathyroid invasion, lymph node metastasis, and multi-focality of PTC. FAP and α-SMA demonstrated better performance in this regard. Multivariate logistic regression analysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis showed that high immunoreactivity scores of FAP and α-SMA were risk factors for poor clinical pathological features, with good predictive sensitivity and accuracy. Conclusion:Strong expression of CAFs was the risk factor for extrathyroid invasion, lymph node metastasis, and mutli-focality of PTC. FAP has the highest clinical value compared with other CAFs marker proteins.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the metabolic mechanism of papillary thyroid cancer(PTC) in normal and Hashimoto′s thyroiditis(HT) background, and to explore the relationship between HT and PTC.Methods:This study included a matched sample set collected from Tianjin Medical University General Hospital between January 2018 and January 2019, consisting of PTC and paracancular tissue from 31 cases with coexisting HT(HT group), and 30 cases without(NC group), all confirmed pathologically following thyroidectomy. The ultra-high performance liquid chromatography combined with mixed four-stage poles time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) was employed to acquire data from the samples. Metabolite differences between the two groups were compared, aiming to identify distinct metabolic mechanisms of PTC under different backgrounds. Metabolic pathway analysis was conducted using Metabo-Analyst 5.0 to explore relevant metabolic pathways. Results:The HT group and NC group shared 7 common differentially expressed metabolites, including arginine, glutamic acid, cysteine, citric acid, malic acid, uracil, and taurine. Logistic regression model combined with receiver operating characteristic(ROC) analysis of these 7 biomarkers yielded excellent discriminatory capacity for PTC(area under ROC curve of HT group and NC group were 0.867 and 0.973, respectively). The common metabolic pathways were taurine and hypotaurine metabolism, arginine biosynthesis, alanine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid metabolism, arginine and proline metabolism, and glutamine and glutamic acid metabolism. The specific metabolic pathways in HT group were aminoacyl tRNA biosynthesis, glycine, serine, and threonine metabolism. Conclusion:The metabolic profiles of thyroid cancer exhibit significant differences between cases with normal backgrounds and those with HT. The specific pathways for PTC and HT are aminoacyl tRNA biosynthesis and the metabolism of glycine, serine, and threonine.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To identify the anatomical landmarks with stable and consistent performance in both rigid and deformation registrations, and to investigate the feasibility that take them as the quantitative indexes for quantitative evaluation of multimodality image registration for pancreatic cancer in clinical practice. Methods:Twenty-five patients with pancreatic cancer were selected. Both the rigid and deformation registrations were performed between simulated CT and MRI T1-weighted images.Seven anatomical landmarks, which were left adrenal gland, portal vein, celiac trunk artery, superior mesenteric artery, lumbar vertebral body, inferior vena cava and abdominal aorta, were selected. The anatomical landmarks were marked on the simulated CT and the registered MRI,respectively. The distances between the geometric centers of each anatomical landmarks in two kinds of images were statistically analyzed. The Wilcoxon rank sum test was implemented to compare the differences between rigid and deformation registrations. In addition, the correlations between anatomical landmarks were analyzed as well. Results:The mean distances of centers for the seven anatomical markers under rigid registration ranged from 0.405 cm to 1.097 cm,while they ranged from 0.433 cm to 0.740 cm under deformation registration. There was no significant difference in the registration of anatomical markers between rigid and deformation registration, except the left adrenal gland. The registration differences of celiac trunk artery and abdominal aorta were of most stable in 25 patients.Correlation study showed that all anatomical markers except abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava were independent and significant. Conclusion:It is feasible to quantitatively evaluate the registration quality of multimodality image registration for pancreatic cancer by using anatomical landmarks. It is recommended to use celiac trunk artery and abdominal aorta as the anatomical markers in clinical procedure. They are both stable in rigid and deformation registration, and the correlation between them is low, with means they can be used as independent evaluation criteria.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the mechanisms of work-family conflict (WFC) and work-family enrichment (WFE) between job demands and subjective well-being (SWB) among nurses. Methods: A total of 1 420 nurses were selected as the study subjects from five tertiary public hospitals in Shandong Province using two-stage sampling method. Job Demands-Resources Scale, Work-Family Relationship Scale and General Well-Being Scale were used for investigating the job demands, job resources, WFC, WFE, and SWB. Results: The average score of SWB in nurses was (75.5±15.1). Job demands had a negative effect on SWB in nurses (standardized regression coefficient=-0.17, P<0.01). WFC and WFE played parallel mediating roles in the relationship between job demands and SWB, with the mediating effect values of -0.29 and -0.07, respectively (both P<0.01). The interaction of job resources and job demands positively affected WFC (standardized regression coefficient<0.01, P<0.01). Conclusion: Job demands affect SWB through the mediating roles of WFC and WFE, and the impact of job demands on WFC is moderated by job resources. The effect of job demands on WFC is relatively strong in nurses with high levels of job resources, but the difference in the effect of high and low levels of job resources is small.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To study the feasibility and potential benefits of beam angle optimization (BAO) to automated planning in liver cancer.@*METHODS@#An approach of beam angle sampling is proposed to implement BAO along with the module Auto-planning in treatment planning system (TPS) Pinnacle. An in-house developed plan quality metric (PQM) is taken as the preferred evaluating method during the sampling. The process is driven automatically by in-house made Pinnacle scripts both in sampling and scoring. In addition, dosimetry analysis and physician's opinion are also performed as the supplementary and compared with the result of PQM.@*RESULTS@#It is revealed by the numerical analysis of PQM scores that only 15% patients whose superior trials evaluated by PQM are also the initial trials. Gantry optimization can bring benefit to plan quality along with auto-planning in liver cancer. Similar results are provided by both dose comparison and physician's opinion.@*CONCLUSIONS@#It is possible to introduce a full automated approach of beam angle optimization to automated planning process. The advantages of this procedure can be observed both in numerical analysis and physician's opinion.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To investigate whether electroacupuncture (EA) at bilateral Tianshu (ST25) and Zusanli (ST36) acupoints could alleviate stress-induced irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and evaluate its effect on gut microbiota and corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF). METHODS: Thirty C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into the normal, water avoidance stress (WAS), and WAS+EA groups (10 mice per group). An experimental model of IBS was established by exposing the animals to WAS. The mice were treated with EA at the bilateral Tianshu (ST25) and Zusanli (ST36) acupoints. The abdominal withdrawal reflex test was conducted to evaluate visceral sensitivity in IBS. Gut microbiota was analyzed using 16S rRNA sequencing and analysis. The expression of CRF was determined using immune-ofluorescence and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: EA alleviated visceral hypersensitivity in a mouse model of WAS-induced IBS. It modulated the dysbiosis of gut microbiota induced by WAS. Moreover, it suppressed the WAS-induced overexpression of CRF in colon tissues. CONCLUSION: The findings of this study suggest that EA alleviated WAS-induced IBS mechanisms possibly involving the modulation of the dysbiosis of gut microbiota and suppression of CRF expression.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND@#SMARCA2 (SWI/SNF Related, Matrix Associated, Actin Dependent Regulator of Chromatin, Subfamily A, Member 2) is an important ATPase catalytic subunit in the switch-sucrose nonfermenting (SWI/SNF) complex. However, its relationship with the pathological features of NSCLC and its prognosis remain unclear.@*METHODS@#We retrospectively reviewed 2390 patients with surgically resected NSCLC, constructed tissue microarrays (TMAs) and performed immunohistochemical assays. We analyzed the correlation of SAMRCA2 with clinicopathological features and evaluated its prognostic value.@*RESULTS@#Among 2390 NSCLC cases, the negative expression ratios of SAMRCA2, SMARCA4, ARID1A, ARID1B and INI1 were 9.3%, 1.8%, 1.2%, 0.4% and 0%, respectively. In NSCLC, male sex, T3 and T4 stage, moderate and poor differentiation, tumor ≥ 2 cm, Ki67 ≥ 15%, SOX-2 negative expression, middle lobe lesion and adenocarcinoma were relative risk factors affecting SMARCA2-negative expression. In lung adenocarcinomas, high-grade nuclei, histological morphology of acinar and papillary, solid and micropapillary and TTF-1-negative expression were relative risk factors affecting SMARCA2-negative expression. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that the OS was shorter in the SMARCA2-negative group. Multivariate survival analysis revealed that SMARCA2-negative expression was an independent factor correlated with a poor prognosis in NSCLC.@*CONCLUSION@#In conclusion, SMARCA2-negative expression is an independent predictor of a poor outcome of NSCLC and is a potential target for NSCLC treatment.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To study the effect of changing operator on the detection rate of colorectal polyps during surgery in patients who had been diagnosed with colorectal polyps by electronic colonoscopy for the first time. Methods:From June 2016 to June 2019, the patients who had been diagnosed with colorectal polyps by electronic colonoscopy for the first time, they were performed by electronic colonoscopy for the second time after 3 months by 5 doctors in the No.946 Hospital of PLA who had engaged in endoscopic work longer and been with rich experience. The results of the electronic colonoscopy were recorded and compared. Results:Fived hundred and seventy-six patients were found have colorectal polyps through electronic colonoscopy for the first time. Among them, 423 patients came to the hospital within 3 months and were eligibled for the research. The detection rate of newly detected polyps by the same operator was 22.7%(96/423), after changing the operator, the detection rate became 24.3% (103/423), but there was no significant difference ( P>0.05). The detection rates of newly detected polyps were respectively 20.8% (220/1 059) and 25.9%(294/1 133), the proportion of newly detected polyps with diameter ≤ 5 mm was respectively 73.6%(162/220) and 82.0%(241/294), the ratio of flat polyps to total newly detected polyps was 71.8%(158/220) and 79.9%(235/294), and there were significant differences ( P<0.05). The proportion of polyps in sigmoid colon was respectively 35.0% (77/220) and 39.1%(115/294), and there was no significant difference ( P>0.05). Conclusions:For patients with colorectal polyps detected by electronic colonoscopy, the operator should be changed during surgery, so that more missed polyps can be detected during surgery, especially flat polyps with diameter ≤ 5 mm. The operator should be changed to improve the detection rate and reduce the probability of missed diagnosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effects of allicin on the proliferation, migration and angiogenesis of rat vascular endothelial cells (RVES), and to explore the influencing mechanism of allicin on epidural fibrosis. Methods:According to the results of preliminary experiments, RVECs were divided into control group (0 mg/L), low concentration group (25 mg/L), medium concentration group (50 mg/L) and high concentration group (100 mg/L). The morphology, viability, migration rate, cell cycle, apoptosis rate and cell lumen formation ability were measured using fluorescence microscope, AnnexinV-FITC double staining, PI/RN-asestaining, scratch assay and Transwell experiments test. Western Blot was used to measure the protein expression level of JAK2, STAT3, p-STAT3, PCNA, Bax and Bcl-2 protein. Using random number method, 36 adult male SD rats were divided into sham operation group, saline group and allicin group, with 12 rats in each group. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, Masson staining and immunohistochemical staining were used to analysis the epidural fibrosis in each group. Results:With the increase of concentration of allicin, cell viability, cell migration and lumen formation ability significantly lower than that of control group ( P<0.05). With the increase of allicin concentration, the percentage of cells in the G1 and S phases gradually decreased ( P<0.05), the percentage of cells in the G2 phase and the apoptosis rate gradually increased ( P<0.05), and the cells were blocked in the G2/M phase. With the increase of allicin concentration, the protein expression levels of JAK2, STAT3, p-STAT3, PCNA and Bcl-2 were gradually down-regulated ( P<0.05), while the protein expression level of Bax was gradually up-regulated ( P<0.05), the ratio of p-STAT3/STAT3 was decreased ( P<0.05), and the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 was increased ( P<0.05). There was no death, infection or abnormal gait in all the experimental animals. Dense scar tissue could be observed in the extradural area of the sham operation group and the epidural area of the control group, but there was obvious space between the epidural scar and the dura mater in the allicin group, and the density of collagen, the number of blood vessels, and the protein density of p-STAT3 were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Allicin inhibits angiogenesis and the severity of epidural scar after laminectomy, and the mechanism may be through inhibiting the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway of vascular endothelial cells.

ABSTRACT

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the main cause of severe visual impairment in diabetic patients. Most of the existing treatments are aimed at patients with intermediate and advanced stages of vision impairment, and are invasive treatments with limited effects. Therefore, it is urgent for non-invasive new therapies and new targets to prevent the risk of DR or delay the progress of DR. Early optimization of metabolic therapies, which are strict control of blood glucose, blood pressure and blood lipid in the early stage of diabetes, may prevent or improve potential and reversible microangiopathy, however, there is still a lack of comprehensive and effective drug targeted therapy and unified clinical application standards. Therefore, this study summarizes the application of new hypoglycemic drugs and some antihypertensive and lipid-lowering drugs in the prevention and treatment of DR in recent years, in order to provide some reference for the clinical early prevention and treatment of this disease.

ABSTRACT

Objective:Exploring the " bottle neck" factors in the scientific research management of recipient hospitals, making good use of counterpart support resources to help identifying appropriate, tailored strategies of scientific research management that might improve the research capacity of recipient hospitals. Methods:Data were collected according to questionnaire survey and on-site interview, ABC classification method were used to perform statistical analysis, and " bottleneck" factors that constraint the scientific research work of the recipient hospital were summarized. Results:" Insufficient scientific research skills and lacking of talents" and " lacking of scientific research environment and recognition" are the two most prominent factors that negatively affect the scientific research capacity building of the recipient hospitals, followed closely by " the out-dated scientific research policies and lacking support from the hospital leadership" , insufficient of research platform or resources including research funding, as well as other factors. Based on such findings, this article took the First People's Hospital of Kashgar (Guangdong counterpart support) as an example, and tried to discuss some corresponding measures on how to make good use of counterpart support resources. Conclusions:The ABC classification method were used to identify the main " bottleneck" factors, and a series of effective measures that help to making good use of counterpart support resources were explored. As a result, the efficiency of the scientific research management of the recipient hospitals, which in terms of management methods, management concepts and management models, were improved.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the trend of medication use in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) in recent ten years in at Xijing Hospital, Air Force Military Medical University. Methods:From 2010 to 2019, the clinical data of 1 425 patients diagnosed with UC in the Department of Gastroenterology at Xijing Hospital, Air Force Medical University, were retrospectively collected. According to the period of medication, the UC patients were divided into year 2010 to 2014 group and year 2015 to 2019 group. The general information and the medication trend of year 2010 to 2014 group and year 2015 to 2019 group were analyzed. And then according to gender and age (<40 years old and ≥40 years old), patients were divided into subgroups and analyzed. Independent sample t test and chi-square test were used for statistical analysis. Results:The number of UC patients of year 2010 to 2014 group and year 2015 to 2019 group was 369 and 1 056, respectively. The percentages of patients in remission of the two groups were 9.5% (35/369) and 12.0% (127/1 056), respectively; the percentages of mild patients were 40.4% (149/369) and 41.6% (439/1 056), respectively; the percentages of moderate patients were 37.4% (138/369) and 28.9% (305/1 056), respectively; the percentages of severe patients were 12.7% (47/369) and 17.5% (185/1 056), respectively. There was no significant difference in the proportion of UC patients with different degrees between year 2010 to 2014 group and year 2015 to 2019 group ( P>0.05). There were no significant differences in the age and proportion of female between the year 2010 to 2014 group and year 2015 to 2019 group ((46.2±15.3) years old vs. (44.6±30.6) years old; 45.8%, 169/369 vs. 44.8%, 473/1 056; both P>0.05). The utilization rates of 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA), glucocorticoid, immunosuppressants, and biological agents of the year 2015 to 2019 group were all higher than those of the year 2010 to 2014 group (96.8%, 1 022/1 056 vs. 90.0%, 332/369; 29.9%, 316/1 056 vs. 14.6%, 54/369; 8.4%, 89/1 056 vs. 2.4%, 9/369; 4.8%, 51/1 056 vs. 0.5%, 2/369, respectively), and the differences were all statistically significant ( χ2=26.766, 33.256, 15.315 and 14.038, all P<0.01). Within each of the year 2010 to 2014 group and the year 2015 to 2019 group, there were no significant differences between the female and male in the age, utilization rates of 5-ASA, glucocorticoid, immunosuppressants and biological agents ((47.2±13.6) years old vs. (45.3±16.5) years old, (43.1±12.9) years old vs. (45.8±39.5) years old, 88.8%, 150/169 vs. 91.0%, 182/200; 96.8%, 458/473 vs. 96.7%, 564/583; 13.6%, 23/169 vs. 15.5%, 31/200; 28.3%, 134/473 vs. 31.2%, 182/583; 2.4%, 4/169 vs. 2.5%, 5/200; 7.0%, 33/473 vs. 9.6%, 56/583; 0 vs. 1.0%, 2/200; 5.3%, 25/473 vs. 4.5%, 26/583; all P>0.05). In the patients aged≥40 years old of the year 2010 to 2014 group, the proportion of females was higher than that of the patients aged <40 years old (50.2%, 121/241 vs. 37.5%, 48/128), and the utilization rate of 5-ASA in patients aged ≥40 years old was lower than that of patients aged <40 years old (85.9%, 207/241 vs. 97.7%, 125/128), and the differences were statistically significant ( χ2=5.438 and 12.824, P=0.020 and P<0.01). In the year 2010 to 2014 group, there were no statistically significant differences in the utilization rates of glucocorticoid, immunosuppressants and biological agents between patients aged ≥40 years old and patients aged <40 years old (13.7%, 33/241 vs. 16.4%, 21/128; 2.1%, 5/241 vs. 3.1%, 4/128; 0 vs. 1.6%, 2/128; all P>0.05). In the year 2015 to 2019 group, the utilization rate of biological agents in patients aged≥40 years old was lower than that in patients aged<40 years old (3.7%, 23/630 vs. 46.5%, 198/426), and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=4.721, P=0.030). In the year 2015 to 2019 group, there were no statistically significant differences in female proportion, utilization rates of 5-ASA, glucocorticoid, immunosuppressants and biological agents between patients aged≥40 years old and patients aged <40 years old (43.7%, 275/630 vs. 46.5%, 198/426; 96.0%, 605/630 vs. 97.9%, 417/426; 29.7%, 187/630 vs. 30.3%, 129/426; 8.6%, 54/630 vs. 8.2%, 35/426; all P>0.05).
