ABSTRACT

The construction of ultrathin porous membranes with stable structures is critical for achieving efficient gas separation. Inspired by the binary-cooperative structural features of bones and teeth-composed of rigid hydroxyapatite and flexible collagen, which confer excellent mechanical strength-a binary-cooperative porous membrane constructed with gel-state zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (g-ZIFs), synthesized using a metal-gel-induced strategy, is proposed. The enlarged cavity size and flexible frameworks of the g-ZIF nanoparticles significantly improve gas adsorption and diffusion, respectively. After thermal treatment, the coordination structures forming rigid segments in the g-ZIF membranes appear at the stacked g-ZIF boundaries, exhibiting a higher Young's modulus than the g-ZIF nanoparticles, denoted as the flexible segments. The g-ZIF membranes demonstrate excellent tensile and compression resistances, attributed to the effective translation of binary-cooperative effects of rigidity and flexibility into the membranes. The resulting dual-aperture structure, composed of g-ZIF nanoparticles surrounded by nanoscale apertures at the boundaries, yields a membrane with a stable CO2 permeance of 4834 GPU and CO2/CH4 selectivity of 90 within 3.0 MPa.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: The highland barley, Hordeum vulgare L., is a staple food crop with superior nutritional functions in Xizang, China. It is often damaged by the black cutworm, Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel), which is an underground pest and difficult to effectively manage. To introduce a novel insecticide with unique mode of action, broflanilide (BFL) and its binary mixtures with chlorantraniliprole (CAP), fluxametamide, ß-cypermethrin or imidacloprid were screened out as seed treatment to control black cutworm in highland barley in the present study. RESULTS: In the laboratory bioassays, BFL had outstanding insecticidal activity to black cutworm with a median lethal dose (LD50) of 0.07 mg kg-1. The mixture of BFL × CAP at the concentration ratio of 7:40 exhibited the highest synergistic effect with a co-toxicity coefficient of 280.48. In the greenhouse pot experiments, BFL and BFL × CAP seed treatments at 8 g a.i. kg-1 seed could effectively control black cutworm, with a low percentage of injured seedlings <20% and high control efficacies of 93.33-100% during a period of 3-12 days after seed emergence. Moreover, BFL and BFL × CAP seed treatments could promote the seed germination and seedling growth of highland barley at the tested temperatures of 15, 20 and 25 °C. CONCLUSION: Our results indicated that BFL and BFL × CAP were effective and promising insecticides as seed treatment to control black cutworm in highland barley. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry.

ABSTRACT

Using smart or low salinity waters known as green processes gained increasing attention due to their unique features and their positive impacts on the environment. In light of this fact and since there is limited knowledge about the effects of salts under engineered concentrations or binary mixtures and crude oil fractions on the interfacial tension (IFT) reduction and wettability alteration of the resinous (RSO) and asphaltenic synthetic oil (ASO), the current investigation is designed and performed for the first time. Moreover, the dynamic behavior of the IFT variation was carefully investigated and the relaxation time was obtained and modeled to see the impact of mono and divalent salts individually and in binary conditions. The relaxation times revealed that the lowest adsorption times were obtained for NaCl/CaCl2 brine regardless of the examined oil types of ASO and RSO due to the high movement affinity of the polar functional groups toward the interface consequently reducing the required time for coverage and packing of active agents at the interface. Finally, the measured contact angle values revealed a significant effect of binary salts on the wettability alteration toward strongly water-wet conditions, especially for the RSO and ASO compared with crude oil.

ABSTRACT

Background: Gender dysphoria (GD) is frequently reported among transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse (TNG) populations, and is closely related to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). This study aimed to understand how GD influences the four mental health disparities among TNG youth, and to compare these outcomes depending on the severity of GD. Methods: 96,218 College students participated in the survey, of which the analysis was run on an extracted sub-set data of 2,315 (2.40%) TNG youth, with a mean age of 19.46 (SD = 1.52). Self-reported inventories measured sociodemographic factors, the severity of GD (Utrecht Gender Dysphoria Scale-Gender Spectrum), anxiety (seven-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Questionnaire), depression (nine-item Patient Health Questionnaire), suicidal ideation (Suicidal Behaviors Questionnaire-Revised), and NSSI (Clinician-Rated Severity of Non-Suicidal Self-Injury Scale). Binary logistic regression assessed the association between significant GD and the four psychiatric disorders. Adjusted multiple logistic regression, and directed acyclic graph (DAG) analyses were conducted to explore the activating relationship among GD, sociodemographic factors, and psychiatric disorders. Results: 1,582 (68.30%) TNG youth who experienced significant levels of GD (total scores cutoff >= 46) were entered into the analyses. Binary logistic regression displayed significantly positive associations between significant GD and anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and NSSI. Multiple regression models showed risk factors included poor relationship with one's father/mother, tobacco smoking, alcohol consumption, and having a lower subjective social status. While family harmony, a higher father's educational level, and partaking in exercise were protective factors that exerted distinct impacts on these four psychiatric disorders. DAG findings showed a poor relationship with one's father with significant GD via other socio-demographic characteristics, activated psychiatric disorders. Conclusions: TNG youth with higher levels of GD also exhibited more severe anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and NSSI. Tailored interventions should be provided to prioritize relieving those with severe GD to protect TNG youth from psychiatric outcomes further.

ABSTRACT

Direct synthesis of graphene on nonmetallic substrates via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) has become a frontier research realm targeting transfer-free applications of CVD graphene. However, the stable mass production of graphene with a favorable growth rate and quality remains a grand challenge. Herein, graphene glass fiber fabric (GGFF) was successfully developed through the controllable growth of graphene on non-catalytic glass fiber fabric, employing a synergistic binary-precursor CVD strategy to alleviate the dilemma between growth rate and quality. The binary precursors consisted of acetylene and acetone, where acetylene with high decomposition efficiency fed rapid graphene growth while oxygen-containing acetone was adopted for improving the layer uniformity and quality. Notably, the bifurcating introducing-confluent premixing (BI-CP) system was self-built for the controllable introduction of gas and liquid precursors, enabling the stable production of GGFF. GGFF features solar absorption and infrared emission properties, based on which the self-adaptive dual-mode thermal management film was developed. This film can automatically switch between heating and cooling modes by spontaneously perceiving the temperature, achieving excellent thermal management performances with heating and cooling power of ∼501.2 and ∼108.6 W m-2, respectively. These findings unlock a new strategy for the large-scale batch production of graphene materials and inspire advanced possibilities for further applications.

ABSTRACT

Objective: Trans and non-binary (TNB) immigrants, refugees, and newcomers (IRN) face intersecting challenges and barriers, including stigma and persecution in countries of origin, and others unique to the Canadian resettlement process. The present study aimed to investigate factors that are associated with having a primary healthcare provider among TNB IRN. Design: Trans PULSE Canada was a community-based, national study of health and wellbeing among 2,873 TNB people residing in Canada, aged 14 and older, who were recruited using a multi-mode convenience sampling approach.. The survey asked questions about identity, community, service access, health - and IRN were asked questions specific to immigration/settlement. Results: Of the 313 IRN participants who completed the full survey version (age M = 34.1, SE=0.75), 76.4 % had a primary healthcare provider. TNB IRN largely reported being Canadian citizens (59.8 %), gender non-binary or similar (46.9 %), currently living in Ontario (35.5 %), and having immigrated from the United States (32.1 %). Chi-square analyses revealed that having a primary healthcare provider was associated with age, gender identity, citizenship status, region of origin, current location in Canada, length of time since immigrating to Canada, status in gender affirming medical care, and having extended health insurance. With modified Poisson regression, we found that TNB IRN who were non-permanent residents, originating from European, African, and Oceania regions, or living in Quebec and the Prairie provinces were less likely to have a primary healthcare provider. Conclusion: Results may inform settlement organizations of the unique needs and barriers of TNB IRN. Schools and LGBTQ+ organizations may better serve this population - especially those originating from highlighted regions, who live in Quebec or the Prairie provinces, and/or are non-permanent residents - by offering programs that connect them to primary healthcare providers who are competent in cross-cultural trans health.

The intensity of green tea's floral and sweet flavors was enhanced after being scented by osmanthus (OSGT). However, the mechanism of flavor enhancement by key volatiles remains unknown. Here, the role of key volatiles in OSGT on aroma and taste was explored by sensory experiment-guided flavor analysis. Binary mixed models of (E)-ß-ionone, dihydro-ß-ionone, and α-ionone showed additive interactions on floral aroma enhancement, the interactions were increased with increasing concentrations. At the concentration in OSGT, binary mixed models of (E)-ß-ionone, geraniol, linalool, and γ-decalactone showed additive interactions on sweet aroma enhancement. (E)-ß-ionone, geraniol, linalool, and γ-decalactone all significantly increased the perceived intensity of sweetness of sucrose solutions. Additionally, molecular docking revealed the perception mechanism of olfactory and taste receptors to the above characterized volatiles, with hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions being the main interactions. This study highlights the importance of characteristic volatiles in enhancing the flavor of OSGT.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to describe the development of the Perceived Therapist's Knowledge about Gender Identity Diversity Scale and to preliminarily validate this scale by describing its psychometric properties. This research instrument was constructed based on the existing literature and recommendations for instrument development. Initially, a 36-item scale was devised to assess perceived openness and knowledge about gender identity diversity in therapy. The content validation process involved 12 expert judges, leading to a refined 25-item scale. Participants consisting of 57 trans and non-binary Puerto Rican individuals completed the scale. Exploratory factor analysis revealed a unidimensional structure, supporting a single factor named "perceived knowledge about gender identity diversity in therapy." The final scale demonstrated excellent reliability (α = 0.978; Sα = 0.980; ω = 0.979), indicating strong internal consistency. This validated scale contributes to assessing primarily Hispanic trans and non-binary individuals' perceptions of their therapists' knowledge about gender identity diversity.

ABSTRACT

Members of the phylum Gemmatimonadota can account for up to 10% of the phylogenetic diversity in bacterial communities. However, a detailed investigation of their cell biology and ecological roles is restricted by currently only six characterized species. By combining low-nutrient media, empirically determined inoculation volumes and long incubation times in a 96-well plate cultivation platform, we isolated two strains from a limnic sponge that belong to this under-studied phylum. The characterization suggests that the two closely related strains constitute a novel species of a novel genus, for which we introduce the name Pseudogemmatithrix spongiicola. The here demonstrated isolation of novel members from an under-studied bacterial phylum substantiates that the cultivation platform can provide access to axenic bacterial cultures from various environmental samples. Similar to previously described members of the phylum, the novel isolates form spherical appendages at the cell poles that were believed to be daughter cells resulting from asymmetric cell division by budding. However, time-lapse microscopy experiments and quantitative image analysis showed that the spherical appendages never grew or divided. Although the role of these spherical cells remains enigmatic, our data suggests that cells of the phylum Gemmatimonadota divide via FtsZ-based binary fission with different division plane localization patterns than in other bacterial phyla.

ABSTRACT

Understanding of energetics of interactions between drug and protein is essential in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics study. The binding affinity (K) helps in investigating how tightly or loosely drug is bound to protein. The binding, displacement, conformational change and stability study of drugs- gentamicin (GM), 5-fluorouracil (5FU), oxytetracycline (OTC) and rolitetracycline (RTC) with bovine serum albumin (BSA) has been carried out in presence of each other drug by fluorescence, UV-visible spectroscopy, molecular docking, circular dichroism techniques and thermal denaturation method. The site marker study and docking methods have confirmed that 5FU and GM are able to bind at site 1 and OTC and RTC at site II of BSA. The order of their binding affinities with BSA for the binary system were as GM <5FU < OTC < RTC with the order of 102 < 103 < 105 < 105-6 M-1. The displacement study has shown that higher affinity drug decreases the equilibrium constant of another drug already in bound state with BSA if both these drugs are having the same binding site. Therefore 5FU, GM (binding site 1) drugs were not able to displace OTC and RTC (binding site 2) and vice-versa as they are binding at two different sites. The binding constant values were found to be decreasing with increasing temperature for all the systems involved which suggests static or mixed type of quenching, however can only confirmed with the help of TCSPC technique. The ΔG0 (binding energy) obtained from docking method were in accordance with the ITC method. From molecular docking we have determined the amino acid residues involved in binding process for binary and ternary systems by considering first rank minimum binding energy confirmation. From CD it has been observed that RTC causes most conformational change in secondary and tertiary structure of BSA due to the presence of pyrrole ring. OTC-RTC with higher affinity showed highest melting temperature Tm values while low affinity drugs in (5FU-GM) combination showed lowest Tm value. 5FU showed large endothermic denaturation enthalpy ΔHd0 due to the presence of highly electronegative fluorine atom in the pyridine analogue.

ABSTRACT

Visual Place Recognition (VPR) aims to determine whether a robot or visual navigation system locates in a previously visited place using visual information. It is an essential technology and challenging problem in computer vision and robotic communities. Recently, numerous works have demonstrated that the performance of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based VPR is superior to that of traditional methods. However, with a huge number of parameters, large memory storage is necessary for these CNN models. It is a great challenge for mobile robot platforms equipped with limited resources. Fortunately, Binary Neural Networks (BNNs) can reduce memory consumption by converting weights and activation values from 32-bit into 1-bit. But current BNNs always suffer from gradients vanishing and a marked drop in accuracy. Therefore, this work proposed a BinVPR model to handle this issue. The solution is twofold. Firstly, a feature restoration strategy was explored to add features into the latter convolutional layers to further solve the gradient-vanishing problem during the training process. Moreover, we identified two principles to address gradient vanishing: restoring basic features and restoring basic features from higher to lower layers. Secondly, considering the marked drop in accuracy results from gradient mismatch during backpropagation, this work optimized the combination of binarized activation and binarized weight functions in the Larq framework, and the best combination was obtained. The performance of BinVPR was validated on public datasets. The experimental results show that it outperforms state-of-the-art BNN-based approaches and full-precision networks of AlexNet and ResNet in terms of both recognition accuracy and model size. It is worth mentioning that BinVPR achieves the same accuracy with only 1% and 4.6% model sizes of AlexNet and ResNet.

Dairy cattle health traits are paramount from a welfare and economic viewpoint; therefore, modern breeding programs prioritize the genetic improvement of these traits. Estimated breeding values for health traits are published as the probability of animals staying healthy. They are obtained using threshold models, which assume that the observed binary phenotype (i.e., healthy or sick) is dictated by an underlying normally distributed liability exceeding or not a threshold. This methodology requires significant computing time and faces convergence challenges as it implies a nonlinear system of equations. Linear models have more straightforward computations and provide a robust approximation to threshold models; thus, they could be used to overcome the mentioned challenges. However, linear models yield estimated breeding values on the observed scale, requiring an approximation to the liability scale analogous to that from threshold models to later obtain the estimated breeding values on the probability scale. In addition, the robustness of the approximation of linear to threshold models depends on the amount of information and the incidence of the trait, with extreme incidence (i.e., ≤ 5%) deviating from optimal approximation. Our objective was to test a transformation from the observed to the liability and then to the probability scale in the genetic evaluation of health traits with moderate and very low (extreme) incidence. Data comprised displaced abomasum (5.1M), ketosis (3.6M), lameness (5M), and mastitis (6.3M) records from a Holstein population with a pedigree of 6M animals, of which 1.7M were genotyped. Univariate threshold and linear models were performed to predict breeding values. The agreement between estimated breeding values on the probability scale derived from threshold and linear models was assessed using Spearman rank correlations and comparison of estimated breeding values distributions. Correlations were at least 0.95, and estimated breeding value distributions almost entirely overlapped for all the traits but displaced abomasum, the trait with the lowest incidence (2%). Computing time was ∼3x longer for threshold than for linear models. In this Holstein population, the approximation was suboptimal for a trait with extreme incidence (2%). However, when the incidence was ≥6%, the approximation was robust, and its use is recommended along with linear models for analyzing categorical traits in large populations to ease the computational burden.

ABSTRACT

Model parameter estimation is a well-known inverse problem, as long as single-value point data are available as observations of system performance measurement. However, classical statistical methods, such as the minimization of an objective function or maximum likelihood, are no longer straightforward, when measurements are imprecise in nature. Typical examples of the latter include censored data and binary information. Here, we explore Approximate Bayesian Computation as a simple method to perform model parameter estimation with such imprecise information. We demonstrate the method for the example of a plain rainfall-runoff model and illustrate the advantages and shortcomings. Last, we outline the value of Shapley values to determine which type of observation contributes to the parameter estimation and which are of minor importance.

ABSTRACT

Benefits of parental gender-affirming behaviors on the mental health and well-being of the broader gender-expansive youth population have been extensively documented. However, the nature and impact of these behaviors have not been explored by centering Black and Latine transgender/non-binary youth (BLTY). This article offers a new framework called the "Parental Gender Affirmation Model." This framework conceptualizes parental gender-affirming behaviors toward BLTY through the lenses of intersectional stigma and cultural gender norms and uses the Theory of Planned Behavior and Modified Gender Affirmation Model as foundational frameworks. We analyzed qualitative data from 43 interviews with BLTY, parents of BLTY, and Black and Latine transgender/non-binary young adults from California in the United States to develop the framework. The "Parental Gender Affirmation Model" starts with behavioral antecedents and ends with impacts of these behaviors on BLTY's well-being. This framework will inform the development of critically needed, culturally-informed interventions to support parental gender affirmation of BLTY.

ABSTRACT

This paper presents a model specification for group comparisons regarding a functional trend over time within a trial and learning across a series of trials in intensive binary longitudinal eye-tracking data. The functional trend and learning effects are modeled using by-variable smooth functions. This model specification is formulated as a generalized additive mixed model, which allowed for the use of the freely available mgcv package (Wood in Package 'mgcv.' https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/mgcv/mgcv.pdf , 2023) in R. The model specification was applied to intensive binary longitudinal eye-tracking data, where the questions of interest concern differences between individuals with and without brain injury in their real-time language comprehension and how this affects their learning over time. The results of the simulation study show that the model parameters are recovered well and the by-variable smooth functions are adequately predicted in the same condition as those found in the application.

ABSTRACT

Gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) plays a significant role in the medical care of transgender individuals, helping to align their physical characteristics with their gender identity. While numerous studies have investigated the impact of GAHT on adults, research focusing on its effects on the quality of life (QoL) of transgender youth is limited. In this opinion paper, we aim to address selected challenges associated with gender-affirming medical care, such as (1) the necessity for evidence-based youth gender-affirming medical care, (2) the urge to explore different approaches to gender-affirming medical care diversely in transgender youth research, and (3) understanding the challenges of the detransition process (which refers to stopping or reversing gender-affirming medical or surgical treatments), as well as suggest possible solutions for meaningful progress. Notably, the available evidence underlines a positive impact of GAHT on various aspects of QoL of transgender youth, such as mental health and social functioning, by alleviating gender dysphoria, improving body satisfaction, and facilitating appearance congruence (the degree to which an individual's physical appearance represents their gender identity). However, challenges related to methodological limitations, as well as ethical considerations, and several sociocultural factors highlight the need for further research to better understand the long-term effects of GAHT on the QoL of transgender youth. Ethical considerations, such as ensuring informed consent and weighing potential benefits against risks, are pivotal in guiding healthcare decisions. Additionally, navigating these ethical responsibilities amid sociocultural contexts is crucial for providing inclusive and respectful care to transgender youth. Addressing these research gaps is, therefore, crucial to developing successful healthcare programmes, raising awareness, and promoting the holistic well-being of transgender youth through comprehensive and affirming care.

Essential oils (EOs) are plant metabolites with important insecticidal effects. Nevertheless, information on the efficacy of the major substances on aphids and their natural enemies is still missing. The objective of this paper is, therefore, to identify the efficacy of selected EO majority substances-ß-citronellol, carvacrol, isoeugenol, and linalool, including their binary mixtures-on the mortality and fertility of the aphid Metopolophium dirhodum, an important cereal pest. The best efficacy was proven for the binary mixture of ß-citronellol and linalool (1:1 ratio), for which the estimated LC50(90) is 0.56(1.58) mL L-1. This binary mixture applied in sublethal concentrations significantly reduced aphid fertility. It was found that the phenomenon can be attributed to ß-citronellol, as the females treated with LC30 laid 45.9% fewer nymphs, on average, compared to the control. Although ß-citronellol and linalool, including their 1:1 mixture, showed very good efficacy on aphid mortality, they were, on the other hand, very friendly to the larvae of Aphidoletes aphidimyza and Chrysoperla carnea, which are important aphid predators. Based on our results, the newly discovered synergically acting binary mixture ß-citronellol/linalool can be recommended as an efficient substance suitable for the further development of botanical insecticides used against aphids.

Few studies included objective blood pressure (BP) to construct the predictive model of severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This study used binary logistic regression model (BLRM) and the decision tree method (DTM) to constructed the predictive models for identifying severe OSA, and to compare the prediction capability between the two methods. Totally 499 adult patients with severe OSA and 1421 non-severe OSA controls examined at the Sleep Medicine Center of a tertiary hospital in southern Taiwan between October 2016 and April 2019 were enrolled. OSA was diagnosed through polysomnography. Data on BP, demographic characteristics, anthropometric measurements, comorbidity histories, and sleep questionnaires were collected. BLRM and DTM were separately applied to identify predictors of severe OSA. The performance of risk scores was assessed by area under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUCs). In BLRM, body mass index (BMI) ≥27 kg/m2, and Snore Outcomes Survey score ≤55 were significant predictors of severe OSA (AUC 0.623). In DTM, mean SpO2 <96%, average systolic BP ≥135 mmHg, and BMI ≥39 kg/m2 were observed to effectively differentiate cases of severe OSA (AUC 0.718). The AUC for the predictive models produced by the DTM was higher in older adults than in younger adults (0.807 vs. 0.723) mainly due to differences in clinical predictive features. In conclusion, DTM, using a different set of predictors, seems more effective in identifying severe OSA than BLRM. Differences in predictors ascertained demonstrated the necessity for separately constructing predictive models for younger and older adults.

ABSTRACT

Asymmetric kinetic resolution polymerization (AKRP) provides an ideal way to obtain highly isotactic polylactide (PLA) with superior thermal-mechanical properties from racemic lactide (rac-LA). However, the development of a new catalytic system with concurrent high activity and selectivity at ambient temperature remains a great challenge. Here, a series of simple and effective binary organocatalytic pairs containing axial-chiral thioureas and commercially available phosphazene bases were designed. These chiral binary organocatalytic pairs allow for both high polymerization activity and moderate enantioselectivity for AKRP of rac-LA at room temperature, yielding semi-crystalline and metal-free stereoblock PLA with a melting temperature as high as 186 °C. The highest kinetic resolution coefficient (krel) of 8.5 at 47% conversion was obtained, and D-LA was preferentially polymerized via kinetic resolution with a maximum selectivity factor (kD/kL) of 18.1, indicating that an enantiomorphic site control mechanism (ESC) was involved.

ABSTRACT

AIM: This study aimed to describe characteristics and treatment choices among AMABs (Assigned Male At Birth) and AFABs (Assigned Female At Birth) transgenders enrolled from March 2021 to July 2023 at the PTA S. Giorgio of the ASP3-Catania. CASE HISTORY: A total of 145 patients were studied, and there was no prevalence of AMAB/AFAB. At first observation for AMABs, the age was 26 years and 25 years for AFABs, with 11 AMAB/AFAB declared as "non-binary" (average age 17 years). RESULTS: In AMAB/AFAB, we evaluated hormonal treatment, efficacy, and dosage/hormonal levels. In AMABs, oral estradiol valerate (4 mg/day) or transdermal estradiol in gel (2 mg/day) + oral cyproterone acetate (25 mg/day) for both estrogenic formulations were used. Testosterone (TE), LH, FSH, and PRL at baseline and during chronic treatment were measured. In AFABs, we used injectable TE (250 mg/3-4 weeks or 1 g/12-16 weeks) or transdermal TE (60- 80 mg/day). In these patients, we analyzed blood count, LH, FSH, and TE. Hematocrit, hemoglobin, and red blood cell count showed a modest elevation after 4-6 months of treatment. About 32% of AFABs complained of transient uterine bleeding, but no hypertension or ovarian pathology was detected. CONCLUSION: In AMABs, despite the short observation period, no patient showed an increased risk of myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke. Among AFABs, no increased risk of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease was observed. Furthermore, given the complexity of the phenomenon, the integration between the different professional figures who require specific and qualified skills is fundamental.
